“Athena, who do you think is the strongest”?
“Choosing between Erebus and Shinji is quite a difficult decision don’t you think so , Neila? Well I choose Shinji, I did hear that he managed to beat Poseidon while having restrictions on him, that’s something even Erebus can’t manage”.
“Kronos, who do you think is the strongest”?
“Boy, are you kidding me? It’s Erebus, but that human boy, Shinji is a close contender surprisingly, if he managed to play his cards properly even Erebus might go down”.
“Even if you’re still an ally, I still despise you”.
Kronos began to laugh.
“Boy, you think you’re worth anything? Be glad I’m even entertaining your question”.
“Tartarus, who’s the strongest”?
“Such foolishness, how do you not know the strength of my oldest brother, Erebus”?
“Apollo, who do you think is the strongest”?
“There’s no point in me answering whatever you have to say, you human”.
“Answer the damn question, Apollo”.
He sighed.
“It’s lord Erebus, the only person that comes close is lord Kronos”.
“Asami Ito, who do you think is the strongest”?
Asami tapped her finger on the desk as her mind began to wander.
“As much as I hate his childishness, Shinji is the strongest, even when compared to the Demon King”.
“Hestia, who’s the strongest”?
Hestia’s voice was monotonous and robotic as she spoke.
“That surely is an interesting topic to discuss, that human, Shinji with all his abilities is a great contender for the title but I’ll have to give it to Erebus”.
“Nerissa, who do you think is the strongest”?
Nerissa huddled in the corner, still mourning the loss of his brother, as he spoke with a teary eyed expression.
“I-I, I don’t care, nothing matters at this point, why couldn’t Shinji save him? Why didn’t Shinji come quicker”?
“Jaclyn, who’s the strongest”?
She sat down in a steel foldable chair, her feet on the table and a lollipop in her mouth, her eyes pierced into him as she spoke in a gentle yet confident tone.
“Probably Shinji or the Demon King, Shinji can probably win if he’s crafty enough though”.
“Ying Xin, who do you think is the strongest”?
Her eyes lit up like lightbulbs as she jumped up from her seat.
“What is this? Like an interview? It has to be Shinji right? There’s no one else stronger than him, even Zhao lost to someone weaker than him”!

“Yuki, who do you think is the strongest”?
“Am I really someone you should ask Neila? I can barely pay attention to whatever is happening around me. Well I’ve seen Demon King Erebus with my own eyes, it’s probably him”.
“Sayori Ito, who do you think is the strongest”?
“Uhh, hmm, I’ve never even met the Demon King myself so it’s probably Shinji then”.
“Umm, who are you”?
It was a young man with a gentle and kind smile on his face, he was a handsome and athletic man with curly golden brown hair. His eyes were hazel like the sun, he had a red scarf around his neck and a white hoodie with black pants.
“I’m Perseus, miss Athena said something about needing my help to defeat Erebus”. He adjusted the scarf around his neck.
“I’m only repaying a debt to her”.
Neila stared at him with an amused expression.
“Perseus? The first King of Mycenae and the slayer of Medusa? I’ve heard you before from the books of old, what makes you so sure that Erebus can even be beat in the first place? You know he’s not a Gorgon right”?
“Um, who are you to judge”?
Perseus raised an eyebrow.
Athena appeared in the corner of the room, with a long sword to the side of her hip and a shield next to her ankle.
“Stop poking fun at him Neila”.
“Well hello there, fellow Gods”.
His presence couldn’t even be felt by Athena, it was as if he was blending into his surroundings.
His eyes glowed a dim light of godly blue, as he crossed his arms and leaned against the concrete wall.
His breathing was at a standstill, he had no sign of body heat or any sign of his breath.
Athena stared back at the man before her with a calm stare.
“I can tell that you’re a God just by the control you have over your energy but I have no clue who you are”.
The man walked forwards confidently, with one hand leaned on the wall.
“Phanes, the God of Beginnings, that’s who I am”.
Athena shook her head.
“I have no clue who you are, I’ve never even heard of you”.
Perseus walked forwards, with one hand behind his head.
“Phanes? Why would a creator God be here”?
Phanes smirked a tiny bit.
“I have arrived to help you defeat Erebus, be glad that I have descended”.
Neila calmly nodded.
“I let him in, he’ll probably be of use, the only thing he wants is most likely just attention, there’s a low chance of him betraying us, I can tell”.
Athena squinted her eyes.
“I’m not so sure about that”.
Phanes slightly stumbled backwards.
“A-Attention? Why would I ever need that? I already have enough attention as a creator God should, I don’t need something as trivial as that”.
Athena squinted her eyes even further.
“Hmm, Neila maybe you’re right about the attention seeking thing”. She turned her attention back to Neila. “So what we’re dealing with here is Nakamura and three other gods by his side, since their energies are muddled together we can’t tell who they are but comparing their energy outputs, Shinji can deal with them, all we need to deal with is Nakamura himself”.
Neila crossed his arms.
“Nakamura is never alone by himself, he’s usually occupied with other demons too”.
Athena took out a pen.
“That’s why we’ll have a small group to deal with Nakamura, 3 people should go to make sure not to alert him and the rest should deal with the rest of the demons”.
Perseus raised a hand.
“I can go, I’ll try to find a use for myself somehow”.
Athena held her chin.
“Hmm, sure why not? Neila go with him too, your time reversal counters Nakamura’s regeneration, you’re the main force”. She put her arms on the desk.
“Phanes, can you go”?
“Who are we fighting? If it isn’t Erebus then I won’t be able to extend my help”. Phanes looked around the room. “Uh because I-I have an illness that doesn’t allow me to participate in battles where Erebus~ isn’t involved in”.
Athena put one hand on her hip as she stared at him.
“Whatever, clearly he doesn’t want to fight Erebus’s top fighter, the number 2 and the most famous of Erebus’s subordinates”.
Phanes immediately stood up. “You know what? I believe I have changed my mind upon this matter, I would like to participate in the following battle”.
Athena smirked.
“Good boy”.
Neila audibly recoiled at the sound of Athena, his face shifting into an uncomfortable expression.
Perseus stared at the two of them.
“Isn’t asking a creator god to assist in a fight against one demon overkill”?
Athena nodded.
“Yea, but we have to take precautions, we don’t know what he’s planning, he’s quite tricky after all”.
Phanes looked at her with a confused expression.
“Why not ask any of the other Gods to do it”?
“Tartarus being a bitch, only said he’d fight Erebus in his divine contract and someone like Kronos is too difficult to control”. Athena replied. “And the rest, Hestia and the rest only want to fight Erebus”.
“The most annoying part of him is his duplication, what makes you so sure you can put him down for good”?
Neila questioned.
Athena threw a brilliant and beautiful red dagger towards him, one adorned with jewels and emanated the power strong enough to put a God down.
“I made a copy of Red Berserker, it has less power than Erebus’s original copy so you’ll have to hit Nakamura about 5 to 6 times before he completely perishes, handle it well, it was a pain to make one”.
Neila held the dagger in his hand.
“You’re asking me to use it? Anastasia wouldn’t even let me touch the original”.
He spun the large dagger in his hand, admiring it even if it was a copy, it still had the power to completely cut through anything physical.
Athena sat down and spun around in her chair.
“Well I mean, I trust that you’ll do it, don’t lose it, I need data on how to counter Erebus’s original copy too”. An idea came through her mind. “Speaking of the dagger, can you call Tartarus in? And get ready for the mission, it’ll be on 2 days”.
Neila looked at her with a blank expression.
“What did he even do this time? And how did you find him”?
“Using the locations of the current chaos, I pinpointed his location to Shinjuku, where the Gods are rampaging the least”.
Neila adjusted his hair.
“Fine, I’ll get ready for the mission”.
