A Dragon and his Frillies

And so he found himself assuring appropriate sleep clothing was applied to his own body and the dragon who frowned.

“Why do you have to wear restrictions to sleep?” Ishennor asked.

“Normally it wouldn’t matter but we haven’t agreed to that kind of relationship with Aldrina so we have to be a bit more thoughtful with her presence.” Drishiel explained. “Besides the frills suit you.” He offered. Ishennor bolstered at the compliment then pause.

“Do I have to wear them as a dragon?” He asked.

“No.” Drishiel commented and Ishennor paused.

“But I’m the same either way.” He pointed out.

“If you would like me to make you wear pants on your dragon form I will comply without argument.” Drishiel answered and Ishennor quieted because of course he didn’t want to wear pants on his dragon form. There was a knock at the door and then it opened and a person under and employment contract motioned her in. She still stood in the days garb but had a pack tossed over her shoulder.

“I’m borrowing your closet.” She offered ducking into an area accurately deduced as such. When she came out she was wearing another tunic. Drishiel waited for Ishennor to point out that fact but he fluttered over to her and around her.

“I am wearing appropriate sleep clothing.” He informed her. Aldrina looked him over.

“You look very nice.” She offered to him. Ishennor’s eyes flared and he ducked forward and pressed his face into her neck. She paused and he opened his mouth to scold Ishennor but she ran her fingers through his hair.

“Why don’t you wear frillies?” Ishennor asked. She paused then chuckled.

“I lived in a poor village that was starving and then I lived moving place to place trying to stay out of trouble. When would I have acquired frillies I wouldn’t have sold?” She asked him gently guiding his realization. He pulled back.

“But we have the frillies and you can wear them.” He offered ducking into the closet. He came out with one of the various night clothing that Drishiel had prepared.

Ishennor undressed her right there. Drishiel diverted his gaze and Ishennor dressed her much like Drishiel did Ishennor.

Drishiel took note of her dry smirk when she stood in the frills. Ishennor beamed and twirled her. Aldrina let out a soft chuckled.

“We match.” She pointed out. Ishennor who was already looking excited looked as if the comment made his night. Then Ishennor’s eyes fell on him. Drishiel was also wearing appropriate sleep clothing but his weren’t a pretty shade of blue like theirs but a dark shade of what he thought to be practical grey, it was not nearly as frilly.

“No.” Drishiel offered before Ishennor could try and change him. Drishiel frowned.

“He’s the stable stone to the flippant air.” Aldrina offered. Ishennor paused his ear twitched a bit up considering. Then he nodded and pulled Drishiel toward the bed. Drishiel was surprised when he was pushed to the middled of the bed like he usually slept and Ishennor placed her on one side and laid on his other.

“Is this proof of you being a wing man again?” Drishiel asked. Ishennor hummed nuzzling into the bed wrapping an arm around Drishiel and holding Aldrina’s hand. Drishiel met Aldrina’s eyes in an apology. She though looked him over and the pulled a blanket up higher still facing him not pushing away the hand that held hers falling asleep.
