Taming monsters was a vital part of any good fantasy book so Adam was naturally very excited and could barely stand waiting for the next goblin to come through the portal. Finally the chosen goblin came through the portal. Excellent, thought Adam, this one is going to be my first minion. As expected the little goblin sprinted towards him. Seeing this Adam selected the word Tame that was popping up over his head. Immediately, a pop up menu appeared showing him the following.

As this was happening the Goblin had arrived to him and was trying to claw at his knees. It was surprisingly painful but as Adam selected yes he suddenly could feel himself inside the mind of the goblin. The Goblins movements suddenly stopped. The system began calculating and spit out the following.

That was interesting it appeared that taming also allowed him to see the potential of his summons. Level three seemed very low even for such a small and weak creature. But a minions a minion I guess.

As Adam now looked at the goblin instead of the rabid attempt to claw through his blue jeans it seemed to be blankly staring at him. Now the following options where available.

It made a lot more sense now why the little creatures would constantly madly rush him. They had triggered that skill. Berserk sounded like an awful skill but had some limited uses. He could imagine that the goblins needed it to compete with just about anything so it was no surprise that they had a skill like that. With this is mind Adam thought he might as well learn the skill. With this in mind he selected learn.
Once again a pop up window appeared.

As all of this was occurring the portal trembled again and another advisory appeared and rushed towards him. As it was about to reach him his minion talked it sidewise and began to know and bite towards the new goblin's throat. Almost before Adam could figure out his next step his new minion succeeded and ripped his enemies trachea out with his teeth.
