And just to clear this up before anyone starts: in this universe, humans live up to 500 years, so age is not a factor here. Obviously, characters need to be age-appropriate in relationships, that goes without saying. I always make sure that every character is at least 25 or older whenever they're in romantic or intimate situations.
I only bring this up because some of my Instagram readers keep questioning relationships like Kellix and Hielo in one of my other series. Both of them are grown adults, and they can do what they want. Plus, this is fiction, nobody lives to 400 years old in real life, but if they did, things would probably work the same way I've written it.
