We scout the area a giant forest with tall trees, nature, quiet, open. It was a later afternoon it appeared twilight was coming.

"Am not too sure but that ability he has is something The fact that we didn't know where we were until he dropped us" I respond.

Azalea falls out of the classroom holding her hands to where her skirt is. "Oh no what am i going to do"
"Sunneta!" Azalea says.

The mysterious student grabs hold of Sunneta.
"Am your partner" the hooded mage says as they dash away.
"Sunneta!" Azalea calls out as she continues to fall.

"I got you," Jericho says as he catches her out of mid-air as they slowly make a safe landing in the field of mushrooms.

The two bounce off.
Jericho lands first on the hard ground.

Azalea lands on Jericho.
Dazed and confused "Why am I always a cushioning pad for everyone?" Jericho remarks as he carefully puts the pink-haired girl leaning on a giant mushroom.
With the cape of his uniform ruffled up he stands to dust himself off and fix it. He notices his gloves are slightly coming off so he stands and observes the area while fixing it. He rubs his cheeks as he still feels the slaps that Suneeta gave him.
"This forest. The gigantic trees. The oversized mushrooms. This vast space could only be one forest. The Greater Forest of Aiz" Jericho thought to myself. This was the forest I saw
when I was arriving here.
"Huh, what" Azalea comes to consciousness.
"Ah you are awake," Jericho says.
Azalea then realizes that her coat was scuffed up a little a little bit of her bra.
"Ah!" Azalea screams.
"Wait it's all just a mere misunderstanding. I saved your life" Jericho relays.
"You were looking at Sunneta ones too" Azalea fires back.
"No. It was indeed gravity"
"Where else could I have looked there were girls everywhere."

Jericho didn't realize but he had a bruise and cut on the top right of his face near the hairline.
He reaches for his head with his right hand "Blood guess I didn't realize it." Ah, it must have happened when we were falling through the trees the branches and such must've hit me.

"Sorry for the rude introduction to this test but Mages remember Expect the unexpected you could be ambushed and be put into a dire situation out there. So this part of the exam must prepare you"

"Ah I see a duo has already been eliminated"
"Well for those still in care packages should appear where you are right about now"

A package full of healing items, foods, and equipment appears.
"Where you are eliminated you will teleported back to the school in the infirmary. The rules of this exam are.
-You must stick with your assigned partner.
-The assigned partner may be ONLY switched if one partner is unable to compete due to another team attacking you. Meaning you can't attack your partner or else that means elimination as well.
-The two rings must placed somewhere visible much like your rankings of your classes.
-The two rings can be held by one person or split between the two partners.
-When collecting others' rings make sure to have it displayed once again.
-As I mentioned before the barrier created by the headmaster will gradually grow smaller every thirty minutes.
-Another thing to note all the staff and faculty are watching this live through the means of the inhabitants of this forest. So any cheating or breaking of the rules will be caught.
-This orb right here will let you know how much time is left before the barrier begins to close and the number below is the number of duos remain.

Back at the Aurora Saint Academy, everyone else watches via broadcasts through Alfreds Dawkins' matter magic.

"We should still watch ourselves" Faith remarks.
"We dont know who to trust," Luna says.
"Hey, how about the three of us make a little competition to see which class wins the Magus Exam?"
"Sounds interesting go on," Taz says.
"What does the winner take?" Celeste.
The two losers must pay for a dinner and the shopping spree of the winner Quill Amount is up to the winner's choice.
"Hey this sounds like it pertains to you Ariana are you certain of your student's victory?"

"Haha," Celeste lets out a chuckle. "How about the winner gets to pick what the other two do?"

The globe of the center of the room is covered by the broadcast of the Magus Exam with the student council, 1 Federation Captain, and their lieutenant, the three homeroom teachers of the first years, and a couple of staff members of Aurora Saint Academy
"1 kilometer should be enough for the students to roam around" Alfred speaks as he watches the second exam stage go on.
By his side, three accompany him.
"Headmaster are you able to see the broadcasts alright?" a young male's voice speaks.
"Yes, the visuals are very clear. How many animals did you have to rally up to do this Colt?"
Headmaster Alfred turns to his right and speaks to a young man with soft blonde faux cut hair, with tapered sides that have a line on the left side of his head, blue eyes, wearing the Aurora Saint Academy uniform, wearing a small claw mark necklace, with his 3rd year pin near the collar of his uniform. Colt Lyon is one of the Trifecta Three Third Years at Aurora Saint Academy.
"Well, I have around 100 animals in the forest each of which covers the sky, land, and sea. They cover all areas of the exam so we'll see everything that is happening"
"Well done thank you. Have you the other two thought of what you're going to do after you graduate." "Hmm not too sure about the other two but I was thinking of becoming a facility member here at the academy and teaching magical beasts and animals"
"Yes, that would be a perfect idea" Colt then takes a seat along with the student council members.
Alfred turns to his side. "Kazarian thank you again for helping me set up this barrier once again"
Kazarian sits on one of Alfred's chairs behind him "Of course, especially with that infiltration event we must keep this safe. I am surprised you didn't call it off this year Alfred" Professor Kayneth speaks as he fixes his monocle and adjusts his body moving around his staff.
"You worry too much Kazarian these students should be fine. The students this year have more potential than any of the years before" Randall Deximar speaks in his messy and paint-filled attire.
"My goodness Randall at least fix yourself up" looks at his fellow professor in disgust.
"Haha it's alright Kazarian"
Randall shrugs his shoulders "Can't help it I love my art. Oops almost dropped my glasses again" as he looks upon the broadcast of the exam.

"You heard that Lily has quite a ton of rules," Bella says.
"Yeah, at least they gave us this care package" Lily responds opening up and unpackaging the items. "Let's see here a rope, snacks, water, compass, all the basic necessities that we need Bella"
"All right I'll carry them" Bella carries the care package on her shoulders as they continue to walk towards the center.
"Do you think Rose and the others are following the plan?" Lily asks.
"I believe so Rose told us before to meet towards the center of the map," Bella responds as they walk quietly through the forest.
"Speaking of a plan. What happened while we were taking the tests? Your magic seemed to have worked."
"Am not too sure it's as if my magic was copied and shot back at us but way stronger. But it felt like it got negated as well."
"Well, we know Issac can't do that since he's just an illusion magic specialist. We dont know of anyone else with that kind of ability"
"I didn't even know someone of that ability and skill existed"

"Yeah, it's a good thing but that means we're going to have a target on our backs"

They make their way towards the center
Lily slowly walked with her hands behind her head"Did it dawn you on how these matchups for the duos were made Bella?"
"Now that you think of it no. Although the fact that Rose got paired up with Eriko does seem a little too suspicious to be a coincidence"
"Right Right Ezekiel and Albeck. Like didn't those two fight before?"
"Eh, I wonder worry about them. After 10 minutes and 6 rings, we practically did nothing and walk"
"Yeah, you're right. The barrier should be closing in 20 minutes," Lily says.
The two look up at the orb placed in the middle of the terrain with a countdown clock and the number of participants that remain.
"Wow, 40 remain? Hmm, we took out two groups so that's 48 duos I wonder who took out the other 8?
"Whatever those giant explosions were."
"Maybe they were from Rose and Eriko?" Lily remarks.
"Yeah, who knows maybe their duo is in the lead," Bella says. "Wanna chill relax here and wait till 10 minutes before the barrier moves"
"Yeah plus it looks like that were close to the center of the forest so we're good"

"Hey um, Bella have you noticed that there is barely any light here?"

The two slowly look above them.

"Ah this was very unexpected when we took it," Luna says.
"Good thing I didn't travel in that part" Axel remarks.
"Good luck girls," Ariana says.

A giant spider appears from above them. With its legs being as thick as the tree trunks by them, the black color of the spider making it hard too see, the location in which the spider lives helps it blend in more, and the overall speed of this spider as it climbs down the trees.
The two girls scream as they make a B-line out of that area.
STEP STEP STEP STEP
"Kill it kill it kill it kill it"
"I don't think my bell works on this thing. Where was its weebs???"
"We're so doomed!"
The giant spider continues to chase the two to the outer edges of the map moving farther way from the center. With 20 minutes remaining. The two now must defeat the spider and make it back before the barrier closes.
