The man smiles and tells you the correct solution to the last riddle. “The label on the bottle had come off and blocked the drain,” he says and nods encouragingly at you. Then he continues with a second riddle: “Tom meets an antiquarian bookseller. He proudly tells you that he has received a book from 1925 entitled “My experiences in the First World War”. Tom thinks about it and comes to the conclusion that the antiquarian bookseller is lying. Why?”
