Fay exists in a world of order. Strength justifies existence. Humans have long done battle with the beasts of the world using their soul-pieces, gifts granted to them by the Sun. Fay''''s piece was unusable. In his heart, he knows something is missing from it, and often dreams of being chained when he sleeps. He does not mind his quiet life however, and pushes these thoughts from his mind, content with his little life alongside his aging grandmother and friends at the local guild in his quaint town of East River. One day however, the Beast Hunters do not return from the labyrinth. Fay''''s is not a brave man, but his defiance of order will not go unnoticed by those that see to its maintenance.
