Chapter 01

  The first year of my new life past by in a rush. But I did learn a few things.

  By now I mostly understand the language my parents speak, which allowed me to learn their names and more about the overall situation. The Language and Identify skills are the first skills I learned and leveled. I mean there is not much else you can do as a baby, but listen to your parents and to look around.

  I am grateful that pooping yourself is not a learnable skill and I hopefully await the day I can do my business in a civilized manner, by myself again.

  My mom’s name Marianne I am her only child and she is a powerful ex-Adventurer, since I heard my parents talking about it, I know her race is also [blessed Human]

  She married my Father as his third wife but is not of noble linage herself.

  There are many different races like Beastkin, Elfs or Dwarfs, but those often also have their own categories.

  In case of humans there are barbarians, high humans, blessed humans, abyssal humans and a few other minor rare variants, but mostly those.

  Barbarians have greatly boosted physical stats but have great difficulty increasing their mental stats after a certain point and it is the other way around for high humans.

  Blessed humans have moderately boostet stats overall and an affinity with light, life and especially holy magic, but can not use dark magic in any way themselves. While abyssal humans have greatly boostet strength, a moderate boost for the rest and dark magic boost, but are weak against life, light and holy magic.

  That does not mean the normal version, in this case [human], variant has to be weaker since they also don’t have their limitations.

  The variants of humans are also quite rare and are one among thousands.

  My Father’s name is Viscount Oliver Lionheart. As far as I know he is the son of a Duke and a Concubine, far to low to have a chance to inherit anything, but enough to help him to the title he is holding now. I also believe that his race is the same as the Beastkin version from my status screen.

  As for my Father’s first and second Wife, I don’t even know their names jet, just that they are quite ”energic“ about their ranking in the House.

  Besides my Family I also played around with my Status and learned a few things.

  While thinking about a certain part of my Status I can get a rudimentary description or open a new window. The descriptions for my standard Stats are:

  Strength - shows your inner and outer strength, where as your inner strength increases your HP, your outer strength influences how much weight you can lift or how hard you can punch.

  Agility - responsible for how fast you can move and also how flexible your body is.

  Endurance - is connected to your SP, besides that, increase your resistance and one tenth ob your Endurance points is always substrated from any incoming damage.

  Dexterity - increases your dexterity in fighting, crafting and every other activity, that requires it.

  Intelligence - increases your ability to consume knowledge, resist stress and influences your Spell Power.

  Wisdom - increases your ability to retain and hold knowledge. Is also in correlation to your mana capacity.

  When I concentrate on my level I can see the needed experience to level up. The rest not really helpful, except: Traits, Skills and Titles which each open a separate Window.

  When looking at those perks, I can wait to grow up enough to go out, to get these sweet XP and level ups.

  While my Traits and Titles are amazing, I am not really sure how they are assigned.

  ‘They do give short explanations, but why did I get the [Crafting Prodigy) Trait and when or how did I get touched by the Divine ?’

  ‘The [Dual Hearts] Trait is great too. Looks like I have taken that with me from my past live and having two classes is probably rare. Let’s see if the System can give me more information on classes overall and my specific ones’

  ‘Open Status’

  ’Ok, now concentrating on [Class]’

  ‘Well that’s good to know. Let’s see the what info I can get about my classes’

  ’My Classes sound amazing. Probably also thanks to my [Touched by the Divine] Trait that can increase my Luck. [Epic] and [Unique] should be really great.’

  My Parents probably know more about those Ratings and everything else most likely. Right now it would be kind of weird for a one year old to ask those questions, so I will not ask them for now.

  ‘Right, now I should try and move around a little and sleep some more afterwards...’

  ‘Or I can also instead move around tomorrow … I could be more motivated by then …’

  ‘Yeah… I will do some moving around tomorrow, for now good night…’
