Lemon sighed as people stared, Not at her no customers were used to her now. The hulking Dragon man that otherwise avoided social interaction on any basic level? Him walking through his own shop had people stumbling on the way in.
He still didn’t talk to customers but he did poke at tasks he saw her do able to in record time shift to hovering around her.
Madam Locksted a thin older woman who didn’t dress in cloaks or wear a mask but Lemon knew was no less veiled of her normal face. Lemon smiled at her concerned glance at the Dragon Lemon had chosen to fully indulge in this particular instance.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen him down here.” She voiced turning her warmest smile onto Lemon who offered it back.
“I’m afraid someone threatened to steal me, and he really doesn’t like being stolen from.” Lemon answered in a chipper turn not for the first time today. Like each time she did Zohar looked as if someone would be incited by the words and hovered closer. This time though the woman leaned in.
“Is it literal dear or has he caught on to how often people flirt with you?” The older woman giggled sparkling a bit. Leon saw Zohar’s turn a bit his brows furrowing glancing at her as if determining whether flirting was the newest concern for him.
“Literally.” She chirped back. The woman’s humor fell and her face though not her own Lemon felt twisted with genuine concern.

“Oh. Dearest.” She breathed taking Lemon’s hand and the Dragon eyed the movement relaxed paused looked it over then turned away. Lemon sighed. “Are you alright?” The woman gushed. Lemon considered that then shrugged.
“I’m a little scared.” She admitted because there was no way she couldn’t be scared but she still stood by one truth at least. “I’ve probably been more safe here though then I have ever been in my life.” She admitted with a chuckle and hope the whole truth of that didn’t radiate from her very being. Zohar waited until Madam Locksted left before finding his tasks miraculously back over to her before he dropped the pretense of having them. He stepped into her space and ducked down to be level with her looking over her face as if at every moment it held hundreds of answers.
“People flirt with you?” He asked. Lemon couldn’t tell if he was asking her what flirting was or asking why they would flirt with her. Lemon shrugged tilting her head holding his gaze.
“When I’m trying to sell something, for some I put on the I’m pretty, chipper and you can approach me persona.” She offered brightening her tone in the way. “That persona is easiest to flirt with.” She offered. He nodded looking over her face again before leaning in cautiously.
“Do I have to worry about them taking you away?” He his rumble of a voice sounding more curious then anything. Lemon smirked and glanced at the customers that were now fully gaping.
“No. Not particularly.” She answered softly. Zohar relaxed nodding. Then he paused and his face pinched and he looked at her if again searching for answers. He ducked in a bit more sparkling just a bit.
“Do I flirt with you?” He asked. Lemon couldn’t help her face breaking int a smile at his genuine curiosity contemplative look.
“I don’t know for sure. But I will say you’ve made your interest perfectly known.” Lemon offered to him. These words seemed to ease him he pressed his nose to the side of her face before going back through his tasks he’d complete again and again. And Lemon went back to work.
