It just quite simply isn’t easy to organize something!
After the letters were sent, and the ‘attached’ came back to Golden Haven…Things went from quiet to loud very quickly!
In Matthew’s crew there had also been Band One, as well as Steven and Christian, and so eleven, that was in their group, all got teleported to Golden Haven, simply because that was where Sahara was…Well, of course now it was Matilda…
Christian had ‘some words’ with Matilda, but it was one of those times were ‘few words’ meant a thousand things…
He had asked if she was alright and if they were now staying in Golden Haven. After he found out why they were here, he left…Gone…Just like that…
Steven was different. He couldn’t believe that she was Sahara! He wasn’t sure if he should express his complete excitement or not!
Of course, he was still quite the introvert but happiness is pretty nice to let out and so he expressed himself with many smiles…Which was really quite impressive!
Nether was skeptical, watching Matilda more so than making conversation with her.
Matilda liked the idea of teasing her, so she did not actually take the chance to meet with her alone yet…It was funny in her eyes…She had no idea why, but it was sort of entertaining and that was it…
Lavender believed her straight away and well Kin…
Kin almost felt left out.
He silently thought of being connected by links to his mother, like his father, but never voiced out his thoughts. He felt like he had every right to spend more time with her then anyone!
But as much as he did spend time with her, who seemed like much the unique person that everyone always said about her, he didn’t feel full…
Never had he thought that at his age he would still want to be close to his mother. He had honestly thought himself as someone that would not worry too much…
His own prediction was way out! He couldn’t believe how easy it was to love her…His mother…He still wasn’t used to calling anyone that…Calling someone ‘mother’…
It wasn’t until she put him to sleep one night, because ‘she had not done it in a long time’, did he realize the spiritual essence feeling. She murmured quietly to him that she was patting him with spiritual essence.
Kin smiled into his pillow and couldn’t help but feel blessed. Even his father had become more affectionate to him now, which was strange, but he wasn’t going to state anything about it!
…Their family was finally complete!
The handcuffs had a story of their own…
For now, it was ok, Matilda wasn’t forced to worry and run about in a hurry.
But it didn’t mean that sometimes it wasn’t tedious…
It was becoming normal for them to always be together, but it didn’t mean that she was used to taking him to the loo yet!
If only Matthew would relent and trust that she won’t just bugger off and never come back!
He was…Really such a little pervert!
But…It made him happy…And ultimately, it all came back to that. That being connected like this, through thick and thin, it made him happy…So, in turn, that made her happy too!
On the other hand, Katherine had been able to meet Band One once again…Oh boy did that scare the hell out of Katherine!
Suddenly teleporting everyone back to their little room, Katherine was stunned into silence.
Having been slightly worried about Matilda, she had not left...
There he was…Right there…
Matilda didn’t know if she should tell them or not…
Being introduced as ‘Katherine’, Matilda gave those ‘controls’ to Katherine, on whether her secret will come out or not.
On the other hand, Band One wasn’t Band One anymore…They had given him the name of An and he was more like family now, instead of some shadow that is pretty much an employee and always on their job.
He had a scruffy, short beard and looked utterly strange in clothes that showed his muscles! He preferred it that way, that was all…
Katherine had troubles getting over ‘An’s’ new look and stared…Most likely too often!
An had gained more of a carefree nature as well, having had not to be so vigint anymore. It had been around twenty years after all…
He looked more like a fisherman, or a boxer…Not at all like what he used to look like!
Ah, all fun and games!
“You have a name like mine! They sound so simir!” Madeline said.
She was a nice mixture of shy and…Bouncy!
“I would like to think that you have a name like mine, instead!” Matilda stated, looking at her evenly.
Madeline frowned, “Am I not older than you now?”
“Oh father!” Matilda yelled, looking for Christian.
“No!” He yelled back from somewhere.
“What are you teaching your daughter!?” Matilda yelled back.
“…If you are insulted than I taught her well!” Christian stated and then ughed.
Teleporting to be right in front of her father-in-w, Matthew having come as well, Matilda gred at him, “I will win, you know that right. You are an old man now!”
Christian looked at her and immediately became serious, “Are you picking a fight with me?”
Matilda smiled at him. He hasn’t changed, he was like some little toddler with an ego!
Christian lost his gre but continued to look at her…
It was still hard to get used to after all. She was back. She was here, with them, right now!
The past of looking for her for so many years can’t be erased just like that, no, they had been without her a long time…So long that they had forgotten a lot of things…
Matilda leaned forward and kissed him on the forehead. “I thought ‘respect your elders’ was a thing you liked to teach.”
“Madeline does look older than you.” Christian easily stated.
“Looks can be deceiving…” Matilda answered back.
“True, otherwise we’d know you’d be trouble!” Christian said, then ughed again.
“Father…” Matthew chimed in. In no way did he want to anger his bride…His blushing and beautiful bride…
They had a few drinks and so they were all quite happy and talkative, but it was still no excuse in Matthew’s eyes to make his beloved angry in any sort of way!
“When are you going to separate?” Christian asked, changing the subject to his almost intolerable first son.
It was embarrassing to see his son always chained to the poor girl!
Matilda smiled and turned to Matthew.
Matthew shook his head, “Never.”
With her other hand she opened it up to Christian and looked at him, “As you see…”
“…What? You’re always going to have that thing on you?” He asked, almost spitting out his drink…
Matilda looked at the handcuffs and even touched the cold metal with her other hand. “I don’t feel like they are shackles. I don’t feel like they are a chain that stops me from doing what I want. I don’t feel like a sve…If we need both of our hands then they will disappear but while he feels the way he does, I am willing to do this for him.”
Matthew banged his head into her neck, hiding himself shamefully.
He was ashamed because he was not going to let her loose. He wasn’t going to take in other questions and advice. As far as he was aware, Matilda had done this and so he has accepted it!
“Then what of your manners, Matilda!” Madeline had suddenly stated, coming over to her from where they had been before.
Matilda turned to her and said, “Oh?”
“You left me rudely!” Madeline stated.
Letting out a small smile to Madeline’s slurred words and slightly unbanced posture, she said, “I am sorry, how can I make it up to you?”
Madeline was obviously taken by surprise. Everyone could see that she went into thought upon how Matilda could make it up to her that a few ughed.
It was then that Madeline looked at An, with hooded eyes that Matilda first heard of something that she hadn’t seen so far.
Oh…Oh dear…
It seemed that a little chickling was interested in Katherine’s man. Well, actually, he wasn’t Katherine’s man…
Looking at Katherine, Matilda saw Katherine blink a few times while looking away.
They had not thought of this…Had not thought that perhaps he already had a romantic retionship with another…Or one with him, at the very least.
“Get back to me on that.” Matilda stated and walked over to Katherine.
Feeling her feelings, and knowing of Matthew’s presence, who still doesn’t know Katherine as Band Two. Matilda put her hand on her shoulder.
Katherine looked up at her and smiled, “Oh, ah…”
Her smiled faded and she frowned, looking at the ground, “I think I’m going to turn in.”
“Katherine.” Matilda stopped her, pulling on her arm.
She turned back to and smiled warmly at Matilda, “I’m fine. Please don’t worry about me.”
Why was it that just one small act that one person does sorta ruins someone else’s night?
Katherine had no idea what had even gone on between An and Madeline. They might not have done anything at all! But a look can mean a lot, a look like that at least.
Whether they were in a retionship or not, anyone could tell that Madeline had the hots for Band One, I mean An…
“You are close with Katherine.” Matthew stated.
Matthew was wondering what kind of life that Sahara had had without him to even have such a close retionship with someone he didn’t even know.
…She had been gone twenty years…
All that time he had been without her, the love of his life…
Uniting their chained hands, Matilda looked at Matthew and wished she could just let the cat out of the bag but…
Dammit! I hate secrets!
“She’ll be ok.”
Actually, Matilda suddenly had…
Closing her eyes for a moment she then found Katherine’s spiritual essence not too far away.
She was still here, just hiding…Back to her old bag of tricks in the shadows!
Oh, another conversation worthy of being written about included Steven and Matilda!
They two had a chat at the party…
Sort of…
Steven was still Steven. He wasn’t as id back as An, nor was he as sensitive and romantic as Matthew. He wasn’t secretive like Katherine, nor was he bouncy like Madeline.
It was like he picked up anything other people hadn’t got and that was his personality.
“Steven.” Matilda said, sitting down next to him, and he was next to Nether. Matthew found his seat and then moved Matilda onto his p, making her lose a bit of her composure for a moment.
“Sahara.” Steven said back, after Matilda fixed herself up.
“Matilda.”
“Matilda?” He asked back.
“Mmm, I changed.” Was all Matilda said.
“Matilda.” Steven said in return…
Nodding to how easy it was to talk to him, Sahara saw him look around and she teleported a pte over to herself that had food.
Passing it to him, they both stared at each other and started to smile…
Just like the good old days!
