Chapter 100: Gelly Ascension Ship

We stood in the bridge, watching as out ship slowly coasted towards the massive fg ship of the Gellical Collective. The size of our venture hit us all now. The Gellical Ascension ship filled the whole viewport now, the side of the goliath jerking open to swallow us whole. We began our nding pattern, effectively sealing our fate to the hands of the Gellys.

Uwu turned to the crew, “Alright everyone, to the loading bay. You know the drill.”

Everyone shuffled out with moans and groans, trying to mask our own fear. We would be the first crew to set foot on the Gellical ship that wasn’t a part of the cult. The very first Anthros would be the crew of the Yiffin II, and if this all pyed out, then it would be the first ship taken by Anthro’s and used to create a buffer from those who wished to do Meowlith Prime harm. The moon could get back to its roots.

  If we succeeded, that is.

I met up with everyone in the cargo bay. The whole group, save for Sucker, was in front of me. The little Anthro was going to run coms and data from the bridge. Walter was to stay here and protect her. Everyone was told that Speck was to keep them both safe, much to his dismay.

The rest of us were ready to head out.

“Redwood, you’re leading team two, with Echo, Yeti, Dutch, and Slizz. I will lead team one with Captain, Mama, Yami, Ash, and Gabriel. We’ll lead the package to the bridge to confront Michael, team two, your job is to diverge at the best possible time. Take out any defenses and shut down the auto destruct. Once done, we can cut the head off the snake and enjoy our brand-new ship.”

Yeti rose his hand, “Sounds like shit. Why can’t I go to the bridge and punch that shit eater in the nose?”

“For that exact reason. I can’t have you fucking things up, right?” I smiled at him, my eyes burning into his mind.

“Yup. Sounds like me. I’ll be good.” He shrugged, “Not my pybook this time around.”

“Alright,” I looked over everyone. My crew, new and old. Yeti and Dutch. We were all ready to go.

We stood in front of the lowering gates, our hearts pumping, gun strapped in our hands, wary of what was awaiting us.

The doors hit the floor of the Gelly nding bay. Bright lights bsted our eyes. I held my pistol firmly, waiting for an attack to unch against us, but nothing happened.

My eyes adjusted to the light, and before me stood a most terrifying sight. A thousand, at least, Gellical Deacons stood at attention on either side of the ramp. Missionaries stood stoically at the front of every regiment, a Priest right at their side. Bishops walked incense burners down every isle, casting smoke into the air, leaving the hanger overwhelmed in a haze: chanting prayers and psalms to their men around them.

Yeti scoffed, “They must have a small penis epidemic on this ship. Look at this shit.”

“Shh.” I hissed back at him.

A Priest approached the ship with a dozen Bishops in robes trailing behind him.

Echo shifted about uncomfortably, “Must be about ten-thousand guns in here. I don’t like these odds.”

The Priest stepped up to the edge of our ramp, “Welcome, distasteful guests. You are not welcome here in the slightest, as decreed by our Lord and Savior, but Saint Admiral Michael has allowed a small transgression to right the sins of our past. Atonement is godly, after all.”

I looked about my group and stepped forward. The Priest before me began to twitch, his hand shooting up to his head. His face shown small signs of grimace.

I smirked at him, “You okay? Looks like you’re in pain.” I tilted my head to the side with a pout.

Several other Priests nearby began to hold their heads as well, trying to hide their pain.

I gnced back at Walter and smiled. The man came through big time.

  “No, no. I’m fine.”

His face returned to normal. He must of stopped trying to read our minds. Fucking pricks.

“Please, I would invite to meet our Pious leader, but first, I must request for you to leave your weapons here.”

Yeti scoffed, “Please, I’d rather leave my asshole spread wide open in prison than leave my guns here.”

Captain Uwu hushed him and stepped forward, “I’m Captain of this crew, and I speak for them all when I say we won’t go without our weapons, just like you have psma cannons aimed at our ship. If you can respect that, we can continue with this trade. And trust me, we find this as unpleasant as you do.”

The Priest nodded, “Just as our wise leader has predicted. Do you have the ‘package’ we requested?”

Mama pushed the rge crate forward, the pulse lift hovered down the ramp. She adjusted her rge pack on her back, grumbling to herself.

The Priest winced in pain again, his finger pressing against the temple of his head. “I trust he is comfortable in there?”

“You know it, now, lead the way, if you would.” I gestured down the open path through the Gellical army.

“This way.” He turned on a dime and strode down the path, his Bishops spreading like the Red Sea allowing us through.

I gestured for everyone to follow, leaving Walter, Sucker, and Speck on the ship. The ramp closed behind us, leaving us to the will of the Gellys.

The Bishops followed up behind us as we continued down the path. The Gellys were still as statues, not even flinching at our presence.

Uwu leaned close to me, “The first part is done, now we just have to hope we can pull off the rest.”

I leaned into him, “We’ve been in tougher spots than this. Remember Calico?”

“Shit, you’re right. I trust you.”

“Thanks, now I just need to trust myself.”

The Priest turned, “Hurry now, every second spent on this ship taints it’s holiness.” He strode through a rge doorway and deeper into the ship, with us right behind him.

Now we just needed to start phase two of our pn. Hopefully the massive army behind us wouldn’t put too much of a hamper on our pns.
