The girl...Pinnel made Grand want to rip his eardrums out due to her sherr amount of blabbery.
"Hey talk to meeeee?!!." Yeah, no, he couldn't handle her anymore, he was now standing at the door to his house.
He turned around and looked at the girl with a dark expression on his face. "Why are you following me?."
Pinnel's eyes sparkled. "Finally you talked back, I was just curious about some things and wanted you to tell me, I don't see any other person here."
Grand's slight hostility slightly ceased, it was not because the girl was acting cute...no it was because the scene of the sun casting an orange glow on the surroundings mixed with the unique colours of the girl gave Grand an inspiring image and an urge to draw or even paint something peaceful tonight.
He then moved his eyes to the girl. "Can it wait tomorrow, I am tired and need to go to school."
He was tired but he wasn't going to sleep anytime soon, Pinner smiled. "That's okay, how about you give me your name then."
Grand didn't think much of it and Introduced himself. "My name is Grand, I am known in this neighbourhood by a lot of people and take in commissions for painting and drawing the ideas of people for some money and also personal satisfaction."
"Oh, Velev might get along with you. He also likes drawing and painting." She said with enthusiasm.
Grand hummed but did not react to the girls act of trying to start a conversation with him. He turned around, opened his door and closed, then proceeded to lock it from the inside.
He then walked passed his mother and father who were watching something on the TV and went up to his room.
"Kiddo!! I know you're tired but atleast greet us when you come back home." His dad yelled from downstairs.
Grand rolled his eyes and shouted back. "Sorry!!."
Grand entered his room, it was quite big for the room of a teenager and in the walls were various magnificent paintings and drawings that envoked emotion in any one that witnessed it.
He freshened up and took a bath before coming out and wearing a white shirt and trouser as he brought out a blank portrait and placed it on a easel at the center of the room.
Stolen novel; please report.
He stood there looking at the blank canvas with contemplation and recalled his observation from earlier. The sun was glowing orange and yellow. The girl had light pink hair and had a cloth tied on her forehead, she had purple eyes and the feeling he got from her was curiosity and amazement.
He picked up the brush and started stroking and as he drew his mind wandered to the strange scene of the new neighbours while he let his hands do the work.
The neighbours seemed to be energetic and filled with life...he only saw Pinnel but that was enough to give him that idea.
He dipped his brush into pink.
But he did wonder why Pinnel followed him, even if she was looking for an explanation she should have been aware of the gloomy expression on his face.
He dipped his brush into green.
He forgot about it and slowly immersed himself on his work. Within thirty minutes he finished his work and calmly placed his brush into a cup.
He stared at the painting for a moment.
"Grand come down for dinner?!!." His eyes twitched, he wanted to observe it more but it would have to wait, he went out of the room and closed the door behind him.
And now In the empty room stood a painting and by the window, a spherical and metallic object floated, it's lens slightly expanding and contracting.
In the neighbours house, a girl with pink hair and purple eyes curiously stared at the interior of the room, there was a strange upside down V on her forehead and thing she was holding was a transparent tablet that controlled the spherical drone.
Suddenly her door opened and a boy with crystalline white hair and a H on his forehead came in carrying an orb with the same letter on it. "Princess how are you liking the home world from where your father comes from, you may be half human but your mother loved equality and now that your of that age, your wish is fulfilled."
Pinnel turned her head from the screen and looked at him then at the orb. "Are you going to sleep Hes?."
Hes smirked. "Of course I am, I need to replenish energy to maintain a human form unlike you who is part human and part Kleoide."
Pinnel giggled. "Hey it5not my fault I am different."
Hes smiled, then he glanced towards the screen and saw something that made him pause. "...did Velev make that...no the image uses organic substances...that also isn't out house, are you stalking our new neighbours Pinnel."
Pinnel blinked innocently, her lips curling into a playful grin. "Stalking? Oh, come on, I was just curious! Plus, I can't help it if his artwork is that good. Don't you think it's fascinating, Hes? The way he captures the world with just a few strokes?" She leaned in closer to the screen, her fingers gently brushing over the image of the room and the floating orb.
Hes frowned slightly, his gaze narrowing as he examined the details more closely. "This isn't just curiosity, Pinnel. This feels... different. The way he captured the atmosphere—it’s as if he sees something deeper than what’s in front of him. It's unsettling."
Pinnel tilted her head, her purple eyes glowing faintly in the low light. "Yeah, he is like Velez, anyways I am going to school tomorrow...right?."
Hes smiled. "Yeah, Mories already filled in the admissions papers, your class is ,Class-E."
Pinnel input a command to make the drone return. "Hmmm well I hope I make some new friends tomorrow and maybe and hopefully meet Grand again."
