Chapter 193- Final War (Part 3)

Shinji stood by himself in an empty subway, the lights had a weird buzzing sound unpleasant to him, the railway was slightly rusted and the benches were dusty like no one had been here for years, the paint on the signs above were chipped.

  “Search”.

Shinji’s eyes glowed green as a 3d image of the entire subway station appeared in his head, every single detail mapped out with perfect accuracy, even the slightest change in wind and the slightest change in heat would immediately alert him.

“There’s only two of you here, Athena told me there would be three”. Shinji’s face shifted into a look of annoyance. “Are you underestimating me? Nakamura would never do something as stupid as that”.

Shinji lifted his hand into the air as space around him began to warp, the walls of the subway began to get collapse towards him.

“I’ll kill you all right here”.

  [Chains Of Heaven]

Golden chains scattered throughout the reality shifted subway, each part of the chain was sharpened like thin knives that could slice a thick log in two.

A woman holding a spindle dashed forwards from behind him as her attack was stopped midair.

Shinji looked back and stared at her flying attack being stopped my an invisible wall.

“Surprise attacks don’t work on me, now what is a primordial like you doing here with Nakamura”.

Her spindle glowed a bright shade of gold as it began to slowly break through the invisible barrier.

“Come on, human, just get hit”.

She had long ginger hair held up into a ponytail and bright blue eyes that pierced into Shinji.

She wore nothing but just a long white cloak on her.

“Usually I wouldn’t hit women, but you’re an exception”.

Shinji clenched his fist and shoved it straight into her chest , as she was blasted forwards into the steel wall.

The entire subway began to twist from Shinji’s abilities, the ceiling became the floor and the floor became the ceiling.

The bench dropped down from above and broke into a bunch of wooden planks.

The goddess flew into the wall, dark fire burnt on her injury preventing any sort of healing, the skin on her chest began to sag, turning into a slime like substance.

“You’re harder than I thought, human”.

She gripped her spindle as she tore off her own flaccid skin as hot injury on her chest began to heal.

  “Fucking hell”.

She gripped her own chest as an extreme feeling rushed throughout her, a pain that sparked throughout her body every ten seconds.

“All I need to do is buy time for him”.

Amber electricity crackled from Shinji’s legs as he dashed forwards into an instant as a large and sturdy barrier surrounded him, pressing her further into the wall.

A bright light filled his eyes, Shinji felt everything began to collapse around him as his sense of vision completely disappeared, a white light was all he could see.

“Come on, you think blinding me would stop me from seeing”?

His barrier began to slowly fall apart like a plastic container, as the many layers of his shield slowly broke away.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

Shinji’s vision immediately returned to him as the photoreceptor cells immediately regenerated.

The man standing in front of him had large white angelic wings, a toned and muscular body with a large beard and long white hair.

The spindle pierced through his stomach, as blood gushed out of Shinji like a blood pack.

“That spindle ignores my durability doesn’t it? You’re cheating”.

Shinji grabbed the spindle with both hands as he swung the goddess into the air and slammed her into the ground, every single bone in her body began to crack and split.

One of Shinji’s power allowed him to limit collateral damage by pushing all of the damage into the opponent instead of the surrounding.

Light began to collect in the God’s hands into a sphere like shape.

  “Aether! That’s too fucking bright”!

The goddess began to quickly regenerate as she yelled out with her eyes closed.

The God dashed into Shinji, pushing the ball of light into his chest as Shinji began to rapidly balloon up.

Aether rushed towards him as a beam of light pierced through Shinji’s legs as he collapsed to the ground.

Shinji stared at the floor as strong winds gathered around him out of nowhere.

Shinji started to pull the oxygen from the air and create a bubble around his head.

Even if they were gods, they were possessing bodies that were still homunculus, needing water and oxygen to survive.

Shinji completely eliminated any trace of oxygen in the air only allowing himself to breathe.

Without oxygen, even concrete will collapse, Shinji’s precise control of air didn’t allow for this.

Aether collapsed to one knee, his head immediately felt dizzy from hypoxia, as he tried to keep breathing as the light in his hand slowly faded.

Shinji walked towards him as he crushed the God’s neck with one hand.

The goddess held her breath, she gripped the spindle in her hand and dashed forwards while thrusting it towards Shinji at the same time.

Shinji grabbed the spindle with one hand and rapidly pummeled her face with the other hand, every single punch had multiple effects applied onto the Goddess.

A shockwave that deals 5 percent to the punch’s damage to the surroundings.

A curse that deals 1/10 of the punch’s damage every 25 seconds.

A flame that prevents any sort of healing.

The Goddess’s face immediately burnt up in black flames as she slowly peeled her entire face off herself.

The goddess collapsed backwards as Shinji slowly walked forwards, an instant he disappeared and another instant he reappeared above the Goddess, his eyes looking down at a primordial Goddess such as her as if she was a bug.

He raised his leg and stomped on her chest as the floor caved in to his immense power.

The Goddess was shaking while she held her breath as every single stomp from him made her gasp more and more oxygen from her lungs, she began to rapidly cough as flames burned from her chest.

The ceiling began to collapse as a vent rapidly came down onto Shinji, hitting him in the head, throwing him into the ground, as the oxygen began to get released into the surroundings again.

“Thank god, it activated at the perfect time”.

The Goddess began to regenerate from the damage caused by Shinji as she stood up wobbling and shaking.

Shinji sighed as he stood up like a zombie rising from the grave.

“The hell you just do? Is it telekinesis”?

The light began to flicker in and off, as the glass cracked and electricity fired out towards Shinji, creating a hole in his arm.

  “Is this your doing too”?

The goddess sighed as she lifted her hair up, she stood hunched over and started breathing heavily.

“Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”.

Shinji looked down as the slate of marble beneath him began to slide as his head was pierced through by a broken wooden shard.

  [8 Lives left]

Blood dripped from Shinji’s head as he stood up once again as he escaped from death once more.

“Ananke, I’ve heard of you in books before, a primordial even higher than the fates, why would you ever tell me what you can do? Isn’t that disadvantageous for you”?

Ananke smiled as she replied in a heavy gasp.

“The more you try to prevent your fate, the faster it happens”.

Shinji looked around for anything that could possibly harm him.

“Shit, anything could possibly happen right”?

He ran straight towards her at full speed, Ananke pointed her spindle towards him, he immediately tripped on a rock as the spindle pierced through his throat.

  [7 Lives Remaining]

Shinji grabbed her shirt, and pulled her closer as he put his arms around her body, hugging her.

“If something bad happens to me then it happens to you too”.

Shinji grabbed her by her head and tried to twist her head off her body.

Ananke grabbed her spindle and pierced it into Shinji’s stomach yet he wasn’t stopping, his hands kept trying to twist her head off her body.

“Come on, do something will you”?

Ananke kept struggling, as she felt the muscles in her neck begin to rip as she grabbed his arms trying to tear them away from her.

  “L-let go”!

Shinji tightened his grip on her as her head began to twist even further.

The ground began to shake as Shinji tripped and pulled away from her.

  “The hell”?

An entire airplane crashed into him, the airplane was like paper as Shinji stood like a brick wall taking the entire plane head on.

[There was no one on the plane, it seemed as if everyone had escaped before it crashed.]

“Really thoughtful of you to not to have fought empty handed, those hostages underground really ensures that I can’t use anything big to kill you instantly”.

Ananke leaned against the wall as she softly held her own neck and stared at him with a bloodied expression.

  “Yea, isn’t that fun”?

  Shinji sighed.

  “Ultimate Ability, Martial Ring”.

The entire area became pitch black as the only lit up area was the very ring that were standing upon, a white square with ropes surrounding them to make sure they don’t fall off.

Ananke was completely trapped in the ring with Shinji.

  Shinji smirked.

“There’s nothing else your ability can do to me now, we’re isolated in an empty place”.

“You’re forgetting that I can use mine too”.

Ananke created distance between him and her.

  “Ultimate Ability, Boundless Contrivance”.
