The first thing on the agenda was to pick out a new name for his minion. No self respecting man of power should have an unnamed minion. But it was still after all still a goblin. He needed something that conveyed power but also accounted for the fact he was essentially his permanent bodyguard for the apocalypse. So in Honor of the Air Force one his little minion could go by Goblin Force 1. Adam was a big picture person with these types of things even a small little goblin could be a good start to an empire.
With this in mind he went ahead and formally named his first tamed monster Goblin Force 1.
Now when he looked at his goblin there was a notable difference.
It now read.

Now what was he to do with his little minion. First step first was leveling the poor fella to see how useful he could be. With this in mind he decided to give his newly leveled Goblin Force 1 a knife from the kitchen and orders to attack the next goblin as soon as it came through. As expected the next Goblin jumped through soon after.

Attempt to Tame level 0 Goblin?
Almost as immediately as the goblin came through his goblin triggered bezerk and his stats jumped up to show.

Even thought the oncoming goblin also triggered bezerk the multiplied stats on Goblin Force 1’s side was such that the battle was of little to no question. The knife also should help tip the scales in Goblin Force 1’s favor. The Unnamed Goblin rushed towards Goblin Force 1 and attempted to claw into him. Goblin Force 1 took some damage but was quickly able to get the other Goblin to the ground. The stat difference was simply too much. However, it seemed that Goblin Force 1 was performing force than he ought to be. Oddly enough it did not seem like Goblin Force 1 had any use for the knife. It was in the hand where Adam had given it to him but he was simply gripping it in his hand. It was almost as if he were fighting the other goblin with one hand. However, when the stat difference is that much it really does not matter all that much. Goblin Force 1 began to brutally head-but the other goblin until they were unable to move their arms or legs at all. Then with a decisive finishing move Goblin force 1 ripped the weaker goblins trachea cleanly out of his throat.
Well that was going to give him nightmares thought Adam. In short order Adam felt the notification that he had received 2 more experience points and his minion had gotten another experience point

Since it appeared that his bodyguard had it all under control he quickly updated his order to protect him and keep any hostile goblins from getting to him while he slept and to do whatever optimized his ability to do that. He also took the knife back as Goblin Force 1 did not seem to know how to use it.
Still as he felt good about it he made his way to his guest bedroom to try to get some much needed rest.
Without much difficulty Adam fell asleep. As he drifted off to sleep the familiar sound of his minion starting to fight another unnamed goblin could be heard in the distance.
As he faded to sleep he looked at his stats one more time.
