Hi all!

  It's been ages since I last updated this story, and I'm sorry about that. But, I do have some good news!

  I wanted to let you all know that I've been working on a rewrite of Savage Utopia for quite some time now. I really love this story and its concepts, but I was disappointed with some shortcomings/missed opportunities that cropped up the first time around. I've taken my time to go over them and iron out as many as possible so readers will get the most enjoyable story I can produce.

  The new draft will follow roughly the same plot and star roughly the same cast, but certain world/story details and characters have been changed. The biggest (and hopefully most noticeable) change is the tweaks I made to the power system. I've had this rewrite on the backburner for months while I tinkered with the system to try and get it super clean so it can be used for really fun builds and creative fights. I'm super happy with what I've come up with, and I'm excited for people to get to read some of the fights I've written for it.

  The second biggest change is probably to the female MC. I've had to change her name because of some strange circumstances outside my control (don't ask), so she is now called Sam. I've kind of done a 180 flip on her character. I think it was a blunder on my part to have the one character who hasn't actually done anything to deserve being sent to this world just coincidentally be the same kind of crazy as everybody else. For this draft, she's more of a classically good Captain America type who contrasts very strongly against the other characters in the setting. I personally think it's a good change to the story that lets me make it much more striking thematically, with the contrast of Sam representing unbending idealism and Will representing ruthless pragmatism.

  I've got a pretty fat backlog built up, so I'll be posting 2x daily for the new version until the end of next week. After that, I'll be moving to a 3x weekly schedule. I hope you'll give the story a shot, and I really hope you'll enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it :)
