In the first days after its creation, Deer Point's early human inhabitants were frightened and disoriented. Among them rose a leader, Queen Rekumae, who began organizing the citizens, bringing structure to the new skybound world.
QUEEN REKUMAE
A century later, she gave birth to two sons: Benkage and Jiguzo.
BENKAGE
JIGUZO
Jiguzo murdered Benkage and seized the throne. As King, he made three historic decisions:
He divided the population into two classes:
Royals: Elite cyborgs, Robot machines and governing class.
Zoners: Commoners and outcasts.
He established the Three Branches to maintain order and protect the monarchy from ever being overthrown:
Zeta Branch: Religious & spiritual control.
Delta Branch: Robotic enforcers and AI tacticians.
Gamma Branch: Warrior Mech branch aka machine fighters.
He instituted the Annual Selection, a brutal population control event. Each year, Zoners and animals were "offered" to sky-dwelling Barrakudos. These monstrous entities would devour the chosen victims, sparing the island—at a horrific price.
III. Artificial Resources & Life in the Sky
To survive, the Gamma Branch funded scientists to create Converter Machines that could transform junk, bottle caps, pebbles, plastics, into edible food. For Zoners, this synthetic food became the norm.
Zoners and cyborg citizens alike drink Green Water, a processed liquid adapted for sky life. Only the inner circles of the Royal Family drink natural water, which is considered a luxury on Deer Point.
Despite these adaptations, a new threat emerged...
IV. The Rise of L-Strain and the Fall of Jiguzo
A dangerous bacteria strain known as EL began to spread throughout Deer Point. The King assembled a task force to contain the infection. Though they succeeded in pushing it back, 30% of Deer Point's land was lost to bacterial control.
Soon after, King Jiguzo himself was defeated by a new hero, Mr. Green.
