Moments before at the South West Part of the Greater Forest of Aiz
"What to do. All these rules" Eriko thinks to herself as she massages her tempol. She glances at Eriko rummaging through the care package sent.
Eriko stops for a moment and turns to Rose "How long do you intend to not cooperate with me?" Eriko calls out Rose who is a distance away from her.
"Hmph" Rose turned in the opposite direction and marched towards the forest.
Eriko drops the items she looked through and chases after her "Hey hold on, I am talking to you."
Rose goes about ignoring Eriko's call through the forest sliding and jumping over small hills and rocks "Hopefully the girls remember to meet in the center"
VVRM
A bright light shoots across from behind Rose blowing her hair around.
"Ugh," Rose makes a noise of irritation.
"I told you to wait," Eriko says as she stands in front of Rose face to face with a serious expression.
"What's with that look Twelve Star," Rose says as she makes fun of Eriko's serious demeanor. "Well, it doesn't help that you overreacted when we got picked" she comments.
"Me overreact how dare you" Eriko bounces back with her own response as she clinches her fists. "You have been so uncooperative in this stage. You do know both of us need to work together to get past this stage correct?"
Rose's eyes squint towards Eriko "Yes I do-"
Boom! Boom!
The birds and animals run in the opposite direction of the blasts.
"An explosion?" Eriko thinks to herself. "Is it Val? Is he in trouble? Maybe it could be Ezekiel? Maybe I should head off in that direction." Eriko thinks to herself.
"Judging from the reaction of the animals whatever that was it's coming from the northern part of this forest," Rose says.
Eriko then positions herself to beam in that direction but stops and looks at the terrain. "When falling here I didn't have the chance to look at the area where we are testing at"
"Well because we couldn't take our eyes off one another and bickering until we landed" Rose replied.
"But I saved the both of us with my beam"
Rose rolls her eyes.
"Anyways this landscape must be the Greater Forest of Aiz. I just read up on this while I was studying last night. It says that in North East, North West, South West points there are- " Eriko says.
STEP STEP STEP
"Hey," Eriko calls out while Rose again makes their way toward the middle of the map.
"What do you want? I got my own agenda to go with"
"Well I suggest we create an agenda with the two of us"
"Alright, how bout you follow me from behind while I lead the way?" Rose demanded.
As the two continue to walk towards the center of the forest.
"No, I will not allow this. This ignorance we must work together as a duo to get past this"
The two then look up at the orb in the sky it reads [27 minutes 48 teams]
"A team already eliminated" Eriko spoke aloud.
"That must've been from the explosion from earlier," Rose says.
[27 minutes 47 teams]
"Look another team got eliminated," Rose says out loud. "Hopefully you girls are doing all right out there," she thinks to herself.
"Yes, how about we go to hunt for some rings for ourselves?" Eriko asks.
"We could but as you can see there are no enemies in the area we are in. If anything everyone probably landed in the northern area"
.......
Suddenly the forest grew quiet.
The noises of the forest were no more.
The animals.
The trees have no sound.
"Wait listen" Eriko calls out.
"What there's nothing" Rose states.
"Exactly" Eriko summons her rapier.
Rose follows and summons her chain whip.
As the two stand back to back against one another.
BREEZE
A cool wind fills the air as a thick fog begins to form.
"Where is this fog coming from?" Rose says aloud.

Rose pulls out the compass "It looks to be South. Southwest of the map."
"Oh my, what a tough situation we'll be in," Eriko says as she takes a deep breath.
"Why what is it tell me!" Rose demands as she flings her whip across the fog.
"Out of the 4 Cardinal Points of this map, there are 4 areas that provide tough challenges North East, North West, South West, and South East"
The fog grows thicker as it becomes harder to see. Their vision is blocked to the point the two can't see what's in front of them.
"Since we are in the South West part were caught up in The Fog of Eternal M-"
Eriko gets cut off as she is no longer in the back of Rose.
"Hey, Twelve Star where did you go? The fog of what?"

In the headmaster's room at Aurora Saint Academy
"Those two girls are in the South West Portion of the map," Percival remarks.
"What's over there?" Alekzander asks.
"The most challenging mental challenge there is. Confronting one past" Percival says.
"They will make it out right? Before the barrier closes" Faith asks.
"I believe so," Luna remarks with a concerned look on his face.
"They have 20 almost minutes," Axel says as Ceaser nods.

Eriko awakes to find herself in front of a building on a rainy night.
The street lights are the key light source.
Eriko sticks her arm out "The rain is not hitting me." She watches as the rain drops right through her.

The rain continues to drop.
"Am I outside of the testing area? Where is this." she looks left and right. "This looks familiar. Kubridge?"
A hooded figure then rushes to the building and drops off what seems to be a basket in front of the doorstep.
KNOCK KNOCK
The figure then stays in front of the door for a moment kneeling down and talking to the basket.
The lights of the building flicker on and the mysterious person leaves.

Eriko slowly walks towards the basket.
"A baby. Wait that hair color and eyes. Purple eyes and rose gold hair. Rose?"

Moments before at the Northern Part of the Greater Forest of Aiz
"That was a nice save there Albeck. Using your Iron arms to bring us down gradually was a great idea!" Ezekiel calls out. While at the same time examining their surroundings and whereabouts. "When we were landing I noticed other students landed nearby."
"They see us as threats," Albeck says.
"Threats?" Ezekiel says with excitement.
"We are if not the strongest duo right now"
"We are?!"
"The Greater Forest of Aiz" Albeck responds.
"What's that?"
"The name of the place we are currently in. When we were falling I could tell by the terrain."
A barrier then encapsulates the area.
"We should go find the students that landed near us-"
A familiar voice then gets projected out from above"Sorry for the rude introduction to this test but Mages-"
The two then stop what they were about to say and look up at the floating orb that appears in the sky.

Suddenly a duo appears to attack the two from behind them.

Ezekiel quickly disposes of the two mages that attacked them. Slaming them both into the ground making a a loud boom noise like explosions.
"-remember Expect the unexpected you could be ambushed and be put into a dire situation out there. So this part of the exam must prepare you"
"You two really yelled out before an attack lame," Ezekiel says as he stares at the laid-out duo. He then slowly walks to their whipped-out bodies. "Oof, I think I overdid it" He then takes a look at their rings "So do we just take them? Or?
"Ah I see a duo has already been eliminated," Issac says in his announcement.
"Well for those still in care packages should appear where you are right about now"
VOOM
A package full of healing items, foods, and equipment appears.
"You do now know that others will come in this direction correct?" Albeck says as he looks around their surroundings and summons his iron pillar.
Ezekiel then takes the rings from the fallen mages "How bout we try this?" Ezekiel takes a rope from the supply package.
He cuts off a piece of rope and loops the rings they have in them. "Tada. a necklace"
"Good idea but what if the necklace were to break?"
"Uh"
"And what about the future rings we'll collect and add to it?"
"Um"
"Do whatever you want just dont lose them. Now let's get a move on" Albeck leads with his Iron Pillar levitating next to him.
"I can't help it how does that thing work?"
"What do you mean?"
"Like how does it function?"
"Basically"

Two more mages pop up

Albeck Iron Pillar splits into two parts taking out the two mages whilst at the same time taking out multiple trees by them yet again blowing their location.
"Like that"
"Look we got 6 now," Ezekiel says proudly.
The two then look into the sky at the sphere.

"Good only 5 minutes into this thing looks like we're leading so far"

"Well looks like we got 8"
"Woah that pillar sure is something"
"Indeed it is"

I hear a river nearby.
The two continue walking following the sounds of the river.
The two follow the sounds of the river. "Hmm" "What is it?" "The more I look at you the more I can see the reason why Leo was bestowed upon you. Albeck looks at Ezekiel as the two continue to follow the sound of the river.
"What about you? "What is your history?"
"From when I was a young boy I was very scrawny and skinny wasn't really that built. My mother was a single parent who raised me since I was a child. Until one day she grew ill. Very sick. I did whatever I could to help her. Then-"
"Wait!"
Ezekiel stops Albeck in his tracks as he is about to fall off a ledge.
Distracted by their conversation take a few steps back.
"Thank you. My iron hands would've gotten me either way. So this led to a waterfall. With a small little lake," Albeck says.
CRACK SNAP CRACK SNAP
The two then look beyond the lake seeing trees fall down from a long way from them.
"I wonder what could that be?"
"Southeast"
The pair then look up at the Sphere again
[20 Minutes 40 duos]
In the first 10 minutes, 10 duos were gone.
"We can relax and take a break here," Ezekiel says
"Yeah If anything the other teams will come around this lake to refill their water supplies," Albeck says as they watch the area around them.
RUSTLE RUSTLE
The two divert their attention to a nearby bush.
A hawk flies past them as it shoots for the sky.

"Hey Carmen your Student is doing good" Taz comments.
"At least one of them is"
"It's hard to see which class will come out on top but it seems my girls are winning"
"Yes but at what cost there being chased by a giant spider"

Everyone huddled in the room wondering what had happened to their view of the exam.

"Colt? It appears some of your animals were taken out"
"What?" Colt responds as everyone looks too at the globe.
"It appears to be mostly the air animals only a few are still active"
"Something or someone is taking them out"

"They sounded pretty close" I yell out too here as we run sie by side.
"Yeah there in the northern part"
"Wow you could tell from all that"
"Yeah pretty much. I can feel the vibration of the earth so I can practically see whats in front of us."
