Tokyo
2032 January 24th
Nakamura stood atop a rooftop, wearing a long brown jacket that reached to his knees, a black shirt underneath and jeans that fit tightly around his legs.
“I have to look good for Erebus’s funeral after all”.
His skin began to melt as his face changed to match Shinji’s, his face as smooth and pretty as an angel and his hair was pitch black.
Ananke stood behind him leaning against a concrete wall, her face calm and staring straight into his eyes.
“There is a thin line between good and bad, even taking the life of others can easily be justified, what point does one human life have when they kill thousands of micro organisms with every step they take, who are they to put a worth of an organism’s life”?
Nakamura looked back at her.
“Why the hell are you spouting some philosophical shit”?
Ananke narrowed her eyes, as she took a deep sigh as she cracked her fingers.
“Erebus is misguided, you are nothing but pure garbage of a person”.
She stared down at him as her eyes glowed bright blue.
“You are a coward, hiding behind the powers of others, yet you use the body of others for your own domination”.
Nakamura pressed his finger onto her neck, as he began to strangle her, his eyes glowed a crimson as it pierced into her like a bunch of sharp needles.
“Ananke, I believe that’s enough of your rambling, I don’t like others teaching me things”.
Ananke spoke in calm intervals as she struggled to speak and held his hand.
“Is this supposed to threaten me? You know killing me like this won’t kill my soul, all you are going to achieve is one less soldier you can use”.
Nakamura softened his grip on her neck as he left her go as she fell down onto the ground as she began to rapidly cough.
Nakamura looked at his watch as the winds began to get stronger.
“He should be here for the duel about now”.
He stared at the clouds above him as she sun shone brightly on his skin.
He grabbed leather gloves from his pockets, a green orb was in the center of the glove as it glistened in the sunlight.
Nakamura slipped them on as he stretched his arms.
“Everything has gone my way so far, I hope Erebus isn’t too strong, I’ve prepared quite a lot just in case, going without any preparations leads someone to their death”.
The sky began to fade, replaced by black itself, the sun didn’t begin to set, it had completely faded from view, the light began to fade and disappear replaced by darkness.
The strong winds began to settle down into a cold and sharp breeze.
Nakamura smiled.
“He’s here”.
Athena’s legs began to shake as the light above her began to shake and shutter, electricity began to crackle as she stared up at the ceiling.
Yuki’s eyes widened, as she began to shake.
“It’s all over isn’t it? They’re going to fight, the world is going to end”.
Tartarus calmly looked at the girl.
“You have me, Kronos and our eldest brother Phanes at your side, we’re all primordials you know? Me personally, I have been itching for a battle, this is one of the few planets that contain life, I wouldn’t let this planet go to waste”.
Kronos clicked his tongue as he stared pathetically at the girl.

“You humans, at least Shinji was kind of interesting”.
Jaclyn, Athena, Yuki, Asami, Ying Xin and the rest of the gods on their side began to watch through a camera.
Ananke held a camera in her hand as she calmly asked them.
“Does this mechanical device really transmit images from far away? This is beyond me what kind of technology you humans conjure up these days”.
A familiar face stood in front of Nakamura, a dark and foreboding character that had wisps of smoke emanating behind him, his blue eyes reminiscent of the gods shining through the darkness.
He stood on a roof top parallel to Nakamura, his build was slim and seemed weak but his eyes were sharp like he was staring straight into Nakamura’s soul.
The air around him collapsed as his mere presence shattered reality around him.
“I’m going to kill you”.
His voice echoed throughout the entire city as he stared daggers into Nakamura.
Nakamura wiped away the sweat on his cheek as a grin spread across his face.
“I’m excited… I’m absolutely fired up”.
Erebus began to float down slowly towards Nakamura as he walked on air like it was a solid object.
With one wave of Erebus’s hand, space began to crackle and shatter as half of Nakamura’s face blew away.
Nakamura bit his lips as blood seeped down, within an instant the injury that Erebus had placed onto him had immediately healed.
“Erebus, you are the victim here”.
Yuki stared blankly through the screen.
“I thought Erebus’s power was the ability to control darkness, how in the world did he do that”!?
Athena held her chin as her eyes slightly widened.
“Darkness is the absence of light, he’s using light rays like a blade, cutting Nakamura in half”.
Nakamura smiled at Erebus getting closer to his face.
“I don’t want to cause too much damage because it’ll be expensive when I eventually rule over this place”.
Nakamura launched an extremely aggressive attack towards Erebus’s face as he kept narrowing dodging every single blow, each punch destroying the environment around them.
Erebus waved his fingers as constructs made from darkness shot towards Nakamura faster than he could react.
“Fuck”.
The shockwave sent him flying through a building coming out the other side as he stumbled into an open street.
Nakamura’s cheek was bleeding as he laid in an empty street, the lampposts began to flicker as he stood back up, calmly healing all his injuries.
“I can go on forever but you sure can’t, Erebus, eventually you will go down”.
Erebus instantly appeared in front of him, kicking him into the ground as dirt began to fill Nakamura’s mouth.
“Ahaha”.
His body began to melt into a goo like substance as he crawled up Erebus’s body, and remanifested at the top, pointing his finger towards Erebus’s face.
The air began to surround his fingertip, slowly forming into a small and dense ball of gas, as it shot towards Erebus, shooting him into the sky, but Erebus managed to catch himself before he got any farther.
Erebus stared at him with a calm demeanor, his eyes emotionless like he was squashing a bug.
“You are nothing, you are worthless, you should remember that, but I can still use your body”.
Nakamura gripped his fingers as Erebus felt an invisible pair of hands grab him and slam him straight into a nearby wall.
Nakamura smiled as the entire building began to lift up into the sky, Erebus’s eyes widened as he felt the ground beneath him getting farther and farther away as he reached towards the skies.
With a large explosion, Erebus came crashing down as darkness began to encase him, forming large demon like wings behind him.
“Kill yourself”.
Erebus waved his hand as shards of darkness dashed towards Nakamura’s head, but he managed to dodge it without looking.
“Huh? Mighty Erebus? You’re missing your shots”.
The building behind him began to lose its pillars crumbling onto Nakamura as the glass pierced through him as the both of them entered through the window.
Gravity began to slow down as the building started to float in midair, Nakamura grabbed a nearby electric lamp as energy began to gather into the device, charging it full of electricity as it shot out hitting Erebus square in the jaw.
“Cheap shot, Nakamura”.
“That’s my entire character, I play desperate”.
“Since I dragged you into this building, there’s no where for you to run”.
Erebus extended his arm as shards of darkness pierced straight through Nakamura’s entire body, piercing him like a kebab.
Nakamura smiled even with a shard stuck in his head.
“Why even try Erebus? You can’t kill me”.
Nakamura’s gloves began to glow as a glow of white light flashed from his fingertips.
Erebus’s eyes widened, as he immediately dashed into a nearby room before the rays of light hit him.
“What’s wrong with Erebus”?
Jaclyn stared blankly through the screen as she chewed on her sandwich.
“He’s scared of a glove”?
“Those gloves have the power of Aether, Erebus’s son and the god of light, Light is the only thing that can beat darkness”.
Phanes replied standing in the corner as he crossed his arms.
“How in the world did he get his power into those gloves, that doesn’t even sound possible”.
Yuki questioned as she stared at him with a confused expression.
Phanes narrowed his eyes as he stared at the gloves on Nakamura’s wrist through the screen, they were glowing white.
“When I fought Aether, it felt like he wasn’t at his full strength, what I’m guessing is that those gloves have a part of him, probably in those orbs”.
“How the hell is Erebus going to counter that”?
Yuki exclaimed.
“He will, he might not be the brightest but his true intelligence comes in battle, no one can outmatch him”.
Kronos’s eyes widened as a smile spread across his face.
“Not even Nakamura’s intellect can surprise him in battle”.
Jaclyn finished her sandwich as she immediately questioned.
“Why the hell aren’t they using their ultimates yet”?
Athena immediately replied.
“They’re both strong enough to rip an ultimate’s barrier in half, using them without proper timing would only lead them with less energy reserves”.
“But Nakamura has multiple ultimates, he has Shinji’s body after all, didn’t he have the nuke that had an extremely large range? I doubt Erebus could outrun that”.
“Didn’t you hear what Nakamura said earlier in the fight”? Athena questioned. “He said that it would be a pain to rebuild the city, he wants to cause minimal damage, he’ll only use it as his final resort”.
“That kid is using Shinji’s body better than I thought, Erebus definitely saw his potential but too bad he was betrayed”. Kronos held his chin.
“That kid made so much use of such a useless ability yet you give him Shinji’s body, he’s basically a god now”.
Nakamura’s hands began to glow extremely brightly, encasing the entire building in a shine of light, as the building bursted into a ball of pure light, imitating the glows of the sun.
“Erebus! How does it feel to finally be on your knees”?
Erebus’s skin was burnt as if he was completely toasted from fire, as he stood back up calmly, his blue eyes glowing the darkness.
The burns sizzled like food on a hot pan, the air around him began to slightly shake, with a wave of his hand, Erebus’s injuries immediately healed.
“What could you possibly be talking about”?
A beam of light shot through Nakamura’s neck, slightly severing his ties with the body, as the body began to act on its own separate from Nakamura’s thoughts.
“You take over other’s body yet you claim their power and call it your own”.
A blue dagger manifested in Erebus’s hand as he got closer to Nakamura, slicing Nakamura’s soul in half.
