Days passed by quickly once again. Now, the time had come to step into the real battlefield.
Lucien and Duvant walked together, saying their goodbyes to Eliza and asking for her support.
Eliza was like a mother to them, so it was only natural for Lucien and Duvant to always say farewell to her.
“Bye-bye, Eliza!” Duvant said, and behind him, Lucien bowed his head repeatedly, as usual. It looked very funny in Eliza’s eyes.“Duvant, Lucien,” Eliza called out to the two boys.
They turned around, and Eliza continued, “Do your best, kids.”
Duvant and Lucien looked delighted upon hearing that. Duvant grinned, showing his white teeth, and Lucien smiled. But then, the forbidden words were spoken.
“Hahaha of course we’ll do our best, Auntie!”
“Auntie? What did you just say?” Eliza’s tone suddenly turned frightening.Lucien looked at Duvant and swallowed hard.
“Oops… 1, 2, 3 RUN, LUCIEN!” Duvant shouted, grabbing Lucien’s hand and running as Eliza chased after them.
Eliza eventually stopped running and just sighed in frustration.“Those brats…” she muttered.
She watched the two strange boys one mischievous, the other very quiet.
Still, every time she saw them leave to fight for their dreams, she felt proud.
She looked at the numbers on the backs of their jerseys pyers number 7 and 10.
Elsewhere, Eden woke from his deep sleep. He greeted Reinhart, had breakfast, and got dressed in his jersey.
The boy who once gave up on the world had now turned into a spirited kid, ready to shake the world. He wore jersey number 8, inspired by his new idol, Toni Kroos.
“Coach, if I py well, will I get a reward?” Eden’s innocent and calm voice made anyone want to pat his head.
Reinhart gently patted his head and replied, “Don’t think about rewards. Think about how to win.”
“Hehehe, of course.”
For Eden, there was no better reward than getting support from Reinhart, whom he considered a father figure even though Reinhart was only 23, just 8 years older.
His mature personality, shaped from a future time, made that easy to forget. With that, Reinhart and Eden left together.
Elsewhere, Conrad picked up Mike Langkhsear, Oillie, and Ryan. Their next stop was Harry’s house.
They were already close to Harry’s pce, yet all four of them were now hiding behind a tree, piled on top of each other.
Their eyes were fixed in one direction, where Harry was talking to a girl who looked a bit taller than him.
Then, a rare moment happened. The girl suddenly kissed Harry on the forehead and waved goodbye.
Conrad reflexively covered Oillie’s eyes. Ryan covered Mike’s.
“Hey, old man, what’s going on?” Conrad groaned.
Mike was also annoyed. “Ryan, what are you doing? I can’t see!”
Conrad and Ryan looked at each other. Conrad said, “You’ll understand when you’re older, kid.”
“Huh?! Are you saying I’m a kid, old man?!” Oillie grumbled, and Conrad gave him a gentle smack on the head and whispered, “Shhh, be quiet.”
Once the girl was gone, they came out of hiding.
Ryan cleared his throat, “Ahem, let’s go pick up Harry.”
Embarrassed by his age and by spying on someone’s love story, Conrad joined in, ughing awkwardly, “Hahaha, right, let’s pick him up.”
They walked over to Harry, who still hadn’t moved an inch. He was frozen from what had just happened.
Mike and Oillie tried to snap him out of it, panicked.
Conrad ughed, “Hahaha, young love is beautiful.”
The five pyers from the same background Bradford Academy walked together.
The girl who kissed Harry ran away with a blushing face. Her elegant appearance hid something deeper in her mind.
“Kyaaa I finally did it! I wonder if he’s happy? Or if I annoyed him? Arghhh I’m so happy!”
Yes, she was a girl with two sides. In front of Harry, she acted like a graceful, seductive young woman.
But deep inside, she was just a typical girl who got flustered in front of the one she liked.
After calming herself down, she looked at Harry being carried by his friends it was adorable.
She was happy that Harry was chasing his dreams again.
With love in her eyes, she looked at the number 11 on Harry’s jersey the number that made him so happy.
Beside him were Mike with number 2, Conrad with 5, Ryan with 21, and Oillie with 30.
In another pce, Lucas walked alone, staring at the photo on his smartphone wallpaper. It was a picture of a young boy holding a trophy a photo from when he pyed brilliantly and helped his team succeed.
His joyful face from before tragedy struck.
He put his phone away and continued walking. The sun was rising. On a quiet street near the training ground, a man who looked completely different from before appeared.A man wearing jersey number 9 arrived, and all the pyers—including Reinhart—were now present. His aura was different—stronger than before.
With that powerful presence, Reinhart stepped forward, looked at Matias, and smiled.“Alright, everyone’s here. Let’s go win.”And so, the Bradford pyers marched into battle.
As the pyers left on the team bus, an article finally appeared:
League Table Prediction: Expert Voting & Analysis! After a series of polls held by Football One media and heated discussions among national football analysts, the English football public finally received a glimpse of who will shine, survive, and sink this season in the fourth-tier EFL League Two.
Top Teams: Promotion FavoritesExpected to dominate the season and secure promotion are the following three clubs:
AFC Wimbledon – Consistent in pre-season and the top favorite. Their squad is considered much more mature and solid this season, especially after signing striker Daniel Scott from the Championship.
Port Vale – Recently relegated, but seen as highly motivated to bounce back quickly. They still retain pyers from their League One stint.
Fleetwood Town – A club undergoing a long-term project, gaining support due to squad depth and a progressive coach. Highlighted by their rising star, Axwell Bradley, also from the Championship.
Mid-table: Surprise or Sinking Ship? These are the teams expected to float in the middle of the table. They aren't favorites, but could surprise:
Carlisle United
Walsall
Swindon Town
Tranmere Rovers
Barrow A.F.C
Salford City
Notts County
Newport County
Morecambe
MK Dons
Harrogate Town
Gillingham
Grimsby Town
Doncaster Rovers
Accrington Stanley
Bromley
Cheltenham Town
These teams could climb to the top if they gain momentum—but if they're not careful, the relegation zone also looms.
Danger Zone: Relegation CandidatesAnd here are the three teams most predicted to struggle in League Two this season:
Bradford City – Despite an impressive pre-season, their squad depth is shallow. Most of their pyers are very young, making them injury-prone. This is problematic given the intense league schedule.
Chesterfield – Recently promoted from the National League, but the jump to a higher level may be a tough adjustment.
Crewe Alexandra – Analysts point to inconsistency and a weak defense as their major issues.
Reinhart, reading the article, just smiled. Because the real game begins now.He looked at the pyers on the bus and said, “Let’s prove them wrong.”With that, the pyers’ motivation soared and the game began.
