This was the state of the Blueblood organization…but that never mattered to a certain Chief.
Carefully holding the profusely bleeding Zack, Rose burst into what was left of an infirmary, rousing dust and smoke from the interior. She marched into the darkened room, her boots crunched over shattered glass with every step.
Beds were overturned, the glass doors of cabinets shattered, and live wires were exposed – this was what the frantic Rose witnessed as she searched for anything, anywhere to help her dear partner.
“Shit!” Wasting no time, Rose kicked a bed back on all fours and placed Zack on it. Simultaneously, the director and Octavius marched inside.
“Dammit! My entire organization has been reduced to ruins!” The director yelled. “How did this happen the one time I left!?”
Rose had far more on her hands than responding to her boss’s complaints, as she scraped bandages from a broken cabinet.
“Don’t just stand there! Help me treat Zack!” Rose yelled as she wasted no time to use the bandage on Zack. “Find something…anything!”
“...It doesn’t look like Zack can survive those injuries,” Octavius muttered. “His injuries are–”
“SHUT UP! DON’T YOU DARE SAY HE’S NOT GOING TO SURVIVE!” Exploding with rage, Rose yelled. “I’LL KILL YOU IF YOU SAY THAT AGAIN!”
“Akright my bad…” Octavius muttered. It’s not like I want him to die, either.
“Help me stitch his open wounds if you understand!” Rose yelled. While the two bickered, the director’s gaze drifted to the side of the infirmary.
“Hmm, I never realized you care this much for Zack,” The director remarked as he marched over to the direction of where his gaze drifted. “But, it might be your lucky day.”
“Huh?”
Rummaging through a toppled over locker, the director retrieved a transparent container containing a clear liquid.
“...Is that?”
“Looks like some survived…and a good portion too - super soldier serum,” The director said. “This may be what Zack needs to pull himself from his dying state.”
“...How would that help him?” Rose questioned.
“The serum would strengthen his body and boost his system’s repair time,” The director explained. “As the name suggests, it’s a body enhancer.”
“But that stuff is a booster drug in a sense. His body may just reject it and he’ll die even faster!” Octavius rebutted. “And…it might make his addictions worse.”
“...Tsk, you freaking bastard,” Rose muttered.
“We’ve enhanced his body before with this stuff. His body is acclimated to it,” The director replied. “We don’t have much time to deliberate about this anyway…Zack’s condition is only going to get worse–”
“Do it,” Rose bluntly stated. “Please…save Zack.”
A devious smirk painted the face of the director upon hearing her plea.
“You really do care a lot about Zack, I’m glad. I also don’t want someone like him to die,” The director stated. “He’s more valuable than these buildings I can rebuild. We’ll quickly treat him and leave this place.”
“...Yeah.”

Ada stormed into her presidential office, unbuckling her coat as she entered. Leon and Nolan, her aides, closely following behind and stripping her now unneeded piece of clothing. She paused at her desk before lashing out with a kick at the poor wooden furniture with a brutal kick.
As the splintered desk skidded across the office and a cascade of pens, papers, notepad and even a telephone flung off to the ground, Charlotte and Frank spectated at the side of the room.
“Damn it! I’m kinda understanding how John Walker felt with these super soldiers!” Ada yelled. “They are so damn useless!”
“To think you graced them with your presence even though you had better things to occupy your time with, but they failed to provide results,” Nolan remarked. “They should be punished severely for their failures.”
“Yeah, what he said. The raid leader’s name was Owen Simmons, right?” Frank chimed in. “Let me teach him a lesson, Madam! I’ll smash his damn skull in for being incompetent.”
“No…don’t do anything to him. Despite how useless they’ve been, they still are my pets,” Rubbing her forehead, Ada replied. “They are pieces I need to become not only the god of this country, but this world. As much as they’re pissing me off, I’m near to achieving that goal.”
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
“Let’s just hope Rebecca White won’t be like the rest when she’s done with her Zero modifications,” Leon said.
RING, RING!
The phone which rested on the ground vibrated with a chime, and Charlotte wasted no time to grab it.
“Who’s calling me?” Ada questioned.
“...It seems to be Harvey Dexter, madam president,” Charlotte replied. “Should I reject the call?”
“...No, give it here,” Ada replied with an outstretched hand. Sigh, as if I wasn't already in a bad mood.
Charlotte handed her the phone and Ada answered.
“Hello?”
“Miss president…I’m happy to have gotten through to you,” On the other side of the phone, Harvey greeted. With him was his sister, Amelia Dexter, and they both resided in a hut. “It’s been so long since our last encounter.”
“Yes, it has. I take it you two are doing well, then,” Ada replied. “I would hope so.”
“Well, I wish we could say we’re doing well, but that’s certainly not the case. We’ve only been able to scrape by with what little we have, because we had to keep a low profile,” Harvey explained. “We always have to keep one eye open.”
“I see…I’m sorry to hear that,” Ada comforted. What is he getting at?
“What’s worse…we’re wondering if you’ve forgotten your word, Ms. President.”
“Huh? What did you say?”
“You promised to give us all that we need if we took your hand,” Harvey continued. “But you haven’t done a thing to help us.”
“...You and your sister are super high level criminals, so it would be difficult for me to immediately extend my help and not raise suspicion,” Ada responded. “Besides, I offered to help you because I needed a way to…spread my influence…you both know this.”
“And we would have no issue with carrying that out, but to us…family comes first,” Harvey said. “Those bastards killed my brother…it’ll only be right for you to help us eliminate his killers before anything.”
I see how it is…they’re resistant to my blessing because they themselves are blessed…and because they have a strong will. Ada pondered as she rubbed her face. How dare they put anything before me! I could give up their locations…but they’re too valuable to get rid of.
“Sigh, alright…I already promised you. You can put all faith in me,” Ada reassured. “Your revenge will come soon.”
“Thank you for your understanding,” Harvey said. “You really are different from my country.”
“Goodbye.”
Without hesitation, Ada hung up the phone.
“Tsk, dammit!’ In anger, she tossed the phone across the room. “Ungrateful bastards!”
“Did he say something to disrespect you, Madam!?” In response to her anger, her subordinates seemed alarmed, and Charlotte questioned. “How dare they!?”
...If only they were good pets like you guys.

After his humiliating scolding by the president, Mohawk was seen sitting by himself in anger. His quiet seething was interrupted by the approach of the Queen Deathbringer and Twintails.
“Well, well, well…if it isn’t the super soldier who believed himself to be the best,” Twintails mocked as she invaded Mohawk’s personal space. “There’s no way someone like you would be sitting alone, and sulking over a humiliating failure, right?”
“...Shut your damn mouth, Twintails.”
“Haha, what did you say? I couldn’t hear you properly,” Twintails continued to get under his skin. “I could have sworn the little failure told me to shut up.”
“I’VE ALREADY BEEN REPRIMANDED! I DON’T NEED TO HEAR FROM A MOUTHY WOMAN LIKE YOU!” Mohawk exploded. “Don’t you have anything better to do!? Like working on your aim!?”
“...Ah, hell naw. There’s no way you–”
“C’mon, that’s enough, Twintails…you guys are still allies,” Interjecting their bickering, the Queen Deathbringer said. “As he said, Mohawk already received reprimanding.”
“...Yeah.” Twintails muttered. “Hmph, he still deserves more.”
“Sigh, whatever.”
“I sent super soldiers to the criminal organization to hopefully clean up, but I doubt it’ll be a success,” The Queen Deathbringer remarked. “If they’re smart, they’d go into hiding.”
“...You’re just sending men to their death,” Mohawk muttered. “But you’re right…they’ll likely run away.”
“They really are stronger than we expected, huh?”
“That’s what I’ve been saying! Especially that plant controlling bitch!” Mohawk yelled. “But I freaking failed the president anyways.”
“...You really are taking it hard, huh?” Twintails uttered with a hint of concern. “You’re the last person I’d expect looking like a sad sack.”
“I believe I heard the Chief telling you to lay off!”
“Is it really that bad?” The Queen Deathbringer questioned.
“Huh?” Both Mohawk and Twintails uttered in tandem.
“You say you fail, but is that really the end of the world? Besides, you may not have eliminated them, but you dealt significant damage to their organization, right?” The Queen Deathbringer explained. “I understand how bad it must feel to be a failure in the president’s eyes…but I believe everyone can learn from their failures.”
Her words sparked surprise in Mohawk, before he turned his head away in shyness.
“...You’re just saying that because you and the old gen of super soldiers experienced failure a lot, so you learn to find good aspects,” Mohawk muttered. “Ah shit…I’m really becoming like you–”
BAM!
Twintails interrupted Mohawk’s words with a brutal downward hook to the top of his head. The air was roused as shockwaves danced around from her blow.
“Ugh! Ouch!” Mohawk yelled as his first instinct was to cling to his head. “What the hell-”
“Your damn superiority complex is too big! Can’t you see the Chief is trying to comfort you!?” Twintails yelled as she repeatedly struck him. “Or did your ego replace your damn brain!?”
“Ow! Alright! I get it! Stop!” Mohawk pleaded as he shielded himself.
“Fufu, so you two do get along,” Rousing a slight chuckle, the chief remarked. Twintails paused her abuse as the two super soldiers gazed at their chief with surprise.
“Ow! If you think, ouch! This is us getting along…ugh! You need to open those half closed eyes!” Mohawk replied.
“Wow, you came off as an ice cold woman, but that’s wrong,” Twintails said. “That’s the first time I’ve seen you laugh, even if it’s a little bit!”
The Queen Deathbringer’s eyes widened with bewilderment upon hearing that realization from Twintails.
“W-What? I-I laughed…didn’t I?”
