The next few bouts were good fights, fighters who were experienced and knew how to fight before a crowd. But also how to adapt to a stranger of an opponent.
The next one of their group to be pulled into the arena was Tera Nema. Her bout might have been the shortest of them all. A tank of a man rushed towards her; great sword raised. he must have seen her cloak and dagger thinking she was a close fighter. He was surprised when she pulled her wand from her holster and a barrage of arcane Mana struck him. he disappeared before the skill had even finished. Tera Nema moved on, before even taking a step inside the arena.
Three bouts and then Jazmel watched as Sadé appeared on his screen. She stood waiting, her armour well-polished and almost looked like it had been fashioned out of some sort of pearl.
Her opponent, to Jazmel’s shock was a titan. As big as Agnar had been, this man was hulking and large. clutching a shield and a spear, he looked ready for war.
Sadé drew her dagger and sabre and stepped forward, three tails appearing. So she was gaining the measure of her man. Jazmel was impressed, though his heart was thumping against his rib cage he wasn’t so silly to not know. That she was alright and nothing permanent could come from this battle.
Rowdy rage!
The man yelled and tucked behind his shield, he rushed in. His spear point stuck fast and much like a lance. But Sadé was ready for him, she dodged to the side and leapt into the air. Casting her skills about her and the arena.
Foxfire!
Lightning fall!
The fire scorched the ground and lightning rained down from above. Jazmel could see that the titan’s Mana was still quite high, somehow he was surviving the lightning barrage.
Shield of respite!
He called and a white light glowed from his shield, it began to reflect the bolts of lightning and Sadé had to dodge a few.
Thunder crown

She pulled thunder and lightning into a crown above her head and immediately. The lightning grew intense, even though his shield was reflecting strokes and streaks. The power was still absolute. Jazmel began to imagine what he would do in this man’s place. It was likely that he or his friends might fight one another soon.
The man rushed forward; he hurled his spear. It shot from his hand and gathered wind and thunder as it rushed towards Sadé. She had to dodge it and when she did, it pierced the side of the arena with a large and loud bang.
The man raised his hand and Jazmel noticed a ring on his finger that glimmered with Mana. the spear wavered and then staggered from where it had struck. Before turning and rushing back to the man’s open hand. Sadé had almost been run through, but the crowd’s shout had drawn her attention. She pulled another tail out and she used this Mana to enhance her bodily function and speed. She danced through the spear jabs and stabs.
She slashed and struck with her own swords. The titan had a stout guard, only nicks and fine strikes seemed to be getting through. His vitality was clearly high, his stamina too. But thanks to Sadé’s tempered body, maybe her being half elven too. Her dexterity and speed was unbelievable. She almost floated across the ground. But it wasn’t just that, she was dexterous, her hand eye coordination was infallible. She was picking him apart with speed and technique.
Titanic blood!
The titan yelled and his bronzed skin, took on a red tinge. He was burning his blood to increase his strength, he tried to grab Sadé, but she took off his hand, she slashed his wrist with her dagger and then with her sabre she carved through the bone.
But the titan was barely stunned by the loss of his hand. He struck her with the stump and knocked her off her feet. She flew a few yards back, but when she right herself the titan was burning his blood and using the extra Mana to reattach his hand.
Thunderfire!
Foxfire!
Sadé darted forward, she leapt in between the barrage of her skills, the fire and flames surrounding them both. Jazmel couldn’t see through the flames as they engulfed them both. After all, they were formed through Mana, he watched as a great wall of fire combusted.
When the flames dwindled, and the wind cleared the view of the arena. Sadé was hunched over bleeding from several wounds. She had reduced her tails down to two. The man had lost his hand again and also half his arm.
He motioned for his spear to come again and when he called it, it spun as it tried to pierce through the back of Sadé. She had expected it, she back flipped over it. Sadé watched as the spear hurtled towards its owner.
Thunderfire!
She cast her skill again, now the titan had to pick. Be struck by his own spear or her skill. When he realised his predicament he laughed and simply raised his hand. Letting both skill and spear strike him. he burned and disappeared in a red glimmer of Mana. whereas Sadé ascended in a gold flash.
Her fight had been taxing but she had overcome it well, Jazmel nodded in admiration for her. She would be a tough opponent for anyone.
