The search for friends continues back in the town of Amia. Mizuki looks around, along with her group, in search for finding Sadako. The party called out for Sadako as there was no sign of her or her voice.

  On the tall building, Sadako is stuck in her pce. The five-story building is very high, and she has nowhere to get back down. Sadako looks out to find where her allies are. Then, she caught a glimpse of seeing a group walking by. She eyed carefully and that is when she saw Mizuki, Saeko, Obsidian, and someone else whose riding on an Owlbear.

  "Help!! HELP!!"

  Sadako shouted out from above as she hopes for the party to hear her. However, they did not hear from her. Sadako quickly develops magic and cast her spell out into the air. Mystical wisps of fireworks were up in the air as it fred. The party became alert as they saw the fireworks dispy that is seen on top of a building.

  "What's that up there?" Matokai asked.

  "Hmmm?" Mizuki looks very carefully and notices the figure on top of the building. "Its Sadako! She's up there!"

  "Really?" Obsidian asked. "How did she winded up there?"

  "That's crazy." Saeko said. "But...did she walked all the way up there and got trapped?"

  "I'll enter inside and save her." Obsidian said.

  "Hey! I'm coming with you!" Matokai said.

  "Be careful." Mizuki said.

  Obsidian heads for the front entrance of the abandoned building. He used his weapon to knock down the boards to expose his way through the entrance. Entering inside, Obsidian and Matokai went through the maze structure of the building as they were looking for a way up. It took the pair a while to get through the run-down building and make their way to the top floor. From there, they find the opening of the roof. The pathway to the roof is missing a dder.

  "I can't get up there." Obsidian said. "We need to reach up there if we're going to save Sadako."

  "Leave that to me!" Matokai said.

  Matokai leads the way as she used the walls. She bounces her way up to the top and then Matokai holds the handle to untch the lock to open the hatch. Matokai makes her way on the rooftop to see Sadako.

  "Oh!" Sadako said, seeing a ninja coming up to save her.

  "Hey! That firework dispy...was that coming from you?" Matokai asked.

  "Yes. That was me." Sadako said and asked. "Hey, you're that same ninja I saw from the forest! What brings you to save me?"

  "It's a long story." Matokai said. "I know you've missed out a lot that went on and I am with Shokei's party."

  "Why...oh right. I was put unconscious." Sadako said.

  "How did you end up here?" Matokai asked.

  "I..." Sadako paused. She tried to recall what happened to her, but the spell that Bck Death cast on her made her forget. "I-I don't remember..."

  "Anyways, me and one of your allies are here to get you down." Matokai said. "C'mon."

  Sadako was brought down carefully by Matokai as she held her by the arms. Obsidian waits for Sadako to be captured in his arms as he caught her. After saving one of their own allies, the group reunites back with Saeko and Mizuki.

  "There you are." Mizuki said, seeing Sadako returning back to the party.

  "What happened to you?" Saeko asked. "Did you recalled anything on how you ended up on the rooftop?"

  "...No..." Sadako said, shaking her head. "I don't recall anything on being stuck on the roof."

  "Weird..." Saeko said with a puzzled look. "Something must have happened to you. Seriously."

  "I don't know what happened or how I got up there...but I guess I'm ok." Sadako said.

  "Do you remember us?" Mizuki asked.

  "Ohh, I hope it's not amnesia...you're not affected by amnesia, are you?" Saeko asked.

  "No! Of course not!" Sadako replied. "I still remember who you guys are. It's just that I don't know how I got stuck up that roof."

  "I see." Saeko said.

  "So, what did I missed? Any word on finding the book?" Sadako asked.

  "The book is not found here." Saeko said. "I found a map that leads to a tower. There could be a chance to find the book there."

  "Really?" Sadako asked.

  "Yep." Saeko nodded.

  "The rest of the party is trying to find Shokei and her group at the moment." Mizuki said. "We should head back to the central square of this town and wait for them to return."

  "Hopefully our other friends should get back to us." Saeko said.

  "I'm sure they will." Mizuki said. "Come. Let's head back."

  Sadako rejoined her party as they head back to the central area of Amia.

  In a forest section of Amia, Marie and her group are walking up on the pathway that leads to the abandoned sewing factory. The party continues the way there and they track the footprints that lead to the pce.

  "You think that Shokei and our friends went this way?" Kichiro asked.

  "Looks like it." Marie said.

  "I'm sure that they went this way." Beatrice said. "The steps did show that they walked on this path."

  "I'm curious to where this leads to." Naoko said.

  "Say, over there!"

  Ferron points out to the party as he sees figures coming their way. The party stops as they look to see familiar faces coming to them.

  "Wait...is that..." Marie noticed the figures and shouted. "S-Shokei! Mariko!!"

  "It's them...but..." Beatrice noticed that something was wrong. "Where's Rei and Lei?"

  "We'll have to find out." Marie said.

  Shokei and Mariko noticed that their allies are coming for them. The pair reunited with their members.

  "Shokei?" Marie asked. "Are you all right."

  "Yes...I'm fine." Shokei said.

  "What...what happened to Rei and Lei?" Naoko asked.

  "We can't find them." Mariko said. "We checked the factory, and they weren't there."

  "It's not like Rei to leave and head back to the city to meet with you guys." Shokei said.

  "Actually...we have not seen her or Lei during our search." Ferron said.

  "Maybe one of them was too scared of the pce and probably headed back to find one of you guys." Naoko said.

  "Either way, I bet Lei was scared of coming here." Shokei predicted. "We should find them back at the city."

  "Hmm...did anything bad happened to you two while you were..."

  "At the factory?" Shokei asked, finishing Marie's sentence.

  "Yeah, you looked shaken up..." Marie said. "And tired."

  "I was ambushed..." Shokei said to her. "But long story short, Mariko saved me from being trapped in a terrifying situation."

  "Really?" Naoko asked.

  "We'll talk ter." Shokei said. "We should head back to the town."

  "Ok." Marie nodded.

  The party heads back to the town of Amia. When they arrived, Shokei can see that the rest of her party is all waiting for her and Mariko to return. She noticed that the ninja Matokai is among the party.

  "Shokei!" Mizuki said. "You returned."

  "Hey! Where's Rei and Lei?" Saeko asked.

  "Over here."

  The voice of Rei can be heard. The party turns to see that Rei and Lei has reunited back with the party. Rei looks fully awake as she returned to the party.

  "Where were you?" Shokei asked.

  "Funny you should ask such a question." Rei said.

  "Not funny I should say, but...where were you?" Shokei asked.

  "Let's just say that I was ambushed in that factory." Rei said.

  "Hmmph. You got some expining to do." Shokei said.

  Rei sighed. She felt Lei's hand on her shoulder, indicating that it was going to be ok.

  "I don't know what happened, but it seems that all of you have something to say." Shokei said.

  Later in the evening, the party is at the mansion altogether. They are having a discussion on what went on during their search in Amia.

  "Now that we're all here, what just happened to all of you while I was with my group?" Shokei asked.

  "We searched for the book around this mansion, but its not here." Tamiko said.

  "However, we have good and bad news to tell you." Marie said.

  "What's the good news?" Shokei asked.

  "We managed to find out where the book is found." Tamiko said, showing the map to Shokei. "With this map, we can tell where we need to go."

  "Hmm, I see." Shokei said, taking a gnce at the map.

  "This map would show us where the tower is located if we follow it." Tamiko said.

  "But why is it so far away?" Mariko asked. "You mean the book is found in there?"

  "Seems like it." Tamiko tells her.

  "Then what about the bad news?" Shokei asked.

  "Unfortunately, that crazy witch Necromutant struck at us again." Marie said. "We fought a powerful demon that nearly destroyed us."

  "With the help of that ninja, we were saved and helped us defeat that vile demon." Beatrice said.

  "I heard the incident that went on here and Ohelio sensed danger." Matokai tells Shokei. "That's when I found the foul demon that attacked your friends."

  "I had an encounter by that same Necromutant." Shokei said, recalled her side of the story. "That bitch trapped me in a gss casket, filled with bugs that had left me to die by screaming my lungs out."

  "Ewww! That's gross!" Marie said, feeling disgusted.

  "Ughhhh...can't imagine being trapped in a casket with bugs..." Naoko said, feeling chills.

  "Yeah...it was mind screwing." Shokei said. She tried not to think about that moment. "I was totally distracted by the enemy."

  "I see..." Marie said.

  The party then turns their attention on Rei and Lei. The pair have been quiet within the group conversation. Lei recalled what Rei was doing in the factory and she nudged her on the shoulder.

  "Oh right! I nearly forgot." Rei said. She takes out the paper with numbers. "I found this when I was at the abandoned factory. Not sure what the numbers are but they could be a clue leading to something."

  Rei goes over and hands the paper to Shokei. Looking into the paper, Shokei sees the numbers and notice that certain numbers have been circled.

  "Hmm, these numbers... Why are they circled?" Shokei asked.

  "Not sure, but I'm sure the numbers may lead to something." Rei said to her.

  Looking at the numbers, Shokei checks the map and views it again. The map does show the tower that is found from Amia, and the tower is found in a mountain.

  "I have a feeling that walking to this tower is going to take a while." Shokei said.

  "Great..." Marie said, not too happy about this.

  "I think that our search for the book lead to nothing today." Mariko said, feeling disappointed. "We should just call it for today."

  "Hey, its evening now." Rei said, yawning. "We should sleep here until we set off for the tower tomorrow."

  "Agreed." Shokei said. "It's been a really long day for all of us. We should rest here for the night."

  The party agreed and they went off to different rooms within the abandoned mansion to stay in for the evening.

  In the middle of the night, Shokei and her party are resting inside the mansion. While the party sleeps peacefully, one of them was awake. Marie had a hard time sleeping.

  Uhhhh...I feel strange...I can't sleep at all...my head hurts...

  Marie could not find comfort in finding sleep. She gets up and leaves her party behind and exits out of the mansion. She exited to the back end of the mansion to walk outside of the backyard area. Marie looks to find that she is at the flower garden section. The flowers still bloom despite the mansion being abandoned. Marie looks up at the sky and sees the moon was shining brightly.

  At least the moon is shining up nicely...huh?!

  Marie felt something tingly within her. She felt trapped as she continues to gaze at the moon. Her body feels tense as she feels a twitching sensation that is affecting her.

  I-I can't move!! Uhhhhhhh...wh-what's happening?! I can't look away from the moon!! I...I feel...strange...

  Unable to resist gazing at the moon, Marie felt a big change that is effective her. She feels her body shivering and then she went down on her knees as she can feel her body undergoing a transformation. Marie wanted to call for help, but she was unable to do so. Marie made an unexpected growl, coming out from her breath. Suddenly, Marie looks to see the change that is happening to her as her hands are turning to fur and her nails getting sharper. She also feels her teeth changing into sharp jaws. Everything that is affecting Marie is transforming her to become a wild monster. The clothes that Marie have on her is tearing apart. Marie tried to shut her eyes, as she wants to avoid staring up at the moon. She did and goes down on her knees to make the transformation does its work.

  Soon, the transformation was complete. Marie no longer feels anything else emerged from her body. She opens her eyes to see herself. Now she sees herself in blue fur. Her nails are now sharp, and her feet are already in paws. She finds herself standing and notice that her stomach has white fur. Marie can feel her waist behind, and she sees that there is a long tail.

  W-What is this?! W-W-What a-am T turned into?!

  Marie looks around to find a mirror somewhere in the backyard. She spots a small bucket contained with water. Going over, Marie looks at her reflection to find out what she has become.

  Oh! Oh no! By gods, I...I have turned into...A Werecat?!

  Marie felt shocked and surprised to see what she had become. She became a humanoid-type animal. Her instincts as a Werecat are taking over as nature was calling out to her. She runs and leaps over the gates of the backyard.

  It's like my body is making me move...N-No...I can't let Shokei or anyone else see me like this! No! Not like this!

  Marie as the Werecat takes off running by foot. She runs with both arms and legs as she escaped into the forest. Marie feels herself running faster than before. She continues to run through the forest as she felt the wind breezing through her face. Her blue furred skin felt the touch of winds and then she made her way to a cliff. Stopping in pce, Marie looks to see the moon illuminating in her face. Then she positions herself up and made a loud, growling sound. Her roaring voice echoed out in the opening field. Marie looks to see the wilderness on top as the endless trees and a river is seen below. Then, she turned around and wanders off into the forest.
