5 minutes before Emilia jumped
Emilia wasn’t stupid, but this was definitely not her smartest idea, after being grabbed by the angel forced through the door, her chains were given to the man that had brought her to the lab and made her drink that liquid that turned her into whatever she was now, the man looked pissed, like really angry, like her father when she tried to escape her room when being grounded.
“Not only did you survive, but you also manage to somehow escape the collar I personally made to contain mutants like you are now, after all, I hear no heartbeat within your chest” The man looked at her with his brown eyes like she just tried to kill the king and his whole family. “Looks like I will have to teach you to fear me, after all, your face is calm for your current situation, I mean, have you seen where you are?” he said with an amused tone.
Honestly, she hadn’t checked around her ever since she entered, she just saw dozens of people around her and that was it, she hadn’t really thought about looking around her, she just knew she was in the open because she was almost blinded changing from the dark lab to the outside like nothing.
She looked around, first she noticed how high in the air she was, she felt dizzy just looking down, she was never a fan of the heights, next she noticed this place didn’t look natural at all, the sky was real, but fake, she couldn’t explain it, but it felt kind of weird to look at, but the other people didn’t seem to notice, yeah they were all with their heads down looking at the landscape, but at least 1 had to look at the sky once, right?
She decided to look at the landscape below her, the one everyone was looking at, to erase the feeling of the probably fake sky.
The place was definitely not natural, it was divided perfectly in 4 zones, a desert that Emilia couldn’t see when it ended, she could see some animals, or monsters, that high p she couldn’t really tell.
Right next to it was a snowy mountain that was high enough to be at the same level as the invisible platform they were all standing on, it was so cold that she saw some monsters using water just for said water to freeze the moment it left the monster’s body.
Then it was an ocean, just like the desert, Emilia couldn’t see the end to it, she also couldn’t see any of the monsters in the place, but with the other 2 places in mind, she could guess that ocean was really deep, and monsters in the deep of any kind of ocean aren’t friendly.
Finally, it was a jungle, it looked peace full, if you took the noises that were coming from inside, the trees were huge, not as big as the mountain, clearly, but still big, she saw something moving in between the trees, she couldn’t make out what it was, but it had stripes, and strangely the jungle was almost drowned in a black liquid, like a quarter of that place was full of the black liquid.
She felt a little overwhelmed with the sheer number of monsters she saw in the mountains and the desert, she guessed the other 2 sides weren’t that different in quantity.
A pocket space
That was the only conclusion she could gather from what she knew.
How does he keep this number of monsters here? Hadn’t they tried to escape? But if it is indeed a pocket space, then the only escape is this door behind me…
“Did you finish looking around?” she nodded “Good, now I’ll tell you what you are going to do…” he looked surprised, everyone around her looked surprised, after all she had just touched her chains and they disappeared.
Just 1%?
She would ask the system about that later, now she decided she was going to escape, she started a sprint to the farthest she could go from him, the nearest biome but farthest from the man was the jungle, she started running but suddenly out of nowhere, the floor stopped expanding.
Emilia had thought it extended without limit across this fake world, well it didn’t, and now she was free falling from God’s knows how high to the jungle.
Jaul didn’t know how to react, the woman the half angel had captured had survived the changed blood, was able to escape from his collar and disintegrated the magic that was holding her with a single touch.
What kind of monster have I created?!
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
This experience reminded him of the other girl he had captured a couple of months ago, the one he had turned into a half dragon or something like that, when he identified her, he wasn’t able to believe what he saw, first, a commoner girl had a last name, that was believable, maybe a offspring of a concubine of a noble, or just a runaway noble, but the last name was what surprised him, that and the message he got with her name, because only that appeared.
The last name “Noulan” wasn’t anything special for normal people, but the ones that know the history of thousands of years ago, know that the last name of the first monster lord.
The Red Horn, Kraig Noulan.
And the message? well it said "Don't Touch Her"
She was connected to that beast, he had to kill her, but he couldn’t, he made her so she couldn’t die, so he could only seal her in hope she disappears in the stomach of some random beast.
Now, he had to seal somehow a woman that could disintegrate everything she touches.
Or well, he HAD.
The woman for some reason, when she got her freedom, she didn’t run towards the exit no, she run to the corner of the platform and started falling from at least a kilometer, she was for sure damned, he was about to start talking to the other subjects he had before he felt a familiar presence getting near the place the woman was falling on.
He turned his head, and there she was, her aura had changed, it wasn’t the similar hate surrounded with corruption, it was a fusion of both, her corruption was hateful, that’s why he had thought she had died, but no, she survived, and looking back at the trees she come from he saw the tiger he almost lost his life to when he tried to capture it, but the tiger had corruption on it’s tail now, and in the bottom of one of it’s paw’s, it was hard to see the latter, but he was able to see it because said tiger was lifting it so it didn’t touch the ground.
He was angry, he had specifically send the woman to the jungle because he knew the tiger would kill her, but now they were working together or something, he was tempted to jump down there and kill the 3 of them in a instance, but the other humans after seeing the girl technically escape were seeing the exit door with hopeful eyes, if he was to jump down to kill them, they could all escape, only the collar he used in the fractured woman was able to contain orders for long and from distance, but if he was to jump down there, all the orders he gave to his subjects would dissapear
Shit! That fucking not human sluggish lizard! If it wasn’t because of her, I wouldn’t have these stupid headaches! My plans for the tower would have started a long time ago if it wasn’t for her!
He was squeezing his hand so hard that his knuckles were turning white and blood was coming out of his palm, he also bit his lips so hard that they were also bleeding, he couldn’t just close the door, it wasn’t designed to open from the inside.
“Fuck it…” he turned to the subjects and ordered them to go back, he was going to continue with his plan soon, this was just a little delay for him, after all he was the genius Jaul Lefon, the one that promised to master the void and tame the corruption, as he was going back into the door, he turned his head back to 2 girls and the tiger, the lizard was able to catch the young one in time, he bit his lips again, and entered the door.
Moments before Iko catches Emilia
“Shit, she’s falling!” she turned her head to the kin- queen of the jungle “Let me go I can’t let her die!”
“Oh? I didn’t know you were so soft heart, you killed all those monsters with such an empty face, I thought you lost all your emotions a while back!” Said the queen laughing.
“I couldn’t care less if it was another person, but she most definitely want’s revenge on Jaul! I can use her, so MY revenge is easier!” Yelled Iko.
The tiger stood there watching the so-called dragon for a while, she was kind of confused, didn’t she say she was once human not long ago? Normally humans tried protecting their fellow kin, or they were just egoists and let them die, but Iko looked more like the one that would constantly try to protect other people, knowing them or not, but she was going to save her just so her vengeance would be a little easier? Did becoming a dragon change her views that much? Or was she always like that? Rakikas had no say in how the lizard wanted her revenge, but before she would let her go, she had 1 question to ask.
“Why is my paw covered in the filthy energy you call corruption?” she said while lifting her paw and wincing in pain.
“Oh, that’s because my clothes will corrupt anything they touch” said Iko with complete seriousness, while scratching her horn like nothing, surprisingly she could move to scratch her horn but nothing else.
The tiger sighed “Just go save her, then you are going to try to eliminate this pest from my body” suddenly all the pressure around Iko disappeared, since her wings weren’t moving at all before she fell to the ground on her face, the tiger let out a small chuckle before Iko took flight again over to the girl, if she could use her well, her revenge on the bastard of Jaul would be a lot easier, and maybe she could even convince her to kill Folkur together! That way her revenge on the true bastard that started this would be sooner that later, she could already imagine it, Folkur and Jaul, both in the ground, dismembered, screaming in agony as she broke their fingers and then pierced their eyes with them, and every now and then, she would give them her blood so they wouldn’t die, but the regeneration wouldn’t be painless, she would make so the blood on their veins made it hurt while they regenerated.
She could feel her cheeks reddening, she could feel her tongue on her mouth begging to taste the blood of both of them, and she was sure she looked like a psycho right now, but she didn’t care.
As Iko miraculously was able to get to the woman in time, the woman just looked up and looked at her, then screamed with all her might, almost making Iko drop her from the surprise of the scream.
“Fucking hell this is how you treat someone that helped you?! I should have let you drop dead!” screamed Iko at the woman who was still in shock, but what Iko didn’t know, was that that reaction was normal, after all, those that weren’t accustomed to the corruption or had divine energy, when looking at Iko they would only see a cloud of black mist with a sinister white smile inside.
As Iko got back to were Rakikas was, because even if she was still mad with her, Rainari was still there, and maybe the woman would stop screaming if she saw a more approachable figure, she didn’t know if the tiger would look a lot better but was her only bet because her ears were hurting already.
As she landed and throwed the woman to the ground, the woman jumped immediately at Rakikas and said something that made Iko kind of mad.
“This one is cute! The other one is scary!”
What are you?! 12?!
