The sound of glass shattering filled the streets, as the crowd underneath began to run away from Erebus.

  Erebus’s eyes widened as light began to fill his vision, the darkness began to clear as the bullet shot past through, he felt an unknown substance piercing through his chest, as golden ichor rushed out, creating a huge hole within his body.

  Akane’s reality changing abilities had the area of effect of an entire city, changing the size of a bullet was like kicking a baby.

  But she also had the ability to control the momentum of any item within an area of effect of 5 meters.

  Erebus stared back down at her with a gleam in his eyes, as he waved his hands, the hole in his chest immediately healed up.

  Erebus instantly appeared in front of her, pushing her with his body as she flew straight through a building as debris flew into the air.

  “Arghh”!

  She wiped the small amount of blood at her lips as she stood back up, the momentum from Erebus’s punch was instantly lowered before it reached her, even then it launched her far back.

  “This is not advantageous for me, I have no means of healing, is this really fair”?

  Spikes of darkness rose from the ground, flying straight at her as she protected herself by piercing her own hands with the spikes, stopping its momentum before it hit her face.

  Jaclyn ran straight up behind Erebus as she landed a punch straight towards his jaw, as Erebus flinched backwards.

  “That girl down there”.

  Erebus stared down towards Yuki.

  “She’s restraining my power output somehow”.

  “Your target is me”!

  Jaclyn managed to land another punch towards his chest, Erebus immediately blocked it with his arm, Jaclyn’s sword immediately grew in size from her other hand, as the holy sword pierced through Erebus’s stomach.

  With one back slap of Erebus, he knocked Jaclyn all the way down from the sky.

  Jaclyn dropped into the ground like a meteor, landing beside Akane.

  Akane walked past her, staring up at the levitating Erebus, darkness clouded him from behind.

  “Nice to meet you, Hero Jaclyn”.

  Akane extended her hand towards Jaclyn.

  “Yea, you too”.

  Jaclyn grabbed her hand, pulling herself up using Akane’s hand.

  “Athena mentored me for around a decade, I’m only helping her”.

  Her eyes stayed emotionless and calm while a smile spread across her face.

  Jaclyn’s eyes peered into Akane.

  “You sure? You don’t look human in the slightest, you look like an automaton trying to look human”.

  “Really? I guess I should try better to smile, I’m really not that good at this”.

  Athena stood in front of Yuki, protecting herself from any of Erebus’s attacks, as she kept evacuating all of the civilians.

  “Come on, go go”.

  The crowd began to muddle together like an endless sea of people.

  “Let’s go, Hero Jaclyn”.

  Jaclyn and Akane ran towards Erebus, jumping off a nearby building and engaging in direct combat with Erebus.

  Jaclyn fired repeated punches directly towards Erebus, each punch was like an explosion of a thousand suns firing directly at once, yet Erebus blocked every single strike with ease.

  Akane immediately pulled out her gun as she fired point blank at Erebus, Erebus immediately tried to dodge but his momentum was instantly slowed down as the bullet went straight through Erebus’s forehead.

  Coming out the other side as nearby buildings collapsed and the darkness cleared from the skies.

  Darkness began to encroach the entire city as the ground turned black, an empty void as the ground began to rapidly shake.

  “Girl.. I am the eternal darkness, the primordial that existed before the universe itself, do you think some puny attack of yours can kill me”?

  Erebus gripped his fist as he slammed into Akane smashing her down into the ground once more.

  “I’m getting tired of doing the same thing over and over again”.

  Erebus pushed Jaclyn aside as the darkness began to surround the entire city like a barrier.

  Erebus stood upon a rooftop

  A loud rumbling occurred as the other buildings around him began to sink into the ground.

  “Look at you humans now, so pitiful, getting weaker as time passes, even the heroes of this generation need the strength of the gods to support them”.

  “Are you not going to kill them, Erebus”?

  Erebus’s eyes widened as he slowly turned his head.

  From the corner of his eye stood a familiar looking man.

  He was man with short black hair and he was could be called prettiest on the entirety of the Earth, beautiful enough to rival the gods, a delicate looking man wearing with a leather jacket.

  “Boy, you got his body? Since you possessed him, his potential to grow has been completely stunted because of you, I guess I have no other choice but to pick you out from your roots now”.

  Erebus stared at Nakamura with calm eyes.

  “Pick me from my roots? You can’t beat me now Erebus”.

  Nakamura smiled as he looked at Erebus.

  Erebus snapped his fingers as shards of darkness launched towards Nakamura as he caught it with his hands.

  “Shinji’s body is too strong for you”.

  Nakamura grinned.

  “Hey, since you mentored me all those years, I’ll give you some time to prepare”. Nakamura threw the shard onto the ground. “I’ll kill you three days from now”.
