A little warning would've been nice, although if this skill hurts like that so much, why don't people just appraise each other to death? It would seem very convenient.

[There are several ways to block an appraisal, the most common is to outclass your opponent in raw elemental strenght.] So basically, I should be more powerful than the person appraising.
