14 – More Leveling and Upgrading in Stormhill.

I figured it was Time to explore more of the beach. I was still hesitant to clear the coastal cave since the demi-Human chieftains were not only two bosses, but they had several minions that would fight with them. I instead traveled further along the beach, where I found a merchant. I bought several arrows and a cookbook that teaches me how to craft several fire reted items and an anti-poison item.

I then did Some parkour to reach another part of the beach, once there I found an abaster lord who was just wandering around. He was a chump though, even While riding Torrent, I sughtered him fairly quickly. I also found a cave that led back to the stranded graveyard and the cave of knowledge. The ledge that this cave led to had the haligdrake talisman On a corpse at the edge.

I wandered around a little bit more, at one point arriving at the top of a River. I used a spirit spring to leap up onto one of the cliffs of Stormhill. While up here I killed a bunch of Land octopi when I heard it.

"Hello-o? Can you hear me? Help me! I'm stuck. Hello? Hellooo! Anyone!"(Alexander)

  ALEXANDER!!!!

I looked over and saw a rge jar with arms stuck in the ground. I approached.

"Oh my stars, I'm so happy to see you! I am Alexander, also known as the Iron Fist. And as you can see, I'm stuck here. Please, can you help me out of this?"(Alexander)

  "Sure, I'll help you."(Alexis)

"My thanks! a thousand thanks! Just give me a good smack from the rear, with something nice and big. Put those doubts to rest, I'll be just fine. I'm very well trained.Give it your all, I say!"(Alexander)

I equipped the Golden Halberd I got from Defeating the Tree Sentinel and proceeded to swing it at Alexander's backside as hard as I could.

  "Oof!... Ouch!... Grah!"(Alexander)

It took three swings to free him... But now he was out. I re-equipped my lordsworn greatsword and approached him as he stood.

"Ahh! Well pyed good dy. Well Pyed. Though that mighty wallop of yours almost spelt the end of me!Ha ha ha ha! Well, I'm out now, and that's what counts. I thank you, and as a token of my appreciation, I'd like you to have this."(Alexander)

Alexander handed me a piece of Exalted Flesh, an item that temporarily boosts physical damage upon use.

"Once again, the pleasure is mine. I am the warrior jar known as Alexander. Iron Fist Alexander, in fact. I journey to the east, where I intend to further my education in the ways of war. Beyond these nds lie the scarlet rot-blighted Caelid Wilds. And upon their southern edge is Redmane Castle, in which a festival of combat is being held. I'd heard whispers of such festivities before... Doesn't the notion set your breast aflutter!Ha ha ha ha!"(Alexander)

I Started making my way across Stormhill, the winds getting stronger as I got closer to Castle Stormveil. There were few pces of Note before I encountered another shack on the side of the road. Within was a knight, standing proud. I approached.

"Not seen you before. Name's Bernahl. Tarnished, just like you. Let me ask you something. Are you here in the Lands Between to take up the fight? Does your faith in the guidance of grace hold firm, despite the colpse of the Golden Order?"(Bernahl)

  "My faith holds firm."(Alexis)

"Yes, you're a Tarnished through and through. Takes me back, but that's a quality needed now more than ever. Any interest in bearing the torch, of my battle arts? All I know is the sword. Picked up a fair few tricks in my time, too. Now's the time to pass 'em on. To a good and proper Tarnished, like you."(Bernahl)

I took a look at the scrolls he presented, each One a useful skill in battle.

"There's a myriad of battle arts in these nds that I've yet to discover. Mementos of all the warriors who raised their arms in battle, lost, and died. A fine tale, all told, of true chivalric romance. That's how I fell in love with the sword, and the arts of combat. It grants meaning even to falling in battle, to death itself."(Bernahl)

I made my selection, "Storm Bde", "Endure", and "No Skill". This was a decent set of skills.

  "Well, until we meet again."(Bernahl)

I left The shack and traveled up the path towards the coliseum, once I was in front of the coliseum I saw A red mist coalesce into the shape of a person. I knew this guy was a recusant, but I don't remember which one. He started running at me...

He was a chump. He never even got a single hit on me. I absolutely destroyed him. He left behind the Hammer Talisman so that was nice but... He was seriously unremarkable.

I continued wandering around Stormhill. I managed to Get to the top of the gatefront where I got the Arrows Reach Talisman, and I found the Stormhill Evergaol. I didn't enter it though, because I knew that there was a crucible knight in there and those guys were all like... Uber powerful. Instead, I continued around the cliffs until I found A graveyard.

Honestly, the spirit jellyfishes were beautiful. It was an absolutely gorgeous scene. I didn't linger though, as undead started to appear. I found some smithing stones and a box of ashes. The Godrick Soldier Ashes. I then teleported to the Saintsbridge site of grace. Once there, I applied the Storm Bde skill to My lordsworn greatsword. Then I proceeded towards Summon Water Vilge. I needed to kill the Tibia Mariner there to get access to D's incantations which would make my life so much easier when dealing with undead.

It truly was the easiest of the Tibia Mariners, the only time I took damage was when one of the summoned undead stabbed my shoulder from behind when I wasn't paying attention. The Mariner teleporting around the ke was more annoying than anything and all of its attacks were heavily telegraphed. In no time at all, I was standing in an Empty ke amongst the ruins of the vilge, deathroot in hand and a few thousand runes more powerful.

  "??. ?? ?? ??. ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??."(???)

I put the level in my faith, bringing that stat up to fifteen. and with the deathroot in my hand, I proceeded to finish exploring the ruins. I used a stonesword key to enter the basement, there were a whole bunch of turtles there. In a chest at the far end, I got the Green Turtle Talisman.

As I progressed down the road I came upon a tunnel, one that led to a room where I found Alexander once more.

"Oh, I hadn't expected to see your face again. Are you heading to the festival of combat, too? Oh, no need to be coy with me. Judging by the fine wallop you gave the old backside earlier, I would venture you're something of a warrior yourself. The mere thought of such a festival gets the blood pumping, eh! Now, now, according to my calcutions, passing through this road should lead us to the Caelid Wilds. But however you slice it, it seems we've reached a dead end. I'm sorry to have raised your hopes. It seems my calcutions must have been off...

I was created to be a warrior vessel. Many great warriors reside within me, ever dreaming of becoming a great champion. It's my destiny. And the reason for which I quest. It is my ordeal, you could say. To test myself, to better myself, to fell ever greater foes. And then, one day, we'll be a single great champion. The greatest of them all! What do you think, eh? How do you rate my chances? Heh heh..."(Alexander)

  ...

I did not expect the wall-of-text level dialogue I just got. It's my first time arriving at this end of the Gael Tunnel before opening the door.

Regardless, I felt that I was mostly done here so... I could only proceed to one other area of Limgrave to get an upgrade that I would need in order to obtain some fast levels. It was time to go Bloody Finger hunting.

  "?? ?? ? ?? ?? ??!"(???)
