Volume 8. Chapter 4: A Side Of Her, Which She Didnt Know Of... (Chapter 705.)

Chapter 4: A Side Of Her, Which She Didn't Know Of...

The Celia that Midas knew… wouldn’t be acting so coy and… self-deprecating. Instead, she’d simply accept Midas’s help, and go on to be as strong as Celia rightfully should become.

With Celia not accepting, Midas stared her down. Specifically, the Goddess looked at Celia’s soul. Unlike in the last life, her future wife’s soul was perfect, with no Staining in sight.

At this realization, Celia acting like a scared bunny, Midas licked her lips. “This must have been Celia’s self before she got so much absurd power…” She thought, her mind racing.

The Goddess, knowing that Celia was now completely at her whims… did her best to not try and seduce Celia at this very moment.

Midas: “To awaken your System, you must first be in a situation where you’d need to use it.” She calmly explained.

Celia: “…Really? It couldn’t be… that simple, right?” She replied with an unsure tone.

Midas: “I assure you, it is. The same thing happened to me.” She replied with a confident nod.

Albert was… actually decently in Midas’s pocket. Celia was born in the slums, in this city, and Midas, not wanting the girl to get an early start to her powering up… made sure to not let Celia get into any trouble.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

In a sense, this was wrong, and greatly veered close to what Xena could go along with. Though, with her future wife now old enough, she had Albert spur her into coming to the Guild today.

Prior to this, Celia would always figure out ways to get enough Coins to pay Albert, and survive day to day. But each time was a trick from Midas, who worked in the shadows to support Celia.

Celia: “I understand. And, I’ll make sure to not mess up this quest.” She said with a serious tone.

Midas: “Complete it, or fail the quest. It matters not. There just aren’t any F Rank Guild members around right now to do it. Again, this quest isn’t special in the least.” She once more explained.

The quest was F Rank, and, like Midas said, very basic, as well as unimportant. Either way, Celia somehow found herself getting into the Adventurer’s Guild through the backdoor, so she didn’t wish to squander this chance.

As such, Celia picked up the quest, and carefully read it over. Thankfully, in her boredom, the girl learned to read and write, so Celia didn’t need Midas’s help to understand the paper before her.

Celia: “Ah! This quests starts in a few hours…” She exclaimed in shock.

Midas: “Yes, that is why I need your help to do it. Typically, that company, Rever Trading, is patient, and has set times for their shipments.” She replied with a sigh.

Celia: “Typically?” She repeated with a head tilt.

Midas: “This time, they put up this quest… literally in the morning. Rever didn’t give us enough time, which is where you come in, Miss Celia.” She added with a nod. “Luckily, this gives me a good excuse to award Celia some gifts… hehe.” She said in her mind with a happy giggle.

  Celia: “…”
