Chapter 27 Living

  I woke up after crying myself to tears. My throat was dry probably from the crying. I got out of bed and went down the stairs.

  It kinda reminded me of my home...that is destroyed. I will never be able to see it again. The thought of that made my heart sink remembering all the things that happened.

  I would have cried if I wasn't dehydrated. I went down another set of stairs not seeing the kitchen on the second floor. when i was on the first floor so was i greeted by breakfast getting made.

  Luna was sitting on a table eating some bread. While I think her name was Ren was making breakfast, it looked like pancakes.

  "Ah you're awake". Ren said with a smile. "Sit on the table".

  I sat down and waited for the pancakes to be made..."water".

  "Oh you want water". She takes a cup goes to the tap and turns it on when the cup is filled up. She comes back to me and gives me the cup.

  I immediately slurp it down. "More". After five cups so am I finally pleased and the pancakes are ready. She sets the pancakes on the table.

  And we eat the pancakes me and luna. Of course so have chad his own bowl of food which he obliterates and then asks for more.

  "Chad this is gonna be your third bowl". Ren said tiredly.

  And then luna and i asked for seconds. She gave us our pancakes and chad his third bowl which he eats in 1,3 seconds he also eats the bowl...impressive.

  "Well, I'm going to work. If you want more pancakes just take them from the plate and inazuma please walk chad he gets a lot of energy after eating". She then hurried off to her job.

  "Luna, what do you think of her?". I asked

  "She’s good she gives us food housing clothes and entire floors as our room’s". True

  "Doesn't it kinda feel like she’s trying to buy our love like seriously our par-".

  "Stop we already know that she can’t compare to our parents but she’s doing her best she is the only thing we got! our parents are dead!. She was crying at the end and then she went up to the second floor".
