“Ok Shalltear, you take the three girls and capture the Quagoa,” he expined to her, “don’t make a mess as well. We don’t want to make a bad impression of the dwarves for messing up their city, and we can’t make a good impression if there is a mess either,” he told her, and Shalltear nodded.
“Of course, my darling,” Shalltear said while curtsying, “it shall be done.”
Ainz nodded at this, then turned to Aura and spoke to her as well. His voice was stern and expnative. Like he was he was talking to a child, which he was. Aura stood straight, absorbing the details. It was actually kind of cute the way she did so.
“You, Aeskell, and I, along with Zenberu will go and talk to the dwarve. You will speak with him first, as you are the most dwarve friendly looking person of the party, ok?” he expined, and she nodded her head rather vigorously.
He then nodded as well, and turned in the direction of the sounds of mining, as that was where the dwarve seemed to be. It was a bit strange in her mind, to do that here people who might be your enemies might be. At least, Aura assumed they were the enemy, after all, they seemed to be in this city without permission.
If they had been allies, then where would the dwarves that followed them be? It would only make sense, after all, to have them follow along.
“Ok, let’s do this!” Ainz said in glee.
…
Aura walked down the stone pathway. The sounds of the metal pickax hitting ore and stone rang true throughout the cavern. The sound of her footfalls didn’t even need to be muted as she walked closer to him.
With her lord and dy behind her, she confidently walked up to him and tapped him on his shoulder. She greeted him in a cheerful voice, her tone light and airy.
“Hey there mister,” she said, “I was wondering where all the dwarves are?” she asked in a serious, yet still light manner.
He jumped at this as she quickly moved back to the spot she had been in. moving just fast enough that he wouldn’t be able to see her move. As she did so, he ducked down and pulled what looked like a cloak over himself.
The magic that was baked into the cloak activated, and he vanished from her eyes, which surprised her somewhat. She could still see him rather pinly, yet the magic still took hold, and she still couldn’t make out his looks.
“Come on out. I can still see you,” she said as he began to slink away rather comically.
He stopped as she told him to. He then looked over to her, as if just noticing that she was a demi-human at all. Surprise colored his face, not that Aura could pinly make it out.
“A dark elf child?” he asked her, or seemingly more to himself, “what are you doing here? don’t you know that these abandoned cities are dangerous?” he asked her in exasperation.
“Well, my master is right around the corner,” she said, and peered at him as he pulled the cloak that kind of looked like a kid’s bnket from himself, “I came here as emissary of the, “Sorcerer Kingdom of Ainz Ooal Gown,” Aura said, and the dwarve simply shook his head in pity.
“I’m sorry little one, but I’m afraid that I don’t know of such a pce. Though, if your master is here I might as well give him a piece of my mind for sending you here alone,” he said, and Ainz thought that it was a good time to introduce himself.
“She was safe the whole time,” Ainz said as he and Aeskell appeared out of thing air,” Though, I do respect the want to give me an earful for sending her here. pleased to make your acquaintance. I am,” Yet, before he could even say his name, the dwarve panicked at the sight of him.
He simply screamed at the apparent monster. He grabbed Aura’s hand to try and run away from him. The man surely had a rather good set of morals to put Aura’s life in such high regard, even though it was slightly mispced.
“Please stop panicking,” Aura said, “that’s my master.”
He stopped at this, and looked at her, then Ainz, then finally Aeskell. He then turned to Ainz once more and spoke.
“Ok, sorry for that. I’ve just never met a lich before,” he said, and Ainz’s respect for the man rose considerably.
“Don’t be,” Aeskell intoned, “your reaction after the fact is just proof of your open mind and good morals,” she said, “I am Aeskell Ooal Gown, the second wife the undead you see before you, Ainz Ooal Gown.”

Shalltear stood there, with Wictoria, Tanya, and Erika standing by her side. The vampire really didn’t know what she was supposed to do. After all, she wasn’t as smart as her beloved, or Albedo, or even Pandora’s actor.
She felt as though this job was slightly above her. Sure, with the rather passionate nights with her beloved she had quickly learned that he didn’t really care about her mistake in the past, she still felt as though she was lesser. At least in terms of being able to be responsible. Did that make sense?
“Lady Shalltear, what are we actually going to do?” Erika asked with slight apprehension.
Shalltear, the living embodiment of the author’s spirit animal, looked down at the ten-year-old and sighed. She was nearly as tall as her. She really wanted her beloved to use the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown to make her more adult looking, but he refused.
“We are going to capture these fools, and then maybe kill them for levels; depending on what Lord Ainz says ter,” she said, and the three of them nodded, “while we are doing this Lord Ainz, Aeskell, and Aura as well as that lizardman are going to ask the dwarve some questions.”
As she finished expining, she opened her inventory and put on her armor. The three other girls looked at her after she did so. The three of them had never actually seen the floor guardian use her armor in real life before.
The four of them were all standing on a roof, with Hanzos standing guard around them. The building that they were on was squat, made of stone and bnd. The utter ck of extravagance was slightly sad to the three princesses. Shalltear didn’t really care.
Shalltear got ready to jump down. She pnned to capture the lot of them with the spell, “Mass hold Species.” It was a rather simple spell, one that would make this job a lot easier. Yet, as she was about to do so, she got a message from Ainz.
She stopped herself from jumping down on the unsuspecting demi-humans and answered. Soon, she heard the voice of the one to her heart belonged to and she smiled. The other girls noticed her and her actions, and Tanya went to ask a question, until she shushed her with a finger to her lips.
“Shalltear, do you hear me?” he asked, and Shalltear sent an affirmative, “good. You can kill the lesser Quagoa. The leader is the one we wish to keep. He should have blue or red fur tufts. We will be there shortly,” he told her and she sent an affirmation, as well as a mental image of her curtsying.
After he shut off the line, she turned to the three princesses. She then spoke, her words flowing easily from her mouth. They listened with open ears.
“Ok, we are allowed to kill all but the leader. Also, my lord is coming here shortly, so we want to do this quick. I will leave the leader of the group alive, you three will kill the rest,” she said, and the others nodded their heads, “now, what are you three using to kill them?”
Wictoria pulled a Steyr M1912 pistol from her inventory, and Tanya looked at her as if she had grown a second head. Wictoria looked back at her with slight confusion. This was due to the fact that the pistol she was carrying didn’t exist in her timeline, so she simply thought it was a cool pistol.
“What?” she asked with a cute tilt of her head.
Erika just looked at the whole thing with slight exasperation.
