"Where on earth did you hear that." Their father said.
"Um, there was a girl in the garden. And uh, she said that she was told that uh, her father owned the estate, so she said that must mean that our fathers were married because that's the only way to share the same piece of land." Arion stumbled over his words.
"Oh, that's your sister."
"WHAT." Cassion suddenly stood up from his chair. "You never told us that we had a sister!"
"Why should I have?" Their father brushed the matter aside like it was nothing important at all.
"I-I was so mean to her.." Arion's voice cracked, "I didn't know we were siblings!"
"She isn't important. She took her mother's life away, if anything she should be treated worse." Their father said, with a scowl on his face.
"But we're
"The Servants' Chambers." Their father answered dismissively.
"What? but she's a Theomor! She should be at least in the South Annex! Does Mother know about this?" Cassion stuttered.
"Why should she, and why do you not know this, the record of her birth and her accommodations are listed in Generation 6, Number 194, section 36, line 693. You are the to house Theomor. You should have memorized those records by now! What am I to do with you?" Their father shouted at him.
"M-mother says that I am too young to be reading the records, Father. She said to only monitor the financial reports."
"That witch..." Their father mumbled to himself. "I memorized those when I was your brother's age, you should be ashamed." He told Cassion. "If your sister's well being is that important to you, then deal with it on your own, you should know how to submit the paperwork by now."
"Yes, father..." The brothers said in sync.
"Father!" Arion spoke up, "if I have a sister, does that mean I can play with her?"

"No, Arion. She is a blemish on our family, she killed her mother and was born on a day that evil was released," He stated.
"You believe in that evil day stuff?" Cassion interjected.
"It doesn't matter if i believe it or not, it only matters that it happened," their father said.
"But-"
"No. This is final. Cassion, you are to memorize the records by Friday. Arion, do not interact with that bastard and focus on your studies," he declared.
He left the room, the only sound was the echoing of his heels against the hard floor.
"I don't care. I need to apologize at least..." Arion mumbled under his breath.
"Don't. We can't go against Father. The best we can do is try to get her moved into more comfortable housing. Here, help me find the right records. He said Number 194, right?" Cassion asked.
"Yeah, I think so." Arion responded
"Alright. Let me grab the ladder."
Cassion moved from the desk he was standing at and towards the bookshelves. He pulled the ladder towards the shelf that was needed, the wood scraped on the hardwood flooring. He pulled the ladder to the shelf with his generation's records.
"190.. 192.. 194! Here it is!" He said with excitement.
"What documentation do you need?" Arion asked his brother.
"The housing documents should be enough. They should be in the drawer to the left of you there."
Arion opened the drawer that his brother pointed to and grabbed one of each document inside.
After Cassion had grabbed the information from the records that he needed and he and his brother filled out the documents regarding moving their sister to the South Annex of the house.
"Hey, that wasn't too bad!" Arion said.
"Well, now we just have to wait for Father to approve it." Cassion responded. "I'll go submit it after I start on the memorization. We both know what he will do if I don't finish by Friday."
"Yeah, good luck."
"Thanks."
Arion left his brother in the library to study and went to his own room to sit and think about today's happenings. First off, what was the Evil Day his father had mentioned? He hadn't heard of that before. According to the documents he saw Cassion look at, his sister was born on April 31st.
What on earth could have happened that day?

"It feels so lonely here." Allison whispered to the void.
Allison placed a small marble-like thing between her fingers. Something swirls inside, glowing a soft bright hue.
"At least I got you, huh. You can't even sense the time that's passed in there, can you."
"I've been here ages. I've made a whole new world, you know. Something you will absolutely love."
"It's got magic and beautiful love stories."
"I won't be able to find you immediately, that will put too much attention on both you and me, but we will find each other eventually. I know it."
"I need to stop stalling." She took a deep breath and gently placed the marble in the space in front of her. The space around it filled with a warm light and the marble disappeared into that same light.
"See you soon."
"Okay, it's my turn now...." Allison said as she stepped into the darkness around her.
"Don't worry, Rinaye. I'll find you again." She whispered to the emptiness as her form dissolved into light.
