  The book is hard to understand. Are clouds like rivers? I never paid that much attention to clouds. Grampa could tell if it would rain hours before it did just by looking at the sky. I'm supposed to feel such things to 'become aware of my qi'. I didn't understand the nice guards' explanation about qi either.

  I wonder if a simple peasant girl like me can learn something difficult like cultivation.
