Chapter 010

  Uncertain Allies

  Riku wakes up in the morning as there's a warm bowl of food next to him and Riku quickly eats as he stands up and thinks

  "I want to speak more with Sensei, now that I can think straight!" Riku walks out of his room but he notices everything is completely silent inside the house and he quickly walks downstairs as he sees Itsuki,Dai, Kenji and Kingsman leaving out as Kingsman closes the door behind them but Riku says

  “Sensei!” Kingsman turns around and is *shocked* as he says

  “Oh you're up, I thought you were going to sleep all day again and not train” Riku is *confused* as he says

  “Why wouldn’t I?” Kingsman says

  “You’ve been sleeping for an entire day, Riku” Riku is *shocked* as he says

  “What!? No it was only for a few hours, we fought last night” Kingsman *chuckles* as he says

  “That fight was two days ago!” Riku says

  “No!…I couldn't have been out for a day it didn’t feel like–” Kingsman says

  “Riku, relax! You're a warrior, sometimes your body collapses for a few days after a hard fight or training session” Riku sits down at the kitchen table as he says

  “If I've been out for that long then that means we’ve only got a couple of days left before we have to leave” Kingsman *chuckles* as he says

  “Not exactly, me and Kaito have decided instead of leaving at the end of the week were sending you all three days before the end of the week that way we'll know exactly when you all should get here” Riku is *nervous* as he says

  “What if something happens while we're out there?” Kingsman says

  “Well that’s why we were sending Kenshin and Saigo with you all, you all should be fine. I gave them both some training in the past, but it would take them a couple days to get back here if something truly bad happened. How about this!” Kingsman puts his darkness around his fingers as he walks over too Riku and puts his fingers on Riku’s neck as a seal appears on his neck and Kingsman says

  “I don’t want you accidentally activating this seal, so if you feel like the situation is dire put two fingers on your neck and then cast your wind into this spot and it will show me what you see and then I'll be on the way, but the situation has too be life or death because when I come there I'll be breaking the peace treaty. With me breaking the peace treaty it allows all the other regions to attack us all at once with no repercussions, so this seal can only be activated if one of your lives are on the line. Other than that send Kenshin or Saigo back to get me and I’ll send you all some warriors of my own, do you understand Riku?” Riku says

  “I understand Sensei I won’t activate it unless we are in a dire situation, I won’t let you down Sensei I promise!” Kingsman *smiles* as he says

  “I know you won’t, now let’s get over too the village” Riku stands up as him and Kingsman walk outside into the backyard and Kenji is *shocked* as he says

  “I thought you wouldn’t be coming with us!” Itsuki *smiles* and says

  “I knew we wouldn’t leave him behind” Dai says

  “I don’t need any of you, go sit down and let the real warriors handle this!” Kingsman says

  “Enough! Let’s get this over with” Everyone walks down the hill as Dai says

  "This should be fun! I'll handle this problem quickly and bring you back something special Sensei!" Kingsman *laughs* as he says

  "If you find anything truly valuable in that region, I don't want it!" Dai *laughs* as he says

  "Alright, more for me then!" Itsuki says

  "Is there anything we need to know about the enemies we're going to face?" Kingsman says

  "I could tell you all of their abilities and weaknesses, but fighting them isn't your main priority unless you believe you can bring them all down! But this will be a good showing of skill and a great way to train all of you, analyze them and when you return I want you to tell me all four of their abilities and weaknesses!" Dai says

  "How would we know their weakness if our main priority isn't fighting them?" Kingsman says

  "Weaknesses aren't always physical, some people can't use their abilities properly under immense stress. That's a weakness, an easily exploitable weakness. If you all wish to pass this test it will take a keen eye and a bit of luck" They all make it to the bottom of the hill and turn towards the gate as they see Kaito and Gyomei standing with two others and Kingsman walks over to them as he says

  “I'm putting their lives in your hands, but your lives are in mine. If any of you show up without them I'll make sure you have a nice burial!” Dai walks over to the two men and says

  "Who the hell are you two!?" Gyomei steps in front of them and says

  "These are my brothers, Kenshin step forward!" Kenshin steps forward on Gyomei's left as Gyomei says

  "This is my brother Kenshin, his is very strong and you can count on him to protect you! Step forward Saigo!" Saigo steps forward on Gyomei's right as Gyomei looks at Kenji,Riku, and Itsuki as he says

  "Since the rest of you are more capable, Saigo will be supporting you and covering you when I cannot!" Dai's fire surges as he says

  "What did you say!?" Kingsman walks over and stands next to Kaito as he says

  “This is very dangerous!” Kaito says

  “This is our only chance to keep our villagers and families alive” Kaito steps up as he says

  “I appreciate all of you for your sacrifices and want too thank you personally, and when all of you get back we will celebrate a victory for peace through out the world and when I see you again I hope it will be with smiles because of the deliciousness of the food of your victories!” Kingsman turns around as he kicks open the gate and screams

  “NOW GO AND DON’T ANY OF YOU DARE RETURN WITHOUT THE OTHERS OR ELSE!” They all walk out of the gate as Kingsman and Kaito watch them all walk away and Kingsman turns to Kaito as he says

  "I trained mine well, lets see if yours are trained well enough to keep up!” Kaito is *shocked* as he says

  “Yours hasn’t even beat mine yet, of course mines are trained well!” Kaito and Kingsman *laugh* as they both turn around and walk back into the village as everyone continues walking away from the village and Dai looks at Kenshin and Saigo as he says

  “How can we trust all of you to get us there?” Saigo says

  “We are lord Kaito’s best warriors, we will get you children too the Fujiwara region safe” Dai says

  “Who the hell are you calling a child, you ugly bastard!” Kenshin *laughs* as he says

  “Children with tempers, I see” Dai gets *angry* as he rushes in front of Kenshin and shoots a fireball at him but Gyomei puts his hand up blocking the fireball as he says

  “We don't have time for this, just keep up!” Gyomei rushes forward as he quickly disappears in the distance and Kenshin and Saigo both look at each other as they *laugh* but they both rush forward quickly disappearing in the distance and Dai is *shocked* as he says

  “What the hell are you idiots doing!?” Suddenly Riku dashes past him as he disappears in the distance and Dai is *stunned* as he says

  “What the hell is wrong with you!?” Itsuki walks up next to Dai as he says

  "You should really keep up!" Itsuki smacks Dai across the back of his head and Dai tries to punch him but Itsuki quickly rushes forward disappearing in the distance as Kenji *laughs* and says

  “Keep up if you can!” Dai turns around as he says

  "Wait-" Kenji dashes past him and Dai turns around as Kenji running down the path and Dai throws a giant fireball towards him but Kenji stomps on the ground causing an Ice wall to shoot up out of the ground blocking the fireball and the fireball crashes into the wall causing dirt to kick up all over the place but as the dirt clears Kenji is gone and Dai rushes forward until he stops and *holds his chest in exhaustion* as he slowly starts walking forward and thinks

  “Where the hell did all of them go that fast!?” Dai continues walking until he stops outside the edge of a forest and he slowly walks into the forest but he notices a shadowy figure standing on the path and he thinks

  “There one of you bastards are!” Dai rushes into the trees and quickly stalks the shadowy figure through the trees and Dai stops next to the shadowy figure but he notices the shadowy figure is too tall and he hesitates to step out as suddenly two more shadowy figures walk up to the first one and Dai notices one of them is bigger than Gyomei,Saigo, and Kenshin as he also notices the other one is to small to be Gyomei, Saigo, and Kenshin but to tall to be any of his teammates and The First Unknown Man says

  "What the hell took both of you so long!?" Dai is *shocked* as he notices he doesn't recognize the voice as An Unknown Women says

  “We have time, we don’t have too be back to the region for another day and plus we already got what we need. So why not take our time and enjoy the beauty of there region before its covered in blood” The Second Unknown Man says

  “Exactly, so stop nagging all the time” The First Unknown Man says

  “We have a schedule to make, and if were late they’ll kill us! So no I won't stop nagging because my life is on the line!” The Second Unknown Man gets in The First one’s face as he says

  “Correction they kill the weak, like you Hironaka! Not the strong, people like me are more important than you!" Hironaka says

  “You think they care because you have a little bit of power Matsuno, No! We fail them and you die with us!” Matsuno grabs Hironaka's shirt as he says

  “Would you like to see how powerful I truly am!?” The Unknown Women says

  “We don’t have time for this Matsuno, release him! Now!'' Matsuno looks at The Women as she steps towards him and Matsuno lets go of Hironaka as he says

  “Next time, Tahara won’t be here too save you! And you’ll have to pay for what you say” Tahara says

  “But not today, Naky is under my protection. So let’s go you two, I don't need a stain on my reputation as leader because one of you don't make it back!” Tahara turns around as she walks away and Matsuno is staring at Hironaka but Tahara voice echoes through the forest as she says

  "Get up here Matsuno, now!" Matsuno *clenches his fist in anger* as he says

  "...Yes, ma'am!" Matsuno turns as he walks down the path and Hironaka turns to walk away but Dai leans forward to much and snaps a small twig underneath his foot and Hironaka looks towards the sound but he can't see anything through the dense trees and Hironaka crouches down as he brushes off his shoes and he slowly stands up as he turns and walks away and he disappears in the distance as Dai slowly walks from behind the trees into the middle of the path and Dai thinks

  “We have invaders from another region here! What the hell were they talking about? What did they get from us!? I'll have to warn the others'' Dai takes a step but suddenly chains made out of water shoot out of the ground clasping around his wrist and Dai is *shocked* as he says

  “What the hell is this!?” Dai tries to pull his arms forward to break the chains but suddenly another chain shoots out of the ground wrapping around his neck and Dai gets *angry* as he says

  "Who the hell do you think I am!" Dai's fires surges across his hand but suddenly the water in his chains flow across his hands extinguishing his fire and Dai *screams in anger* as he charges a giant wave of fire in his mouth but the chain around his neck creates a water bubble around his head and Dai starts drowning as he violently tries breaking the chains on his wrist and he drops to one knee as he thinks

  “This can’t be how I die…Not me…I won’t die like this!” Dai starts to pass out but his fire violently surges across his hands again causing the water around his hands to boil as he starts shooting fire from his mouth and all the chains start slowly evaporating until fire explodes off of Dai's chest burning away all the water as he's launched back and slammed into a tree and Dai starts *coughing up water* as he slows his breathing and thinks

  “I’ll kill whoever that was…For thinking he could kill me like that!” Dai tries to stand up but he falls back onto the tree as he passes out until he feels someone violently shaking him and he slowly opens his eyes as he sees Riku shaking him and Dai slowly looks up at everyone standing over as Riku is *concerned* and says

  “Dai, are you ok!?” Kenshin *chuckles* as he says

  “Guess he got tired after he couldn’t keep up” Saigo *laughs* as Dai slowly stands up and says

  “There are people from another region here...And they're planning on killing us! I think they are from the Fujiwara region!” Kenshin says

  “You must have had a bad dream, our entire region has warriors all over it. If any other member of any other regions even stepped foot in our region or any of our other villages we would have known immediately” Dai says

  “Obviously your warriors didn’t know they were here and they failed to do there jobs” Saigo says

  “That enough from you, our warriors have never let any enemies slip into this region undetected before!” Dai says

  “I’m not lying there three of them, one of there name's is…It's…Uhh...I can’t remember there names but that doesn’t mean I'm lying!” Gyomei says

  “Nobody unknown has been in the region, definitely not this close to the main village we would have already found them but we’ll keep a eye out just in case! Now let’s go, we still have a long way to travel before we get close too the Fujiwara region” They all start walking again and Kenji puts his hand on Dai's shoulder as he says

  “Are you sure you saw people Dai?” Dai says

  “Yeah it was three of them, we have to watch out for them! They could have set up more traps” Riku is *confused* as he says

  “More traps? You got caught by one before?” Dai says

  “I almost drowned by one, it was like some water chains that wrapped around my hands and neck” Riku says

  “What did the trap look like before it went off?” Dai says

  “I don’t know, I was just walking after they left the spot and suddenly chains shot out of the ground!” Kenji says

  “But Gyomei said it would be impossible for them to get this close without them noticing” Itsuki *laughs* as he says

  “I wouldn’t put it past him having a bad dream, and believing it was real!” Riku says

  “But on the chance that it isn’t just a dream, everyone be careful!” They all step out onto a path separating in three ways and Gyomei looks at the sky as he sees the sun starting to set and he says

  “We’ve wasted too much time, we won’t be able to make it to the other village without having to walk in darkness!” Riku says

  “What are we going to do then?” Gyomei says

  “There should be a house on the trail in front of us, Yokota lives there. He’s an old warrior who left the village to get away from everyone, we could ask him if we can spend the night there because if not we sleep in the forest! But the most annoying bugs come out at night!” Kenji says

  “All right then, but we might want to hurry up and find the house before it gets too dark and we get lost” Gyomei says

  “Let’s go” Everyone starts walking on the path straight ahead but Dai is staring off the path to his right as he notices two shadowy figures standing far down that path but it's too dark for him to see there face as he takes a step towards them but a hand grabs his shoulder and says

  "We're going this way, Dai!" Dai looks over and sees Itsuki holding his shoulder and he quickly looks back down the path but there gone and Dai *gets angry* as he says

  "Damn it, not again!" Dai starts walking down the path but Itsuki tightly grips his shoulder as he says

  “Were going straight idiot, now lets go” Dai says

  "You didn't see them!?" Itsuki says

  "No, but we need to go before we get left and have to find our way to a place we've never been in the dark!" Itsuki pulls Dai back with the rest of the group as they all walk down the path ahead of them until they all see a old house on the edge of a bamboo forest and Kenshin starts knocking on the door as he says

  “Hello! Anyone there!? We're warriors from Lord Kaito and we wish to speak with you!” Riku walks up and looks through a window as he turns to Kenshin and says

  “Kenshin, I don’t think you have to worry about announcing yourself” Dai walks up to the door and opens it and steps in as he says

  “What the hell happened here?” Everyone walks in behind him as they all notice the house is trashed as there a flipped over couch with holes in it, a flipped over dinner table with slashes across it and holes in the walls all over and Gyomei is *shocked* as he says

  “Yokota was supposed to live here, he would never let his house get like this! Where is he?” Dai says

  “See, those three people did this! They came in ransacked the place and killed everyone in here, that’s why he's not here now!” Gyomei looks around as he says

  “There’s no blood anywhere, and Yokota was a warrior even in his old age he still would have fought to protect his home until he couldn’t move!” Riku says

  “He could have moved out and animals could have come in and destroyed the house, thats why there's no blood or any sighs of a fight” Kenshin says

  “That's possible as well and since he never visits any of the villages, we would truly never know when he left!" Gyomei says

  “Find a spot and hope you don't get bit by something!” Gyomei walks over and flips over the couch as he lays down and Kenshin flips back over the table and lays down on top of it as Saigo grabs some chairs and lays across them and Riku, Dai, Kenji,and Itsuki find a spot as everyone goes to sleep but suddenly Kenji is awaken by a noise on the roof as he looks around in the pitch black house and Kenji whips his eyes as he thinks

  "Was I dreaming?" Suddenly Kenji hears a noise from outside and Kenji stands up as he notices a shadow pass by the window and Kenji walks outside as he hears whispering coming from the bamboo forest and Kenji is *confused* as he says

  "Who would be out here this late at night!? Are they lost?" Kenji slowly walks into the bamboo forest as he notices a thick fog around him and he thinks

  "I could see how someone could get lost out here, but-" Suddenly Kenji hears gentle humming from all around him and Kenji thinks

  "No! They are far too calm to be lost in here, is this a trap!? Are these the people Dai was talking about?" Kenji takes a step back but suddenly something drops down in front of him and he tries to look at there face but the thick fog wraps around them completely only leaving there eyes illuminated and Kenji stares into the dark yellow eyes until the eyes fade back in the fog as gentle singing echos through the bamboo forest and Kenji thinks

  "I've never seen those eyes before, but that singing...Feels so familiar! It feels like it's calling to me, it feels...Like it needs me!" Kenji slowly walks forward through the thick fog and stops as he sees the silhouette of a women dancing in front of the moon as she's singing and the thick fog slowly clears around them and Kenji is *shocked* as he sees Akita singing until she slowly looks over at him and Kenji slowly walks up to her as he says

  “Mom, what are you doing here?” Akita touches Kenji's face as she *smiles* and says

  “I wanted to make sure you're safe, I was worried about you!” Kenji hugs Akita as he says

  "We're ok mom, but if dad knows you're all the way out here he wouldn't hesitate to come get you! Wait, mom how did you find-" Suddenly Kenji feels *a sharp pain in his stomach* and Kenji stumbles back as he *holding his stomach in pain* and he slowly looks down as he sees a stab wound in his stomach and Kenji is *stunned* as he slowly looks up at Akita and says

  “Mo-Mom…W-Why?” Kenji is *shocked* and he notices Akita with a *malicious smile* as she’s still illuminated by the moon while holding a black dagger and Akita *chuckles* as she says

  “What’s wrong, Kenji? Are you hurt?” Akita takes a step towards him and Kenji takes a step back as he drops to one knee and says

  "Mom...You hurt me!" Akita says

  "I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean too!" Akita reaches for Kenji's face but Kenji steps back as he says

  "No!" Kenji drops to one knee as he *spits up blood* and Akita kneels down as she says

  "Kenji, please move your hand! I need to help you!" Kenji slowly moves his hand but Akita stabs Kenji in the same spot as she pushes his head making him fall back and Akita stands up as she slowly walks into the bamboo and Kenji *screams in pain* as he slowly looks at the black dagger sticking out of his stomach and he *struggles to control his breathing* as he slowly reaches down and tries to pull the black dagger out but he *screams in pain* as he slowly stands up and looks around until suddenly a voice behind him says

  “Kenji, is that you? Are you ok?” Kenji slowly turns around as he sees Itsuki standing behind him and Kenji reaches out for him as he *weakly* says

  “Itsuki…Help” Kenji slowly walks towards Itsuki but he falls and Itsuki catches him before he hits the ground as he props Kenji up on his shoulder and Itsuki is *shocked* as he notices the black dagger sticking out of his stoamch and says

  “Who did this Kenji!?” Kenji opens his mouth but he *coughs up blood* and Itsuki looks at the black dagger as he says

  “Kenji, I have to take this out!” Kenji *weakly* says

  “Do...It!” Itsuki sits Kenji on the ground as he crouches down and grabs the black dagger as he says

  “On three, I'll pull it out...One!” Itsuki suddenly yanks the black dagger out of Kenji's stomach as Kenji *screams in pain* and Itsuki says

  "Sorry, if you anticipated it the pain would have been worse!" Itsuki stands up as he gently picks Kenji up and puts Kenji’s arm over his shoulder as they start walking back towards the house and Itsuki says

  “Who did this to you Kenji!?” Kenji *weakly* says

  “I don’t know who they were, but they looked just like my mother!” Itsuki stops walking and Kenji is *confused* until he looks at Itsuki and notices the same *malicious smile* as Itsuki says

  “I did a good job didn’t I!” Kenji is *confused* as he *weakly* says

  “What?” Itsuki stabs Kenji with the black dagger as he pushes him back and Kenji slams onto the ground as he *screams in pain* and Itsuki slowly walks around Kenji as he says

  "So you're the son of Kingsman! Honestly I expected better, but truthfully he is the only one to ever escape my gaze! I'm glad we have some alone time, I hoped I wouldn't have to kill all of you at once just to get to you!" Kenji *weakly* says

  "...Why!?" Itsuki *laughs* as he says

  "You should know why, your father sent you to invade us! Which we discovered when we invade you all, isn't that ironic! But the reason I wanted you is because of how valuable you are, and I couldn't risk Hironaka or Matsuno ruining my plans! So I had to temporarily dissolve our team, since I know after you all don't come back Kingsman is going to rush in blinding and I'll be here waiting for him! After his death I'll present you to my lord and we'll use you to bring Kaito to use, and you get the point after that!" Kenji slowly pushes himself to his feet as he *coughs up blood* and slowly looks up at Itsuki as he *weakly* says

  “Who...Are you!?” Itsuki says

  “I am everyone!” Itsuki jumps into the bamboo as Kingsman jumps out and says

  “That!” Kingsman jumps back in the bamboo as Kaito jumps out and says

  “You!” Kaito jumps back into the bamboo as Hana jumps out and says

  “Love!” Hana jumps back into the bamboo as Kenji is *shocked* and stumbles back as he sees hundreds of eyes surrounding him but as the moon beams down Kenji is fully able to see the face of everyone he loves all coming out of the bamboo and Kenji turns around and slowly stumbling back towards the house as he's looking over his shoulder but he trips as he falls onto his stomach pushing the dagger deeper as he *cries out in pain* and blood starts pouring from his mouth as suddenly a voice says

  “Kenji! What are you doing?” Kenji rolls over on his back as he slowly stands up and he looks up but his eyes are blurry until he squints and notices Gyomei standing in front of him and Gyomei is *shocked* as he says

  “What happened to you!?” Kenji *weakly* screams

  “STAY AWAY FROM ME!” Kenji puts his hand up but he’s *shaking with fear* as Gyomei is *concerned* and says

  “Come here Kenji, you’re hurt! We have to get to the other village so we can get you treatment!” Kenji *weakly* screams

  “GET AWAY FROM ME!” Kenji shoots an ice blast at Gyomei but he blocks it as he says

  “What the hell has gotten into you!?” Gyomei walks up to Kenji as Kenji tries to punch Gyomei but Gyomei catches the punch and chops Kenji in the neck knocking out Kenji as he gently picks Kenji up and he rushes back to the house as he kicks down the front door and screams

  “EVERYBODY UP, WE'RE LEAVING NOW!” Everyone quickly gets up as there still groggy and Dai *yawns* as he says

  “What?...Why?” Gyomei says

  “Something attacked Kenji! He’s been stabbed twice and we need to get to the other village, now!” Riku and Itsuki *shocked* as they instantly woken up by his words and they say

  “What!?” Kenshin is *concerned* as he says

  “We don't have time then we have too move!” Saigo says

  “Let’s go then!” Everyone gets up and runs out of the house and through the bamboo forest as Akita is watching them from the bamboo and sees all of them together as she thinks

  “You got lucky this time Kenji, but the plans still haven't changed. But now I'll need Naky to take that information back and spare his life until I can bring them something that will truly be worth sparing both of their lives. Be smart with your words Naky, I'll see you later!"

  At the same time everyone's running down the path as they see the village in a distance and all of them quickly rushes towards as Gyomei is the first person at the gate and he starts banging on the gate but suddenly Dai flies above him as he punches the gate with his fire gauntlet sending it crashing open as they all run into the village and through the streets until suddenly three warriors drop down in front of them and everyone stops as Gyomei says

  “I am–” Suddenly a giant lightning shockwave slash sends all of them flying back as they slam into the ground unmoving and Itsuki steps up next to Gyomei as he notices Itsuki's sword is surging with lightning and Itsuki looks at Gyomei as he says

  “Go!” They start running through the streets until they turn a corner as hundereds of warriors surround them and Riku looks at Gyomei and says

  “Gyomei go! We’ll hold them off” Gyomei says

  “We can just ex–” Riku looks Gyomei in his eyes as he says

  “If Kenji dies, I’ll kill you!” Gyomei is *shocked* as he notices the seriousness in Riku's eyes and Dai punches the air with his fire gauntlets launching a giant fireball clearing a path through the warriors and Gyomei, Kenshin,and Saigo rush forward and a few warriors turn towards them but Riku puts his hand up as he creates a tornado around them and Gyomei,Saigo and Kenshin all turn a corner as they notice a hospital at the end of the street and they all quickly rush down as Gyomei slams into the door and rushes up to the front desk and says

  "We need your help, a boy was stabbed!" The nurse is *shocked* as she quickly stands up and grabs Kenji as she rushes off and Gyomei *sighs* as he *hangs his head in shame* and says

  “How could I let this happen!? We haven't even left the region, and someone's already hurt!” Kenshin walks up as he puts his hand on Gyomei's back and says

  “It wasn't your fault, but he’s in good hands now! We still need to get back to everyone else before they kill somebody!” Gyomei looks up as he says

  “Damn it!” They run out of the hospital and back to the street as they look up and see Riku's tornado and Gyomei screams

  "ON THE ROOFS!" All of them jump onto the roofs and quickly rush towards the tornado but they all stop as they notice none of the warriors are outside of the tornado and they all drop down as Gyomei walks up to the tornado and tries to walk through the tornado but he can't as he's pushed back and Gyomei is *shocked* as he says

  “What power!” Gyomei punches the tornado but it does nothing too it and he says

  “Damn it,Kenshin, Saigo all together!” All of them start punching the tornado together but none of there punches do anything and Gyomei puts his hands up as his eyes turn a dark blue and he clenches his fist but the tornado slowly disappears from above and as the tornado fully disappears they see Riku with his wind armor and gauntlets looking at them as Itsuki is holding one warrior by their neck with his sword pressed against the side of it and Dai with his foot on another's warriors neck but before Gyomei can say anything to them there surrounded by more warriors and Riku, Dai, and Itsuki all go back too back to fight them off but Gyomei says

  “ENOUGH! My name is Gyomei, and I am Lord Kaito’s General! We are not invading this village, we needed help because one of our warriors was injured while we traveled!'' Suddenly a voice from above him says

  “Oh my, lord Kaito has sent you here!?” Gyomei looks up as he sees an old man sitting on the roof above him and he jumps down as he bows and says

  “My apologies, I had know we had gotten a new General but we we're never introduced" Gyomei says

  “It’s fine we did destroy your gate, but I am glad to see if this village was attacked it would be well guarded!” The Old Man stands up as he says

  “Where are my manors! I am Muto Tsuyoshi and welcome to the Shroshio Village, you all can stay as long as you want!” Gyomei says

  “We’ll only be here for a few hours, we have to get too the Fujiwara region in a few days'' Muto is *shocked* as he says

  “What!? Why would you all go to the Fujiwara region, their entire region has gone mad and have started killing and slaughtering anyone who goes there and even some of their own!” Gyomei says

  “We know, and they are building an army of their strongest soldiers and intend on invading every region! Because of this Lord Kaito has asked that me and my team to go there and get a full scoop of the invading armies and report back” Muto says

  “Oh my! You and your team are welcome too take full advantage of the village while you're here” Gyomei says

  “Thank you very much! Riku,Itsuki,Dai lets go'' Itsuki closes his hand absorbing his sword as he walks over too Gyomei and Riku's wind armor and gauntlets blow away with the wind as he walks over to Gyomei but Dai says

  “I’m not done yet, let's go all of you fight me!” Gyomei says

  “Let's go, Dai!” But Dai doesn’t even look at him and Gyomei says

  “We have to check on Kenji'' Dai slowly looks at Gyomei and he looks back at the warriors as his fire gauntlets burn away and he turns around as he walks over to Gyomei and they all walk past warriors but Dai bumps two of them as they all walk towards the hospital and Gyomei says

  “You all can’t go around destroying and fighting people in every village we go to, we’ll look like invaders and we could be killed before we make it too the Fujiwara region!” Dai says

  “I don't know who you're talking about being killed, were perfectly fine but all of you might die!” Kenshin says

  “If you think you’ll be able to run around destroying everything in your path, your gonna fall quick in this world” Dai says

  “You can’t stop me so I'm not worried about anyone who gets in my way!” Gyomei says

  “Dai, do you truly believe you won’t face any difficult challenge on this journey?” Dai says

  “Of course not, there’s nobody stronger than my Sensei and I was able to almost beat him! Nobody can stop me, he's my only true challenge!” Saigo says

  “Arrogant child, your “Sensei” was holding back the whole time. You are far from his strength, which means you have a lot to fear in this world!” Dai says

  “None of you can beat me, so as I told you I’m not worried about anything!” Kenshin and Saigo turn around as Riku,Itsuki,and Dai stop and Kenshin and Saigo looks at Dai as Dai’s *smiling* at them and they take a step towards him but Gyomei is still walking as he says

  “What's more important to you Dai? Winning a battle or helping a friend in need, because yes you can fight them both but Kenji is still waiting for us!” Dai steps up to them but he walks past them both without a word as Riku and Itsuki follow behind him and they turn a corner as they see the hospital at the end of the street and Riku,Itsuki,and Dai all run for it barging through the door as Dai sees The Nurse sitting at the front desk and he rushes over to her as he says

  “Where’s Kenji!?” The Nurse is *shocked* as she says

  “Oh my, I don’t know who your-” But Dai grabs her shirt as he pulls her close and screams

  “WHERE IS KENJI!?” Gyomei comes in as he notices Dai and he walks over and pulls Dai off of her as he says

  “I'm sorry ma’am, where was the boy that I brought in who was stabbed twice?” The Nurse says

  “Oh him, yes come with me” The Nurse takes them down a hallway as she opens the last door and all of them step into the room as they see Kenji in a bed completely still and The Nurse looks at Gyomei as she says

  “I’m sorry, he’s been unresponsive since you brought him in. His breathing hasn’t changed and his vitals have stabilized, but he will not wake up for some time” Itsuki gets *angry* as he turns to Gyomei and says

  “How did this happen!? Who was it Gyomei? Who did this to my brother!?” Gyomei says

  “I...Don’t know, when I came out of the house I could hear him screaming in pain and I rushes into the forest. But when I first saw him he tried to attack me!" Dai says

  “I knew it! It was the invaders I was talking about the three people” Gyomei says

  “It couldn’t ha–” Itsuki steps in front of Dai as he says

  “What did they look like!? I want every detail of them!” Riku walks over and sits in a chair next to Kenji's bed as he leans his head back against the wall and closes his eyes and Saigo looks over at him and says

  “Your not worried about your friend?” Riku says

  “I’m extremely worried about my brother, but he’s in the best hands we have. Me panicking and worrying wouldn’t do him any good for him, plus it's still the middle of the night and we all need rest" Saigo *chuckles* as he says

  “I have to admit you are wise for your age!” Kenshin and Saigo both sit down in chairs as well and Gyomei says

  “You both sit down and get some sleep, I’ll watch over Kenji” Itsuki looks at Gyomei as he says

  “I let you do that once, look at what happened to him!” Itsuki walks over and pulls a chair right next to Kenji’s bed as he sits down and thinks

  "It should have been me, I should have protected you! I've failed you and Sensei!" Dai sits down in a chair and leans his head back as well and Gyomei sits down and looks at Itsuki as he looks over Kenji but he leans his head back as well and goes to sleep
