(The Slow Ahead part of the arc will mostly feature Team Destroyers, with a little bit of Alicorn. Also I think Alicorn's theme for the next Arc, Which I'm gonna call it "Trio of Monster Sisters", will be Malenia, Bde of Miquel.)

  The sun barely peeks over the horizon and shines on the water of the Azur Lane Base. A rge bck submarine and an aircraft carrier sail out of the docks and away from base as a Eagle and Robotic Eagle fly after them.

  Over at the Academy Dorms inside a room we have four young ships, all sleeping in different beds.

  One with pink hair is snoring loudly as she sleeps in an awkward position. Her name is Echo.

  "Heheh, candy~" Echo rolls over and nearly falls off the bed.

  In the next bed is a white haired girl sleeping in a peaceful way. Her name is Belchan, the younger sister of Belfast.

  In the next bed is the smallest of the group, and is also curled into a ball on top of her sheets. Her name is Kalk.

  Then the st is our oldest member, Hobby. Who's head is under her pillow.

  Together these four make Team Destroyers, even though Belchan is a Light Cruiser. The four peacefully sleep, though Echo's loud snoring, as the sun starts to shine into the room.

  Suddenly an arm rings out, casuing Echo to whine, Kalk to to shuffle around and go deeper under her covers and Hobby to whine.

  Belchan sits up and starts to rub her eyes.

  "Turn it oooooofffffff!" Echo whines.

  "Hobby's to tired~" Hobby whines.

  Kalk whines under the covers.

  "Girls, it is time to get up." Belchan states as she reaches over and turns off the arm on her nightstand.

  The three others whine and slowly climb out of bed as Belchan goes to the bathroom attached to their room. Echo whines loudly and rolls out of bed and onto the floor.

  Kalk yawns as she slides out of bed, and rubs her eyes with her over sized sleeves. Hobby climbs out of bed and walks over to Kalk and leans on her.

  "Hobby's tired." She whines.

  "Me too." Kalk agrees with Hobby.

  Hobby wraps her arms around Kalk and rests her head on Kalk's shoulders.

  Echo slowly gets off the floor and lets out a loud yawn. "Why do we have to get up so early today?"

  Belchan walks out of the bathroom, wearing her usual clothes. "We have patrol again."

  The three others perk up and gnce over at Belchan.

  "Really?" Echo asks as her eyes light up and the tiredness seemingly disappears.

  Belchan nods. "Yes, did you guys forget?"

  "Ehhehehe." Kalk nervously chuckles and rubs the back of her head.

  "Of course not." Hobby states.

  "Let's-" Echo takes a deep breath. "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

  In the cafeteria Team destroyers are eating their breakfast. Belchan is slowly eating with much etiquette. Kalk and Hobby happily eat as they talk to each other, but then there's Echo.

  Echo is shoving food into her mouth, to the point she starts choking. Belchan hits Echo on the back and a sausage flies out of Echo's mouth and onto the middle of the table.

  Everyone stays silent for a few moments.

  "Ewwwww!" Kalk whines.

  "Echo, so disgusting." Hobby states.

  Echo starts to blush. "Shut up!"

  Belchan sighs and rubs her forehead. "Echo, please eat slowly. We still have a couple hours until our patrol."

  Echo huffs. "I can eat how ever fast I want.... I might just be a little excited."

  Belchan just shakes her head.

  A seagull stands on a rock and caws a few times.

  "Prepare for trouble!" Hobby is heard.

  "Make it double!" Kalk is heard.

  The seagull turns to the side to see Hobby and Kalk with their backs turn to it and both have a fist up. Then they turn to the seagull.

  "To protect the world from devastation!" Hobby shouts.

  "To unite all people within our nation!" Kalk shouts.

  Hobby throws her hand out. "To denounce the evil of truth and love."

  Kalk throws her hand out. "To extend our reach to the stars above..."

  "Hobby!"

  "Kalk!"

  Echo and Belchan walk over and stop between the two. Echo holds her arms up. Belchan does a curtsy.

  "Team Destroyers bst off at the speed of light." Hobby says.

  "Surrender now or prepare to fight!" Kalk says.

  "Yup, that's right!" Echo yells.

  "I'm here too!" Belchan smiles.

  The seagull caws and flies away.

  After a few seconds the four get out of their posses.

  Echo hunches over and whines. "This suuuuuucks!"

  The four ships continue skating on the water around the Azur ne base.

  "This isn't patrolling!" Echo shouts in anger.

  "Yeah, why can't we go on a real patrol?" Kalk asks as she fps her arms.

  "Hobby agrees." Hobby says.

  Belchan gnces back at her freinds. "You guys remember what happened the st time we went on a real patrol?" She rubs the small scar above her left eye.

  The three others have fsh backs

  "What is that thing?!" Echo yells in fear.

  "Hobby doesn't know, but she's scared!" Hobby yells.

  "Don't let fear cloud your thoughts, fire at it!" Belchan yells.

  All five ships begin to fire their AA guns onto the approaching Drones. Alicorn fires off her missiles and rail guns up into the air. A few Dougs pnes are brought onto her deck and she unches them.

  "I should have asked to bring my jets." Alicorn grunts as a few drones fire onto her sub, but their machine guns do very little damage.

  Alicorn's missiles and rail gun round sm into the Arsenal Bird, doming some damage but not much. Alicorn growls and fires off more rounds. The Arsenal Bird unches its own missiles as it turns towards Alicorn.

  "There's so many!" Kalk screams as a few missiles nd in the water near her and she protects her face as water rains down onto her.

  "Just keep firing!" Hobby yells.

  A few ser rounds fly past the ships and they look to their side and see a rge fleet of Siren ships sailing towards them. 30-50 Siren ships sail towards them.

  "That's a lot of ships." Belchan says in fear.

  Alicorn fires her missiles and railguns.

  Alicorn looks to the four scared ships then back up to the Arsenal Bird that's nearly above her. "I can get us out of here." She turns to the little girls. "Girls! Get in, we're are leaving!"

  The four girls look to Alicorn and she can see the fear in their eyes. "Girls it's gonna be okay, I can protect you all." She grunts in pain as a few more missiles sm into the side of her sub and a few sers graze her hull. "I just need you to trust me."

  "All right, come on girls!" Belchan yells.

  "Right." The three others reply.

  All four younger ships make their ships disappear and get their rigging and they run towards Alicorn as missiles rain down from above.

  "Kalk, look out!" Echo yells.

  "Huh?" Kalk looks to the side, only for a missile to sm into her and she yells out in pain.

  "Kalk!" The three others yell and run over to her.

  Kalk is still standing, but a few small fires break out on her rigging and one of her main cannons falls apart.

  Alicorn growls in anger and fires all her rounds at the Arsenal Bird and the incoming Siren fleet. Alicorn looks up to the Arsenal Bird, which is right above her, and she sees a purple glow from the nose of the flying fortress

  "What the?" Alicorn questions.

  Suddenly the Arsenal Bird fires a ser down onto Alicorn and it sms into the back of her sub, creating a rge explosion. Alicorn yells out in pain and she falls over.

  "Alicorn!" Team Destroyers yell in fear and worry.

  Alicorn grunts and coughs as she stands up. "Come on! Let's go!"

  The four girls jump onto Alicorn's sub as missiles and sers sm into her hull. Alicorn grunts as her weapons non-stop fire on anything approaching the sub. Alicorn stumbles a little as she gets the four girls into the sub and she follows soon after.

  The five girls get into the control center of the sub as it begins to dive. Alicorn grunts and stumbles into the Captain's seat and she sits down.

  Kalk holds her arm in pain and Hobby checks her over.

  "Are you okay, Miss Alicorn?" Hobby asks in worry.

  Alicorn takes a deep breath. "I'm fine." Her eyes begin to flutter. "Just need a small nap."

  "Oh, don't close your eyes, Alicorn!" Echo shouts. "Keep them open and tell us what to do."

  "Just a small nap." Alicorn shuts her eyes and she leans back into her chair.

  ---

  Kalk, Hobby and Echo all shiver. "Yeeeaaaaahhh..."

  "I'm so gd that thing is gone." Echo states.

  "But that was nearly a year ago." Kalk informs. "So it should be safer now."

  The four ships start to sail towards the docks of the base.

  "We don't know that." Belchan states. "The Siren's might have been quiet for a while, but you know that means they're pnning something."

  "I guess you're right." Echo mumbles. "Every time they went quiet, they brought something big in."

  "Well, Alicorn can take it down again!" Kalk smiles and fps her arms. "She's so strong and amazing, especially now with her upgrades."

  "Hobby hopes we can one day become like her." She says.

  Everyone nods in agreement and they all reach the docks and summons their ships as they hop on nd.

  "We'll become strong like Alicorn!" Belchan holds up a fist.

  "Yeah!" The three others touch fists with Belchan.

  The sun shines on the base as it passes its peak. Team Destroyers are under a tree near the middle of the base.

  Belchan is writing in a notebook as she gnces at a textbook. Echo is sitting on a branch up in the tree as she pys with a tablet. Kalk and Hobby are sleeping on the grass in the shade of the tree, they are cuddling together.

  Belchan sighs and sets her notebook and pen down and looks up to the sunlight shining through the leaves of the tree. She lets out a yawn and leans up against the tree and closes her eyes.

  After a minute Belchan starts to softly snore as a soft breeze blows a few leaves past her.

  The sun starts to set and Alicorn and Enterprise sail into the docks. Alicorn hops off her sub and onto the dock. She then turns around and looks out to the setting sun casting an orange glow onto the waters.

  Enterprise nds behind Alicorn and walks over to her niece. "It's really pretty." She smiles as she looks out to the ocean.

  Alicorn nods. "It really is."

  "Alicorn!" Team Destroyers runs on the docks towards said sub.

  "I'll see you ter." Enterprise walks off and past the four child ships.

  Team Destroyers run up to Alicorn and smile. They all start talking together, then Belchan informs Alicorn.

  "We have everything prepared for the concert tonight." Belchan says.

  Alicorn smiles. "Ah, thank you girls. We'll give them the best performance they've ever seen."

  "Heh, you say that every time." Echo states.

  "Well, we do every time, don't we?"

  Echo nods. "I guess you're right."

  "Are you only gonna py one song tonight again?" Kalk asks.

  "Yes, I've only come up with one song right now." Alicorn informs.

  "So you have another in mind?" Hobby asks.

  Alicorn winks. "Maybe~"

  "Alicorn!" Team Destroyers whine.

  Alicorn giggles and pyfully sticks her tongue out.

  Lights shine down on a stage as Alicorn looks out to the massive crowd in front of it. Team Destroyers are behind her, getting their instruments ready.

  Alicorn gnces over at the crowd and sees many of her friends and family. She smiles and stretches a little and gnces back at the four girls behind and nods, they nod back.

  The four girls start pying their instruments as Alicorn grabs the microphone off it's stand.

  Alicorn starts to sing. "I couldn't wait for you to come clear the cupboards.But now you're going to leave with nothing but a signAnother evening I'll be sitting readingin between your lines.Because I miss you all the timeSo."

  Alicorn starts to dance a little.

  "Get awayAnother way to feelWhat you didn't want yourself to knowAnd let yourself go.You know you didn't lose your self controlLet's start at the rainbow.

  Turn awayAnother way to beWhere you didn't want yourself to goLet yourself go."

  Alicorn starts to sing with a synthesized voice.

  "Is that a compromiseSo what do you wanna doWhat's your point of view?There's a party soonDo you wanna go?

  A handshake with youWhat's your point of viewI'm on top of you I don't wanna go.

  Cause I really wanna stay at your houseAnd I hope this works outBut you know much you broke me apartI'm done with you, I'm ignoring youI don't wanna know."

  Alicorn goes quiet for a few seconds as the music continues and she stops dancing. Then returns her voice to normal and continues singing.

  "And I'm aware that you were lying in the gutterCause I did everything to be there by your side.Ahoooooh, Ahooooh.

  So when you tell me I'm the reasonI just can't believe the liesAnd why do I so want to call you? (Call you, call you, call you.)"

  Alicorn synthesizes her voice again as she sings.

  "So what do you wanna doWhat's your point of view?There's a party soon Do you wanna go?A handshake with youWhat's your point of viewI'm on top of youI don't wanna go.

  Cause I really wanna stay at your houseAnd I hope this works outBut you know much you broke me apartI'm done with you, I'm ignoring youI don't wanna know."

  Alicorn's voice then has an echo behind it.

  "Ohhhh....Oh oh oh ohI don't know why I'm no one."

  Alicorn's returns her voice to normal.

  "So get away another way to feel.What you didn't want yourself to knowAnd let yourself go.You know you didn't lose your self controlLet's start at the rainbow.

  Turn awayAnother way to beWhere you didn't want yourself to goLet yourself goIs that a compromise."

  Alicorn goes silent for a few seconds, then starts dancing as she synthesizes her voice.

  "So what do you wanna doWhat's your point of view?There's a party soonDo you wanna go?

  A hand shake with youWhat's your point of viewI'm on top of youI don't wanna go.

  Cause I really wanna stay at your houseAnd I hope this works outBut you know much you broke me apartI'm done with you, I'm ignoring youI don't wanna know."

  Alicorn sets the microphone back on the stand as the music cuts out. Everyone begins to cheer, making Alicorn smiles.

  Team Destroyers cheer as well.

  Moonlight shines into Team Destroyers room as they all prepare for bed.

  Kalk yawns and rubs her eyes as she climbs into her bed, and goes under her covers. Hobby reads a book as she ys in bed. Belchan is combing her hair as she sits on the side of her bed. Echo is ying the wrong way as she pys on a tablet.

  Belchan sets down her hairbrush and climbs under the covers and sets up an arm on the clock on her nightstand. "Okay girls, bed time."

  "Five more minutes!" Echo whines as she continues to tap on her tablet.

  "We have to get up early again, remember." Belchan says. "There's school tomorrow."

  Hobby yawns as she sets her book on her nightstand.

  Echo whines as she puts her tablet away. "I hate schooooool!"

  Belchan turns off the lights as Echo climbs under her covers. "Just go to bed already, some of us need the schooling."

  Echo huffs and ys her head on her pillow.

  "Goodnight." The four girls say together as everything goes quiet, except for the sounds of the ocean.
