After receiving and reading the report from VAS, John was first shocked, then saddened. "VAS, how much mana does possession require?"

  "Full use of the ability requires 10 mana to cast it, and 0.05 mana per second to fully use the ability. Also, may I search the system hub for nanobot replication skills and knowledge?" replied VAS, adding a request as well.

  "Ten mana for the skill? I need 100 times more mana than I currently have. Wait, if we can replicate, can we fill the gap?" John was surprised and quickly asked VAS.

  "Yes, we just increase the size of the mana holder. So can I go?" asked VAS.

  "Before you go, you should analyze these two things before us." They were standing in front of two massive circular spheres of energy, and one of the energy spheres appeared to be glowing bright blue and connected to it by energy filaments. The second sphere was dull and gray and surrounded by white mist.

  On the visual screen, John saw the orbs light up five times in different ways before VAS left a virtual window in front of John just before Vas went to the system hub.

  John stared at the two orbs and thought to himself. "I am glad I was a slacker; at least I can adapt and accept that this world is far too different, otherwise those smart kids who were so good at science might have a nervous breakdown, while I could start learning all over again with ease."

  John had to take comfort in his future here. He will enjoy it to the fullest, and if he wakes up and it was all a dream, no loss, but better safe than sorry.
