  María created huge rings of fire to distract the creature, it paid them no mind, chosing to slowly advance towards Allison and Li.

  I hit it with a full power kick powered by copying María's fire. The feet engulfed in fmes only get absorbed by the darkness.

  By reflex, I remove my foot from my shoe.

  It was wise, the shoe had completely disappeared into the darkness.

  Just as Jessica was about to grab her needle once and for all, it shattered right before our eyes, forcing her "Id state" to come to an end.

  Our sense of bance having been compromised by yet another earthquake, Jessica couldn't have noticed the snakes that spawned right above her head.

  If it specifically chose to deal with Jessica and Alma first, that must mean that creature sensed something from the both of them that it decided it would rather deal with now.

  That makes sense, with enough time, Jessica could have cleared this darkness completely. Still, I have no idea what it's deal with Alma is.

  I removed the shards from Jessica's eyes, oddly enough she wasn't lying at all about not being able to feel something stuck in her eyes.
