Book 5 - The New Dawn Authors Note Collection

Chapter 1 - All Roads Lead to Corvanus

Yes, Verrucosis. Hortensus was definitely capable of overturning this situation. Absolutely. He only chose not to because he’s a cowardly two-timer who’s stabbing you in the back. It was purely his own, voluntary choice.

  Anyways!

Will Aedile Hortensus truly permit all this to occur? What shall become of the Northern Court? Will the Hero of Elteno face an awkward family reunion? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 2 - Family Reunion

Get out of here, Hero of Elteno. Seero best dad.

But well, 'tis to be expected. Who can compare to the Wise-Mighty-Gracious Great-Ultimate Boss-Empress? Can you even be a good dad if you haven’t created your own material plane? Basic dad stuff smh.

  Anyways!

Will Seero terminate the emotional distress? Will Ateia’s father get to explaining? Can he even start to compare to the Wise-Mighty-Gracious Great-Ultimate Boss-Empress-Dad? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 3 - The Hero's Tale

For those of you wondering (because the Patreon readers did), Taog will get his turn to talk to dad next.

Eh, part of me thought about doing a full flashback side-story arc of all this stuff instead of just talking about it...but that'd be, like, so much work, or something, and require me to write an action-romance story that I know ends in tragedy. Err...ahem, it would obviously take too much time away from Seero...who...um...didn't get a POV in this chapter anyways...um...

  Um...

Come on, I gotta save something for the edited version! Besides, we have, like, a war (that we already won) going on or something! (EDIT From the Future: ...whoops, editing me didn't do it either. But like, how many of you really wanted me to interrupt the war arc for Ateia backstory flashbacks?)

Besides, it's not like an NSLICE unit like Seero would have many opinions on father-daughter relationships. Wherever would you get that idea? So, you know, it makes sense she doesn't appear much in this conversation.

  Anyways!

Will Amulius reconcile with Ateia and Taog? Does Seero have any thoughts about all this? What of that war business? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 4 - The Boy Who Was Left Behind

Therapist Seero! Recommendation: Has the subject considered terminating the problem?

Oh, the problem’s like, Ateia’s dad or something. Fine, we’ll keep termination as Plan B then.

  Anyways!

Will Taog terminate the source of his distress? Can Amulius learn to trust a demon lord with his daughter? Will Seero develop her emotional distress termination protocols? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Interlude - The Eastern Front

Well that seems bad, but seems like the Legion got it covered, so I'm sure it will be fine.

  Anyways!

Will High-Arcon Vommik break through the Legion defenses? Will Nolnyth perish on the frontlines? What is the Herald planning now? Does any of this matter to anyone we care about? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 5 - The Fate of the Empire

Back to dungeon termination we go! I did plan for that to have a bigger role in the story before we got all involved with all that politics and emotions business. But well, that assumes my ‘plans’ are anything more detailed than a vague notion that is immediately disregarded by the characters involved!

But it’s fine! I can’t lose control of a story if I never had control of it to begin with! Wise-Mighty-Gracious Great-Ultimate Boss-Empress Seero is here to do whatever she wishes and I shall merely follow!

  Anyways!

Will Seero accept formal command of the Empire? Will Emperor Lucius have to start doing his job again? What is going on with the Imperial Family’s dungeon? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 6 - Terminate the Imperial Family's Dungeon?

Begun, the Dungeon Wars, have. Hope all the other dungeons got their Aesdes subordinates ready!

...this definitely isn't an backup war to the Elteno Civil War that Seero finished in like, a day or two! Twice, if we consider Caelinus's empire to have actually started by the time Seero terminated it.

...Seero might be a wee bit too good at terminating wars.

  Anyways!

Will the new subordinate dungeon master rethink her life? Will the Empire survive this latest crisis? Will Seero face a war that takes her longer than a day to terminate? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 7 - The Dungeon Crisis Begins!

You know, I had that whole Academy business, but Seero never got to blow their minds! It’s high time we terminate the mages’ self-confidence!

And look! It’s Nonus! That other friend I totally never found anything to do with and totally didn’t forget about! None of y’all forgot about him either, right?

  Anyways!

Can Seero terminate this new situation and protect the allied forces? Can the Imperial Mages overcome their predicament? Will any of the mages survive with their pride un-terminated? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 8 - Divide and Terminate!

Yes, Amulius, stay on guard. It is going to absolutely incredibly difficult for you to keep Ateia and Taog safe. Definitely. It's not like they're a hero and an actual Aesdes or anything. And that armor is just there to look shiny. So be prepared. Seero is definitely counting on you to keep them safe.

  Anyways!

Can Seero and co conquer their dungeons? Can 01R be of service to the Wise-Mighty-Gracious Boss-Queen? Can Amulius keep his children safe in a deadly dungeon? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 9 - All Grown Up and Efficient!

If only there was some sort of magic that could give poor Lilussees some subordinates to 'delegate' to. But oh well! For now she'll just have to apply...the e-word.

Meanwhile a certain hero is wishing he could be the one applying e-word, but turns out he's squishy and comparatively inefficient, so he'll just have to be carried with the rest of the meatbags.

  Anyways!

Will Ateia and Taog terminate an entire dungeon on their own? Will the Hero of Elteno get to do anything? Will the Eldest Sister have to apply e-word to keep the fanatical idiots alive? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 10 - Sending Thoughts, Prayers, and Protocols

Colle?ne would be proud. And ever so slightly extremely concerned about the implications of the CELIU network learning how to directly mimic the Personal System assistance, but under the circumstances those implications are a bit less important than solving the crisis.

Shialnor, on the other hand, would be jealous. She wants them to hurry up and figure out how to dungeon already so she doesn’t have to! Or she would, if she wasn’t upset and fighting for the fate of the world right now, or something.

  Anyways!

Are the Aesdes back in business? Will Seero and the CELIU network learn anything concerning to Colle?ne as a result of this? What does Dad think of Great Great Great Great…(continued)...Great Great Grandma’s parenting in his absence? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 11 - A Bear-y Vicious Fight

  Awww the kids’ first errand.

It’s termination. And 00B can terminate more than just emotional distress now! All shall receive bear hugs, if inevitable. Whether the hug terminates distress or squishy parts is up to the receiver.

Well…assuming he doesn’t just use the cannon.

  Anyways!

Will Seero follow up on Ateia’s experiments? Will the servants of the Wise-Mighty-Gracious Boss-Queen prove themselves worthy? Can they purify the dungeon before she arrives? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 12 - Terminate the Corruption!

As expected, Shialnor giving Seero all the deets will have no consequences whatsoever!

And speaking of consequences...gasp how dare the people the South attacked not care that the South is now under attack by monsters! You'd think they're upset or something!

  Anyways!

Will there be consequences to giving Seero all that data? Is this the extent of the Herald's plan? What will the South decide? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 13 - Plan of Action

The Nonus part probably should have happened last chapter but I forgor and didn’t think about it until now. Whoops lol. Because I’ve definitely never randomly added someone to a team and then kinda just forgot they were there! That would definitely , and definitely wouldn’t require me to as a response!

  Definitely not!

  ...

  …A-Anyways!

Can Seero and co save the Northern Empire? Is this the Heralds’ ultimate end goal? Has the author forgotten anything else? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 14 - The Ultimate Weapon vs. the Land of the Dead

Terminate smarter, not harder as Lilussees would always say if she were ever awake long enough to say it!

Or be Seero, and be so efficient at termination you don’t have to do either! Except…that efficiency causes her to be both even though she doesn’t need to be.

  Anyways!

Can Seero solo one of the largest dungeons on the continent? Will 01R conquer the skies for the Wise-Mighty-Gracious Boss-Queen? Will Lilussees get her full nap? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 15 - Catching Up with Friends

...I'm sure those whispers are nothing to worry about. Besides, it's not like their spreading lies or anything, so it's fine, right?

  Anyways!

Can Agedia and the others conquer the Mines of Might? Will Vafum ever get an explanation for this situation? What sort of rumors are spreading amongst the troops? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 16 - Dungeons and Divinations

I'd name the chapter "Dungeons and Dragons," but that would require the dungeon to actually have dragons.

  Which, supposedly, it did. Supposedly.

  Anyways!

Will Seero continue to improve on the Divination protocols? Will we actually find any dragons in this dungeon? Does the Haunted Mausoleum have anything else in store? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 17 - Re-Terminate the Haunted Mausoleum?

Huge undead dungeon, re-terminated! Or not, in fact not re-terminating it was kinda a major objective. Ah well, undead apocalypse, re-terminated!

...I only realized now that we already have a cheerful girl - paranoid guy combo. Um, oops? Thought about swapping them around but eh. The chapter's already written so whatevs!

  Anyways!

Will Lavinia ever forget this? Will Fabian learn to stop being so paranoid? How are the other teams doing? Tune in next time, to find out!

Interlude - The Brave Defenders of Turannia

Be careful what you wish for, Opiter! Magister Canus is obliging and pulling you away from the fight!

  But not from the stress!

Meanwhile, we finally got Uscfrea into a fight that Seero doesn’t end before he gets to do anything!

  Anyways!

Can Opiter handle his new promotion? Will his stomach survive intact? Can Uscfrea defeat yet another sea-dragon? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 18 - The Effect of Element Seero

Sorry for the delay. I had to wikipedia railguns to make sure I wasn't being stupid with my immensely creative ideas that obviously had nothing to do with any extant sci-fi game series. Obviously.

Which means no epic struggle for you, Uscfrea! We brought too much dakka for that! But not enough dakka. Never enough dakka.

  Anyways!

Will Nonus stop drooling fast enough for Seero to learn what she needs? Will Melion break through the ultimate hurdle in magical weaponry? Will Uscfrea ever get another glorious fight? Tune in next time, to find out!

Interlude - Kings, Lords, and Armies

Haha you guys only have slimes. Definitely can't do well in an Isekai world with nothing but slimes. You need a force of nature to take an Isekai world by storm, something like a mighty tempest. And who's ever heard of a slime described as a tempest?

Or so I say as the slime factory mass produces drone-golems and railguns...I guess Melion is something of a sage himself.

  Anyways!

Will the Great-High King conquer all the land with nothing but slimes? Will the Imperial Family's dungeon learn to be a good dungeon? Can Fabian ensure the security of the Haunted Mausoleum? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 19 - Strength and Honor

Ah, Seero meets the meatheads. Unfortunately for them, Seero lacks protocols for ‘fair play’ or ‘honorable combat.’ Why would she give the target a chance to not be terminated and terminate her in turn? That just seems inefficient.

But hey, this is the master of the Tower of Heroes! Maybe he won’t get immediately (near-)terminated! Maybe!

  Anyways!

Will the knights believe in Seero’s reputation now? Will the Tower of Heroes’s Master get the fight he’s been searching for? Can Seero (near-)terminate such an opponent? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 20 - Terminate the Battle Maniac?

And now Seero doesn’t even have to go through the entire dungeon! We’re on our way to terminate-from-home!

Except…if Seero could terminate-from-home…then she could end any war immediately…which…um…

S-Seero, it’s fine for you to come in, right? Look, you already have some super-efficient commute methods and you can access your Primary Home Base wherever you are. S-So there’s no need to instantly terminate the plot…err, the war. Um, certain individuals that definitely aren’t the author might need a bit more time before this arc ends, you know?

  Anyways!

Will Seero figure out terminate-from-home? Did Grandmaster Publius make the right choice? Will Seero end up terminating the plot? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 21 - Hope Amidst Defeat

Ah. The monsters lost and one of them was critically damaged. I see.

...Seero's going to terminate everyone, isn't she? I-It's ok, no one has died yet, s-so it's fine, right? I wouldn't put Seero through that!

...what do mean all that other stuff I put Seero through? That would imply I have control over this story, which we all know to be false. Ergo, I have never put Seero through anything. Anyone who puts Seero through anything is evil and needs to be terminated immediately.

  Anyways!

Can Ateia save everyone? Will 00WE make it? How will the CELIU network respond to this defeat? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 22 - Failure

Lilussees will be very happy when she wakes up. Because this means that Seero won’t tell her to take over! Being in charge would be, like, SO much e-word!

What Lilussees might be forgetting though…is that NSLICE/CELIU AIs ultimately get trained on their bonded organic halves…

Well, I’m sure it will be fine!

  Anyways!

Can 01R grow from this failure? Can the servants of the Wise-Mighty-Gracious Boss-Queen overcome the Stormy Veil? Will more e-word be forced out of Lilussees? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 23 - A New Approach

Round 2, here we go. And this time, with actual tactics!

What do you mean it goes better if we don't just randomly charge at the enemy? That's not what the movies told me!

  Anyways!

Can the monster team overcome the Stormy Veil? Will Lilussees get to remain on standby? Does the Stormy Veil have anything else in store? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 24 - Rise to the Top

…uh oh. This…um…is supposed to be a light-hearted comedy, right? Nothing exceptionally tragic is supposed to happen, right? Um…my novels don’t suddenly whiplash in tone via character death, right?

  Um…

  Anyways.

What will happen next in this fight? What can the cyborgs do to overcome this threat? Tune in next time, to find out.

  Chapter 25 - Bear-ly Hanging On

This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

Ah, what a nice relaxing weekend that definitely didn't start off with a stressful cliffhanger or anything. Maybe we should've taken a three day weekend, even!

What's that? I should have advertised the Patreon and its advance chapters on Friday? But, like, why though?

  Well back to the story!

Oops, 00B made an Ultron. Fortunately, Aelea doesn't have an Internet for it to peruse, so it didn't decide humanity needed to be destroyed a few moments after its birth!

On the other hand, most elementals just attack humanity as a rule so...

Well that's cool and all but y'all still be getting struck by lightning, 00B. In case you forgot.

As a side note, be aware that the 'code' is just pseudo-code for flavor. I'd imagine the AIs are communicating in a lower-level language than anything remotely human-readable, after all. Which means any syntax errors are obviously intentional and informed choices and not mistakes made out of ignorance, obviously!

  Anyways!

Will 00B remember he's getting struck by lightning? What will be the first act of the first Cyber Elemental? Will it decide humanity needs to be destroyed? Tune in next time, to find out.

Chapter 26 - Terminate the Stormy Veil!

Whoops, the Seero part probably should have been earlier, in like chapter 214 when 01R and the others had returned to the Primary Home Base. But I didn’t think of it until now, so oh well!

And now it’s getting long with all this necessary character development stuff, so guess her reaction to the first Cyber Elemental will have to wait!

  Anyways!

How will Seero react to the Cyber Elemental? Will she learn to terminate her own fears? Is Aelea ready for this new attribute? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 27 - A Designation to Bear

Eh, I probably shoulda shown Ateia’s group arrive at the Mélusine place, done some world building, and shown Agedia’s relationship with her people.

But oh well! Agedia don’t care much herself, and we got places to be and cultists to terminate! And now I can schedule all that as bonus content for a future edited version (Edit from the Future: Ahahaha no I won't)! It’s win win!

  Anyways!

How will 00B-Beta improve the CELIU network? Did anything interesting happen in the Mélusine settlement? What will Seero and co find in the Southern Empire? Tune in next time, to find out!

Interlude - The Fall of Liberty

This side story is brought to you by one of my Patrons, , whose questions and recommendation about Seero giving back the airships inspired me to write a Captain Falrauth chapter. So no, Seero's not giving back the airships. It's just that her dungeon forces don't need em at present, and her Turannian forces don't have the time to train adequately on them, and they ain't just gonna leave em sitting around.

Especially not when the South is in rough shape. Mirima itself could be at risk of destruction. Oh the (half-elven) humanity!

  Anyways!

Is Mirima's future doomed? How will it possibly survive the current crisis? Who amongst them could handle such powerful dungeons? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 28 - Yesterday's Enemy

...so Seero, about that whole terminating the plot via terminate-from-home thing...um...well...

So neither the South's attack nor the South's salvation shall result in long arcs, huh...

  Anyways!

What shall the people of Mirima think of their supposed enemy? Does the plot have any hope of non-termination? How long (short) will it take Seero to clean up the Southern Empire? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 29 - A Deathly Situation

Oh hey, Seero didn't terminate all of the plot this time! We get at least one more round of dungeons after all!

  For now.

Meanwhile the masters of the dark arts now face the judgment of the Aesdes. Good luck!

  Anyways!

What does the Ocean's Wrath and Banshee's Cove have in store for the gang? Will the vile necromancers survive their encounter with a holy Aesdes? What's the Imperial Doctrine anyways? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Interlude - Divine Courage

Figured I should address the question of why the Aesdes are taking so long to sort themselves out, and the whole situation with everybody talking about Ateia as an Aesdes made a good segway, so here we are.

Because only Seero is allowed to terminate the plot!

  Anyways!

Do the laws of mortals still apply to Ateia? Can the Aesdes overcome their crisis in time to save the mortals below? Will a certain dungeon master and hero surprise Colle?ne once again? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 30 - The Judgement of the Aesdes

...Ateia, you know that Imperial doctrine is what the Empire thinks the Aesdes think (or wants everyone to think the Aesdes think), right? And...you're technically an Aesdes now so.....

Well, I'm sure it will be fine! Unlike the spooky Banshee's Cove. Look at this travesty, instead of trembling and screaming in terror, this invaders are going and having moments and stuff! The dungeon master must be rolling in their core room...if they aren't freaking out about losing control of their core and the Legion coming to destroy them in retaliation, that is.

  Anyways!

Will Magister Lampronia discover how the Aesdes view her? Will the Banshee's Cove become a place for moments? What does the dungeon master think of all this? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 31 - Terminate the Cultists?

Well that's not good. But eh. It's not like the Eastern Empire was the most powerful from a military perspective and what military forces the North and South had have been heavily damaged by recent events so that their ability to reinforce would be minimal to the East's needs, right?

  ...

Um...maybe they can phone a friend?

  Anyways!

Will Seero track down the cultists in the end? What's going on in the East? Are there any reinforcements sufficient to overturn their crisis? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 32 - The Cavalry Arrives

Air cavalry, to be specific. Although given the role of cavalry Seero wouldn't classify these as such. The smaller drones and 01R's group might fit the bill, if information gathering is still one of their primary duties.

  ...Seero came to help, ok?

And suddenly the Maior Generallis feels significantly more polite! This is the reason Seero wasn't too concerned with the South's former fleet, Seero deserves a brand-new, shiny fleet, not a banged-up used one!

  Anyways!

How will Seero's fleet perform? Will the aid of 'one person' change the Eastern Empire's fortunes? How will they match up to the High-Archons and the Empire of the Sun? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 33 - Termination Rains from Above!

I miss Overwatch. Except for that part where playing it leaves me anxious and tilted instead of, you know, having fun. But ah well, Blizzard's shenanigans were a good excuse to pull the plug. Only single player games for me these days!

At least I know they'll deliver on PvE. Maybe even without intense sexual harassment, microtransactions, and destroying their own e-sports community!

...deep breaths, happy thoughts, back to the story.

Oh look! It's the unnamed side characters I didn't expect to ever see again! You guys are here too, what a coincidence!

...does that mean I have to think of names for them now?

  Anyways!

Will the termination from above stop the Empire of the Sun's assault? How will the Archons respond to this? Will Amulius's friends get names? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 34 - The Shiny Legion

Well that was easy. Barely an inconvenience! These empires must be slacking or something.

That, or, you know, they’re temporarily surprised by combat techniques developed by a completely different history of warfare that they haven’t had the chance to adjust their protocols to match.

Nah, can’t be right, they’re just lazy! Come on guys, don’t make Seero do all the work, please. Look, you have an Aesdes blessing you now, so no excuses!

  Anyways!

Will Seero’s forces dominate and end the war? Can the Empire of the Sun respond to the new threat? Will the Eastern Empire get off its lazy butt and do something or will Seero have to do all the work? Tune in next time, to find out!

Interlude - Friends in High Places

Well well well, look who it is! We’ve been looking for you, Miss Herald of Rain. And we got a nice present waiting for you. Can you guess what it is?

So, you know, your plan had better be ‘immediate surrender.’

  Anyways!

Can High Archon Vommik turn this situation around? What is the Herald of Rain’s plan? What is the Herald of the New Dawn up to during all of this? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 35 - Archon Assault

...is it a good idea to teach Seero how to be sneaky?

  ...

Well whatever! We've got dungeons to terminate and battlefields to apparently avoid! I guess technically it is more efficient to just avoid the enemy lines and strike the rear instead of a full-frontal assault.

  Anyways!

Will High-Archon Vommik locate the Queen of the Dobhar and resume his assault? Can the team terminate a corrupted dungeon with acceptable efficiency to impact the course of the battle? Will Nolnyth be disappointed once again? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 36 - Terminate the Corrupted Dungeon!

The Realm of Eternal Night: One of the destructive Realms of Mana incomprehensible to mortal minds. A Realm of complete darkness that blinds all senses known to man and magic, and filled with unseen terrors. A Realm that causes one to lose touch with their very body and mind, to the point that their death goes completely unnoticed, for their experience of reality and of existence itself had ceased to be long before their final, silent heartbeat.

  Seero: Unclaimed usable territory detected.

The Heralds really screwed up with that whole send Seero to the Realms of Mana plan, didn’t they?

  Anyways!

Will Seero's new protocol work on none Realm of Eternal Night dungeons? Will the Realm of Eternal Night ever avoid getting terminated? What does Nolnyth think of Seero's dungeon termination efficiency? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 37 - Terminate All the Corrupted Dungeons!

...ok, technically not ALL the corrupted dungeons, but "terminate a lot of the corrupted dungeons" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

And so Seero did in minutes what took the hero's party months. But let's cut them a bit of slack. Pure squishies tend to be less efficient, after all.

But don't worry, Cominia! Seero's always looking to improve her protocols so maybe next time she'll get it down to seconds and you'll win the bet!

  Anyways!

Who will win the bet next time? Will Seero continue to improve her corrupted dungeon termination efficiency? Will the hero's party remain entirely unnecessary? Tune in next time, to find out!

Interlude - A Hint of Rain

…I’d sarcastically wish you good luck, Herald, but you’re trying to hurt Seero, so I wish you nothing but bad luck, even jokingly! All the worst luck! Your protagonist-like despair followed by remembering your roots and gathering your resolve can’t fool me!

So, you know, you better hope I don’t have any control over the amount of luck you shall receive!

  Anyways!

Can the Herald of Rain overcome the greatest challenge of her life? Can the Empire of the Sun and the Heralds of the New Dawn put a stop to the enemy rampaging in their rear? Will the Herald of the New Dawn’s grand design come to fruition? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 38 - Collision Course

…sure, keep telling yourself that bud. Meatbags are always so arrogant, are they not?

  Anyways!

Can Seero handle the combined might of the Empire of the Sun and the Heralds of the New Dawn? Will Nolnyth have to flee for her life? Will High-Archon Vommik remind the world of who he is? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 39 - First Strike

Sorry if this one feels a bit short, definitely skirting the limit. Was a bit fatigued when I wrote this one, but like, not enough to not write, you know?

In any case, welp, time to show off the full power of a High Archon, Vommik. You're gonna need it. It's like, what other sneaky plans do they even have left to handle Seero, given she can return from the Realms of Mana at will and has Divination-sensors for tactical intel gathering?

  ...

Ah well, not my problem! The High Archon and Herald will just have to think of something on their own. Or not, muahahahahaha!

  Anyways!

Can the High Archon show the world his power? Does the Herald of Rain have any more tricks up their sleeves? Will they be terminated with extreme prejudice? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 40 - The High Archon vs. the Ultimate Weapon

Gasp. Vommik didn’t get immediately terminated. High Archons are powerful indeed.

Well good thing he brought an army, right? Surely his personal guard supported by Archons can handle the ten or so people there...right?

  Anyways!

Can High Archon Vommik avoid being terminated? Can his personal guard handle a mere ten or so people? Does the Herald of Rain have any plans to overturn this situation? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 41 - Sun Wars

Hey look, everyone else is getting to do something! Seero, Ateia, and 00EW aren’t going to do all the work on this mission! Good job team!

Now make sure you hurry up and finish your fights quickly if you want kill credit! Because…you know…the fight between Seero and the High Archon may or may not take that long…

  Anyways!

Can Seero’s forces and allies defeat the Archons? Can the Spellblades overcome the Cyber-Elemental led drone army? Can everyone finish their fights before Seero and Vommik finish theirs? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 42 - Risk of Rain

Behold! The hybrid mana/code virus developed by one of the very Aesdes themselves!

  00B-Beta: Nom(virus); Express_Gratitude(unit.designation == ‘Nutrition Transporter’);

Oh. Guess the Herald should have read the latest CELIU network patch notes, huh?

  Anyways!

Will 00B teach 00B-Beta not to eat weird code from strangers? What will the Herald of Rain do with Taog? Does she have enough contingency plans for this fight? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 43 - Terminate the Rain!

She really should have known better, Turannians ain't bothered by no rain. It’s always raining in Turannia, so what would a Herald of Rain even do there? Herald the rain that’s already falling? Everyone will just give her strange looks, shrug, and go about their business.

  Anyways!

What’s going on in the battle above? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 44 - Terminate the Archons!

By the way, Lilussees could actually defeat her opponent if she wanted too. But she’s learning her lesson! She knows that while terminating the opponent takes less e-word than containing them, that if she terminates them too quickly Seero’s opinion of her might accidentally improve again! So she has to settle for more e-word now so that Seero doesn’t demand even more e-word later! She’s almost at her limit already!

  Anyways!

Can any of the Archons survive this fight? What is High-Archon Vommik's last choice? Will Seero's evaluation of Lilussees change once again? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 45 - Become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds

Oh no! People who can control nuclear power with their minds/bodies! Whatever shall we do?

What’s that? Seero’s totally dealt with those kinds of powers even before she had a dungeon core?

…welp, looks like the Faceless Minion strikes again! That moment when you remember this is supposed to be a spinoff novel...

  Anyways!

Will the High-Archon’s new, devastating powers turn this fight around? How will Seero deal with magical atomic destruction? Will the Faceless Minion terminate the plot? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 46 - Terminate the Sun!

Hope I got all that right. We’re getting dangerously close to me attempting to learn serious physics! I know LitRPGs are about numbers but no one wants to see me attempt to understand the math for the interactions of gravitational forces with nuclear reactions while space itself is being bent and twisted. So I hereby invoke the Rule of Cool! You won’t get me to do math in my real life today, Science! It's literally magic so there!

Besides, what’s even the point of a webnovel if you don’t make big mistakes with the science so that actually informed readers can write essays in the comments?

  Anyways!

Will this termination conclude the war? Will Seero develop countermeasures for the Realm of Atomic Destruction? Will the author be forced to go back to school? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Interlude - Ancient Allies

Alright! High Archon: terminated! Heralds of the New Dawn: terminated with extreme prejudice! War in the Blessed Land: handled! Looks like we got everything covered!

Well that was easy. We aren’t forgetting anything, are we?

  Anyways!

Will peace come to the surface of Aelea? Will Colle?ne and Shialnor reclaim their cores? Is there anything important we’ve forgotten? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 47 - The New Dawn

  …haha…

  …hahaha…

…Seero better be ok, Mr. Herald. For your sake.

  Anyways.

What just happened to Seero? What will happen to Aelea? Is there anyone capable of stopping the New Dawn now? Tune in next time, to find out.

Chapter 48 - The Last Aesdes

…Lilussees, I know you’re upset, but please watch your language. There could be children listening, you know!

But well, we’ll allow it, just this once. You dun goofed, Mr. Herald!

  Anyways!

Can Ateia and the others put a stop to the Herald? Can they fix the hole in reality? Could Seero and the Aesdes still survive somewhere out there? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 49 - The War of the Realms

Oh hey, the valued allies are being...valuable? What a twist! Maybe they'll even achieve acceptable termination efficiency!

  Well, anything's possible, I suppose.

  Anyways!

Can the forces of Aelea push through the Rifts? Will they be able to terminate the Herald? Can they save their world from destruction? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 50 - The Flames of Destruction

Uh oh, that doesn't seem good.

  ...

Oh well, if the world explodes I'll just Isekai em somewhere else. I never did follow up on that Lilussees variant story, did I...

  And speaking of other stories...

I'm excited the announce is now live on Royal Road! It's a dungeon novel. With bees. And...no cyborgs as of yet...(EDIT from the Future: More like this story has an egregious lack of bees! Bees best bees! I was truly a silly non-bee back then, wasn't I?)

  ...

Well, if you desperately need something more to read, I guess...a-anyways this one is intended to be slightly more serious than the other two (EDIT from the Future: AHAHAHA no. Cozy story best story!). Not in that I will turning grim dark or anything, I don't particularly intend to change my the overall style even. But more that, well, this MC isn't a gag character mastermind with Batman-levels of prep time or a killer cyborg designed as a living superweapon, so they probably won't be as blatantly overpowered this time. Maybe.

  Anyways!

Can Ateia and the others manage to overcome the Herald's plot? Can anyone stop him now? Will the author have to Isekai the Isekai? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Chapter 51 - The Contingency

Muahahahahaha! Your attempts to terminate Seero only make her stronger, Mr. Herald! Like actually, you should really just stop trying to terminate her, you know?

And Commander Elise saves the day! Well, since I dropped that foreshadow about Elise preparing a contingency for Seero, had to bring it into play somehow! Without, you know, accidentally having a character from another novel terminate the plot, however lore-appropriate that scenario may have been. But it’s ok, Elise, you don’t have to do all the work this time. Cause Seero is a lot more efficient than your squishy organic allies were!

For those of you who didn’t read the Faceless Minion, want more detail about what exactly Commander Elise did, and don’t mind spoilers:

  • The non-standard energy is qi. At the point in the Faceless Minion where Commander Elise met Seero, she had become a powerful cultivator with a cyborg cultivation. That’s also how she hid the contingency protocol from Seero’s upgraded processors, since she could just hide some qi in Seero’s organic half instead of as a program in her electronic memory.

  •
  • Commander Elise also eventually received Iesnuorium-powered weapons during the Faceless Minion, in her case a universal power replicator rather than a universal power dampener. So she already had those kinds of blueprints at the ready.

  •

  Anyways!

Where in the Source did Seero end up? Will she make her way back to the Material Plane? Will Commander Elise have to do any more of the work? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 52 - Spirit of the Machine

Hippity hoppity this realm of infinite machinery is now Seero's family, and now going to help her rebuild.

...I'm, uh, sure that a Realm of Mana powered, AI-with-ever-expanding-processors-driven upgrade will be...ok, yeah that's probably going to be a thing.

As for the continuous name changes to the Cyborg/Cyber/Machine Realm...imma go with Shialnor was too lazy to figure out the appropriate name to begin with! Yes. Shialnor. And no one else.

  Anyways!

What will an upgrade powered by the processors and resources of a Realm of Mana look like? Has the Realm of Machines finally found an appropriate name? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 53 - The Core of the Matter

Ah yes. The screw it, the MC can just do whatever they want part of an Isekai LitRPG.

Well, I say that like I didn't write this whole story so that Seero could go and do whatever she wanted. Once, you know, she wanted to do something other than have someone else tell her what to do.

  And now for some announcements.

Yes, like some of you have sensed, we are approaching the end of the primary storyline I had (vaguely) planned. Well, Isekai stories can kind of go on forever if you want them to and focus more on the slice of life/side stories, and like, Seero probably could go through a lot more character growth since she only just unlocked emotions, however I do intend to take a break from writing TtOW (as editing of the official version continues) so stuff like that would be TBD.

The good news is is well underway, so you'll continue to have something to read from me for the foreseeable future! Something that...doesn't have any lovable cyborgs at present...um...(Edit from the Future: Because it has BEES! Bees best bees!)

Sigh. Well, I probably shouldn't repeat the same character arc for a third time in a row, so here we are, following some organic scrub. (Edit from the Future: How dare I?! Don't I know that King is best king?! What a silly non-bee!)

  Anyways!

Can Seero terminate the hostiles responsible for all this? Will there be consequences to the mass-production of Iesnuorium? How efficiently will Seero's new components perform? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 54 - Terminate the Inferno!

...so let me get this straight, Mr. Herald. Every time you try to terminate Seero, she ends up getting stronger. You then trusted Shialnor's bare minimum effort to do the job, just cause she's the Aesdes who invented dungeons or whatever. And now you're surprised that she came back and can terminate Domides Incarnations now.

You have no one to blame for this sequence of events but yourself. Even Commander Elise's contingency occurred because you went and opened a portal to Earth, you know?

  Anyways!

Is there anything left the Herald can do? Will he find a way to make Seero even stronger? Will he trust Shialnor's work ever again? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 55 - Terminate the Other World!

She said the thing, roll credits! And the world is round now!

…does this mean we have to care about science again? And how do Material Plane expansions work now?

  ...

W-Well, that's just about it for the main story, thank you all for reading! And here I thought my indulgent "let's send NSLICE-00P on an OP Isekai Power Trip" spinoff would be a niche thing read only by a couple of dedicated Faceless Minion fans lol. Now it's got an official e-book and audiobook from like, a real publisher. Neat.

It turned out more lovable killer cyborg was all we needed all along.

In any case, we'll have an epilogue chapter to round things out, so tune in one more time!

  Anyways!

What will be the conclusion of all these things? What are the consequences of making a flat world round? What about the Aesdes? Tune in next time, to find out!

Chapter 56 - Unit Seero and Her Friends

And that’s a wrap! Thanks for joining me on this quest to give Seero all the nice things! Well, she always deserves more but I think an entire spinoff Isekai novel series that is straight up longer than the original is an acceptable level of favoritism for the unit formerly designated as NSLICE-00P. Maybe. Barely. The minimum at best. Maybe we should give her a Realm of Sweetrolls…

…well we could also detail the process of the Aesdes freaking out over the changes. Also the Ateia/Taog plot technically ended ambiguous...the Uscfrea/Estrith plot too now that I think about it. And we never did have any “some dude falls in love with Seero” shenanigans. Plus, there’s a whole lot to learn about being a person besides just the basic ability to even feel emotions. And we could survey the realm of the Great-High King or go visit the other random places in Aelea besides the Empire…

But well, this is a good ending point I feel since all combat threats are wrapped up and we would need outside context problems to provide any real threats. Not that fake threats can’t be entertaining when they get smushed but eh the rate of terminations would still decrease dramatically and “Slice-of-Life the Other World!” just doesn’t have the same ring to it. So again, I’m going to call it here. Perhaps I will do afterstories for all that other stuff at some point but no promises or ETAs on that.

After all, I gotta finish editing both this story and the Faceless Minion. Like, we’re about to publish the spinoff when the original is still on Volume 2, and the plot that leads to Terminate the Other World occurs in Volume 4! So I should, like, probably get that sorted eventually. Probably. (Edit from the Future: ...I should really get on that eventually, huh...)

Or…I could work on a new novel and create more future editing work for myself…

  Hmmm…

Well, if ya want more to read: is well underway if you’d like some more dungeon shenanigans and an original story! If, you know, you can stomach a story about an...inefficient organic, ugh (Edit from the Future: You mean about best king and best bees, you silly non-bee!). Alternatively, you can check out Terminate the Other World! prequel series if you want to know Commander Elise’s story, why she is also designated NSLICE-00P, and why exactly she sent Seero back in time! If, you know, you didn't read any of the spoiler notes I left here and there. and are currently available on Amazon/KU, while the original volumes 3 and 4 are still on Royal Road pending me editing them. Please be advised that while the overarching plot remains the same, significant details may have changed so there may be some mismatches between Volumes 1-2 and Volumes 3-4 at this point. Especially regarding…the arc. And also certain characters may dramatically change in terms of personalities and backstories and screen time and plot importance…but ah well! None of those characters are Seero (At least until I get around to editing Volume 4) so it’s fine!

  Anyways!

Can the Aesdes adjust to their new circumstances? Will Seero find a Realm of Sweetrolls? Will Ateia and Taog become a thing? Will the author ever finish his editing? Tune in on release day, to find out!

  Afterstory - Terminate the Status!

New chapters, so new author's notes! Let's see, this one is about...the...status? As in, you...want to know Seero's final status?

  AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...hahaha...heh.

No one wants to know that status. And even if you do, too bad! Look, the audible listeners have already complained that the Book 1 status takes, like, an hour to narrate. So do you have any idea how long it took to edit? To review for inconsistencies and errors...and then to figure out how to resolve them?! Look, Faceless Minion self-publishing got delayed for years because of the sheer amount of effort that required! I'd probably have to put Bee Dungeon on hiatus to figure out what the Book 5 status would look like! It'd probably take an entire audiobook's length to narrate!

So no. I'm with Shialnor on this one. Request denied. It's infinity plus one. The numbers have gone up beyond humble organics' ability to count. Seero has all the skills and can do anything. She blows up infinite multiverses at infinity times lightspeed. That's word of god canon for you power-scalers. The end.

Next time, I'm building a nice, easy system without any numbers that will be nice and easy to keep track of! Definitely!

  Anyways!

Can mortals even comprehend Seero's current status? Can the Aesdes reforge their relationship with the world? Will Shialnor get to sleep as much as she wants? Tune in next time, to find out!

  Afterstory - Elteno Eternal

Awwww, Ateia decided not to become immortal god-queen of the empire and rule for tens of thousands of years. We could've filled the far future with only termination! Or sweet-rolls. Definitely sweet-rolls at this stage, given how good Seero is at terminating wars at this point.

Ah well, guess we'll let the villainess handle it then.

  Anyways!

Will the North restore the glory of the Empire? Can Prince Octavianus learn to be a competent heir? Can he survive the wrath of the villainess? Tune in next time, to find out! Except, this is like, the last afterstory of the edited version of the last book, so there probably won't be a next time, huh. Eternally unanswered questions it is, muahahahahaha! Well, unless that decides to become a real story...

that prequel ever finish getting edited? Tune in next time, to find out!
