  How did I end up living this nightmare?

  My name is Selena, princess of the aquatic people, daughter of King Neptune. I am known for my beautiful voice when I sing.

  I often sing outside the water and frequently beyond the limits my father imposes on me. Two days ago, I was doing just that until I was captured by pirates.

  Apparently, they heard my voice and wanted to sell me to a nobleman to be his animal companion. I’ve never experienced something so humiliating in my life, but I could do nothing, because once outside this aquarium, I would find myself on the surface, where I have little ability to move.

  So, I was trapped, waiting for hope to come.

  Selena: "Are we sure your primary goal isn't to take their wealth?"

  Dia: "What? No, that’s just a small bonus. King Neptune asked me to save you, and in exchange, he would change the alliance pact into a vassal one. Of course, I rejected him, but he was determined to pay me and even told me that all the people of the sea would be under my faction."

  It sounds like something a father would do. I’m his only daughter, and he cares about me so much that he could do it without any hesitation.
