The m I got up and headed down stairs. I find my mother making breakfast and my dad is reading a neer while drinking coffee.
“Oh, good m Zenith. Breakfast will be ready soon. If you , you set the table please.” my mom says when she sees me.
“Good m mom. I’ll get right to it” I tell her.
I theo setting the table for breakfast. During it, I started to have a casual versation with my dad. The news had a lot about the attack the other day, including witness statements who saw Anthem fighting the two who attacked him. Those two were taken in by the association and are currently being interrogated.
The other two attackers, the ones who went after Aria, got away, the same with their leader. Turns out that even with the whole festival surrounded by hunters from every majuild iy, they still got away, something people think was either an inside job, or the work of a skill no one knows the leader has.
I was somewhat worried about this, but I know that Aria and Anthem are powerful so I choose to believe in them.
When mom is done cooking breakfast, she asks me to go get Aria and Anthem for breakfast.
I am able to get Anthem up really easily. And once again Aria does not want to get up. She kept trying to get me to let her sleep longer, saying that sioday wasn’t a holiday she didn’t o wake up yet.
But I finally got her up saying that if she didn’t get up now, then I would see her ter since I was doing something today. She got up immediately after that.
In all hoy, this wasn’t even a pn to wake her up. She doesn't o wake up yet if she doesn't want breakfast.
But she came down for breakfast.
Whe downstairs, we find everythi oable, and the others waiting for us.
“Seriously Aria, you ever wake up on time?” Anthem said when he saw us.
“Womeheir beauty sleep, Anthem. I don’t think you would uand” she said ba.
“There's a differeweey sleep and wasting all of our time waiting for you” he shot back.
But before their fight could tinue, mom put something new down oable very loudly to stop the two of them from fighting.
“Listen, you two. We are going to have a calm family breakfast. If you want to fight, then you skip breakfast and fight elsewhere” She said. This was on for mom. She oftes mad when Anthem and Aria fight, since she thinks that siblings should always get along, or at least know when to fight. She often points out that they always get along with me.
“Sorry mom” Anthem said.
“Yeah, sorry” Aria said as well. They both looked very sheepish at being scolded by mom.
So we finally all sat down and started breakfast. Mom and dad o go into the office a little today so they were asking what urns out that Anthem had pns with some girl, whi and dad seemed super gitty about. They always said that they think that Aria and Anthem should date more, and bring people home.
Anthem had asked the two of us to hide his pyboy lifestyle he has when they are not hom, always saying he was ashamed of it, so they didn’t know he had many girlfriends.
Aria said she was going to try doing some hunting today, saying she was trying to get some skill. She even said that seeing my dedicatioerday made her want to do some stuff as well.
This led to my pns. That is when I told them I had some pns for hunting today. I o find a rank E dungeon I could do easily for a little. I even said that I wao find oh a lot of smaller mos.

Aria and Aried to think back to the rank E dungeons they had seen, but sihey hadn’t been to one in a while, they had no idea.
They told me that the association has resources for finding dungeons online, and that they would be a good pce to start. This page includes things like known rewards and what monsters appear. They pointed out that this would be the best to find the most effit pn for my pn to get MP growth.
After that, we finished up I headed bay room to look at what dungeon I thought would be the best pn.

Currently I was at an E rank dungeon in aown close to mihis was another version of the Slime cave, the same type I had taken on at the association, but slightly different. Dungeons have special ditions inside of them. These include having them be bigger but no harder, or the one i was looking for, the higher spawn rate. It was called Slime Cave+.
It was still an E rank dungeon, but had apparently twice the number of slimes.
It was also super not popur apparently, only having about 2 visitors a day.
But it had everything I was looking for. If I run through it, I should be able to finish in about 1 hour, but I also get a lot of monster kills, trying to level up Strength boost.
The boss still only gives 10 SP, so this is just my first step until I get skill boost to level 2.
When I walk up to the dungeon attendant, and give them my id card.
“Thank you for ing” the attendant says to me and I walk into the dungeon.
This is my first time being in the dungeon alone, so I’m going to be slightly more cautious this time around, until I get used to it.
The ime I gh is going to be my speed run of the duo find out how fast I do it.
SO cautiously I enter.
When I get inside I find a cave almost identical to the dungeon in the association. I tell the y out of the dungeon is different already, just from the first room.
That is the differeween dungeons with the same here yout is different. They spawn the same monsters and have the same rewards, but they are all slightly different.
Dedicated to my goal, I started my first run of the day.
The first monster I e across is a slime, just like st time. But u time, there are three of them here. Just like I read ohis dungeon has an increased spawn rate.
The three of the jump towards me and I let them hit me. I know they ’t do damage against me with my current defense, but if I let it happen, I increase my defense boost. After they hit me the first time, I cate of them and hit it twi quick succession, killing it.

Theher two attack again and I repeat my strategy.

And I kill both of them. I ended up taking 6 hits from them. It also took me 6 hits to kill all three.
So I tinue on with the first level.

And by the end of the first level, I ended up killing 75 more blue slimes.

And onto the sed flo.
This time when I came across a group of slimes there were 5 of them. It seems that the spawn rate increased even more here. Going through the fight again, with letting them hit me a little, I am able to kill them easily.

I repeated the same cycle as st time. I get 10 hits in, a hit 15 times. I still didn’t take any damage from them so I am pletely fine. WIth this I am ready to take on the round.
Every time I came across one slime, there were always 5 there. It seems that the way the increased spawn rate works, is just by making it so instead of 1, 5 spawn.

I finally made my way into the boss room. Sihe ge of this dungeon was the spawn rate of normal monsters I find the normal Boss, the purple greater slime I fought yesterday uhe association.
I do the same thing I did the day before I end up killing it with about 3 hits.

I quickly open the chest and find a crystal and nothing more, not getting ara rewards this time. I also pick up the crystal from the boss, which I believe is a guaranteed drop.
Then I gh the teleportation circle and end up back at the beginning of the dungeon. When I checked my phoo see how long I had been in the dungeon, I realized that this run had taken me far lohan I had thought. The time was getting to around the time I said I would be home today, meaning that this single run, where I tried to kill everything I came across, had taken me around 6 hours. I had gotten a huge boost in skill EXP, but not much SP, trary to my main goal.
Knowing that I will be in trouble if I am not home soon, I quickly leave the dungeon and find the attendant.
“OH, you've been in there a long time, did everything go well?” she said with a small amount of e.
“No, everything was fine, I was just taking my time. I have some items to turn in.” I said, pulling out the crystals I had gotten. Only about 10 slimes had dropped magic stones during the main part, each worth about 10 dolrs. The boss stone and dungeon stone were worth around 5 each, meaning I only made about 20 dolrs today.
pared to the amount I have seen Aria and Anthem make in even an hour, this was nothing.
The attendant took the magic stones from me, as well as the card and sed everything. “Thank you for ing today! Please have a good night!” she said, and I left, running all the way home. I was in good shape before the status unlock, but now, I feel like I could run forever.
I am able to make it all the way home, without stopping.

After I get home, I have a nice dinner with my parents and siblings and talk about our days. Anthem seems really happy with how his date went. Aria had aing dungeon dive today. Mom and dad had some stuff to do at work.
It was all very h all of us hht now.
And they all seemed really happy hearialk about my day in the dungeon. They seemed ed about the whole letting myself get hit by the slimes thing, but when I said I know they ’t deal damage to me, they dropped it.

Several of the level up bonuses have gone up. I am fused by this si is supposed to be hard for this to happen. Normally 1 to 2 happens around level 3 but 2 to 3 happens around level 20. And normally you have to focus oat at once.
The hing I noticed was that I was really close to leveling up both defense and strength boost. My pn was to switch what dungeon I was at after leveling up strength so I deal with the higher level monsters. I wasn’t going to go to a D rank dungeon until level 3, but harder E rank dungeons have some slightly better rewards.
With all of this, my pn for the day was set. I had the weekend plus new years eve and day before I had the test, so I had time to finish up some of my pns.
So my pn was to go back to the slime cave the day and finish strength and defehen when I was doh those, I would try going through the dungeon as fast as I could.
The st thing I realized was my speed stat. I had spent a long time running throughout the duoday, which seems to have given me EXP in speed boost.
I also know I will have to take damage to level up HP boost, but that is not my main priority until I get to a pce where that matters, but since I am not taking any damage yet, I should be fine.
Being done for the day, and having my pn for the day set, I lie bay bed.
But before I could drift off to sleep, I received a text.
It's from a number I don't have saved, so it isn’t one of my friends. I open it just to see what it is and if I should block the number.
I found a did picture of Anthem and Aria with me at the festival the other day. About a sed ter I receive aext from the same person.
‘Stay away from Anthem from now on. He is too good for you’

After dinner with my family I was lying in my bed looking at my phone, or more specifically I was using my phoo look through Zenith's phone.
The app I used to monitor his calls as works by mirr the data on the phone so I access it whenever. I also go to a live view of whatever he is looking at.
Currently, Zenith is doing really well. I was scared after the festival that he would regress a little since he seemed so shaken by that weirdo terrorist and her boss, but it seems like being able to be a hunter made it easy for him to move past it.
I mean, he didn’t even send a thank you text to Maerday, so I don’t thi a text from her at all, something that normally happens on holidays or his birthday.
I mean, he’s beeing two other people, but they seem normal enough. Willow and Liliana. I haven't asked him about the two of them yet, but I know they are reted to people who hurt him before, so I o be prepared.
But for the most part, they haven't done anything weird.
While I am looking through his stuff, I see he got a text. It was from a number I didn’t know, and all it was icture of the three of us at the festival taken from a weird angle. fused by what this was, a sed text es through.

But, for the first time with one of these harassis Zenith receives, he responds.
‘I don’t know who the hell you are, but you should kill yourself’

The texts he sends just keep ing. I have never seen him like this. He normally just ighe harassment he was sent.
Then I realized the reason.
Normally they are just beio him.
But just like I had the other day, this was about either me or Anthem, his siblings.
Quickly deg to stop this, I rao Zenith's room. His light was already off since he was going to bed soon. I see him just typing on his phoionless. The texts just kept going.
I quickly take the pho of his hands to stop him. He then looks back up at me.
“Aria, I have my phone back, I was having a versation” He said, with ion.
“No” I said ba.
“Why not”
“Because I said so. You o go to sleep”
“I wasn’t doh the person I was talking to”
“That's not important. Someone else will finish that versation”
“I don’t know what you mean”
“You don’t o, just please go to sleep. I’ll stay with you until then”
“You know, I am pretty tired.”
“That's right, you spent a long time in the duoday. Just get some sleep”
“All right” he says and lies ba his bed. I’ve seen him like this before and know that going to sleep will help him. I also don’t think he will remember this tomorrow, so I deal with anything else then.
But the number he was texting is going to be my main priority. It has something to do with Anthem so he is going to be my first stop in the m.

After Aria takes my phone from me and tells me to go to sleep, I hear one more text notification. It’s not the person who texted me earlier, sihe text tone was different.
It was a text from Mana.
But I thought that Aria was right, I should get some sleep.
