Wheered the boss room, I fouly what was described online. A massive group of goblins, and one in the back wearing basic leather armor.
Right wheer, they all stare at me. And the chief in the back blows a horn, causing them all to charge at me.
But I had a pn. There is a dark magic ability that cloaks the user in shadows, making them hard to see. For those without a stealth skill, it's a helpful work around.
It takes about 1 mp every 30 seds so the max amount I activate it for is 5 minutes. Now hidden, I rush towards the goblins. I start ripping them apart one by one.

One by one, I get through the majority of them, leaving just the chief and the archers in the back, on scaffolding at the sides of the boss room.
I deactivate the dark magid then quickly use light magic to bst the archers. I ran out of Mp with that attack. But the only enemy left is the goblin chief.
Before I attack him, I open my iory and pull out the two swords I had made. I wao learn how to use a sword since I always thought they looked cool. And the major fantasy nerd in me always said that two was better than one.
The goblin chief charged at me. He seems a little faster than me, but I am able to rea time and block his hit with my arm, still covered with the gau.
I then thrust one of the swords into the goblins chest, pushing it back. I tell it got hurt from that, but not by much thanks to the armor. But i don’t let up the attack. I push forward and cut towards the goblins arm, the oh a on in it.
I was aiming for the shoulder area to cut off the whole thing, but I hit a little lower. I was still able to deal some damage and remove their on.
But my onsught against the goblin wasn’t finished. In an attempt to flourish with the swords, I tried to spin around and with the other sword I was holding, cut off the goblins head.

I was able to cut off its head, but my spin was very clumsy, almost causio fall. This proved to me the importance of the swordsmen ship skill. Without it I still use a sword, but my movements are all clucky and unbanced.
I could spend SP on it. The base on skills are all avaible at level 1 from the skill store, but I didn’t want to waste any of them unless it was important.
There are also pces where you learn skills, or it is possible to spontaneously learn a skill, but both of them are time ing. No one even knows who the spontaneous one works. It just happens sometimes.
I was doh the dungeon, but o gather all of the stuff that had dropped. I was able to get 3 stones from the main group, the big stone from the chief, the horn he blew at the start of the fight, which I believe is a crafting material. Then from the chest I got the dungeon stone, and a knife from the chest. This was a rare drop from the chest. It would have beeing if I could use it, but that is the one draw back from my skill.
When I stand up to go to the circle and possibly start the run over, I hear something from behind me.
“Zenith?” the person said.
I jump, pletely fused on who and why someone would be talking to me. I also dropped my swords. After I bend over and pce them into my iory, I turn and find a group of my cssmates.
It was Mia and Noah’s friend group. They were all decked out in hunter gear, better thauff I was currently wearing.
“Oh, shit” I said under my breath, then stood straight up. “I was just leaving, the boss room will start to reset once I leave” I say then walk towards the exit circle.
“Wait” Mia say’s while I walk away from the group.
Still trying to be nid not fully say the unspoken part of her dating Noah, that we aren’t supposed to talk anymore, I turn back around.
“What's up?” I say with a forced smile.
But when I turn towards her, she ’t say anything. But Noah spoke up when she couldn’t.
“Hey, Zenith. I didn’t know you became a hunter. Are you hunting alone?” he asked me.
“Ah, yeah. My birthday was a few days ago. And I am hunting alone.” I responded.
‘Really, couldn’t find ao hunt with? Are you that useless in a party?” one of the girls, Katie said. But right when she was done, she got a gre from both Noah and Mia.
I was fused by this gre from both of them. That ent from Katie wasn’t that unusual.
“I mean, I don’t really want to join a party. I’m fine on my own.” I respond, taking the ent seriously. When I was in middle school, I read a book that told me that the best way to deal with bullies was to ighem or take their ents seriously. Bullying never really bothered me, but it still seemed to be good advice.
Mia still hadn’t said anything since she asked me to wait, but was looking around at her friends. Then she said something. “ you wait by the dungeon before leaving? I o talk about something with you?”
“We talked about this Mia” I said, under my breath. “Yeah sure. I o wait before I start my run” I say to her. I really did o wait so my MP recharged si is used in my strategy for the boss hoard. I also o rethink my strategy for dealing with goblins on scaffolding on floor 2.
But once again, I am stopped before I am able to leave, this time by David, Katies boyfriend. He grabbed my arm and held me back, and whispered something into my ear.
“You should really rethink staying, you know what we told you” he said to me, remindihat they told me not to talk to Mia anymore. But looking at his arm on mine, I am brought back to the Christmas festival, when that woman did the same thing.
My head starts hurting thinking ba that.
But now, I am able to move my arm away from him. I started walking away again, and said, “Touch me again, and you’ll lose the arm” ahrough the exit circle.
I looked at my phone and noticed that I had not that much time left before I had to head home. I still wao do one pure speed run, and still o wait for my mp to finish recharging. So while I waited I decided to take a look at my status.

My luck boost was getting closer to leveling up. The run I did where I killed everything I came across had around 375 goblins in that run, and with one more of those runs, I would get it to level 2. But on a pure speed run, I would only kill around 25 monsters, plus the chest, which then would make it around 8 runs. The real thing I cared about was the strength boost. If I could level it up again, I could switch to another duo once again increase the SP I would get. But on a pure speed run, I would only get around 25-30 EXP for it.
I was still good at waiting to increase intelligence boost and the magic skills until after I got MP growth.
But a lot of my decisions are going to be based oime it take me to finish if I rush.
While I am waiting for Mia to finish up, and for my MP to recharge, my head still hurts and I decide to cash out. I am able to sell the stones, all 128 of the regur ones, and the two bigger ones, from the boss and the chest. I was going to put the knife on an au site ter today si is worthless to me. I also figured I o find out a pn to deal with any crafting ingredients, since I don’t think the crafting skill is something I am going to go for.
I ended up making, with one run, 138. That, pulse the 50 the knife normally goes for at au, I already made a det bit for the day.
Befoing bato town to buy some aspirin, I put the now blood caus bato my iory and headed into town.

The highschool group had a pretty easy time dealing with the hoard boss. Thanks to them having so many people, they were able to deal with all of the hoard in very little time. And thanks to the EXP share for the part system, even the low level members of the part hit level 12. Noah, the main front of the party, also hit level 15.
When they were dohey spent their time colleg the stones and other items from the hoard. The chief had a guaranteed drop of the horn. The item is called a calling horn. The horn works by calling every mohat hears it. When used by a monster, it ands them towards a target. But when used by a hunter, it calls the moo the user.
But the reasons the group wa was a crafting recipe. The item they wanted was a shield called the horn shield.
Horn Shield - Defense +50 - Recipe 1x Beginners Shield 4x any Horn Drop - Exp 500
The shield is a very big jump front he beginners shield from crafting whily gives +10 Defense, but would normally require them to hunt a monster with horns and hope it drops. But the calling horn works in its pce. That is one of the things that is good about the goblins den.
And to get the shield, they would just o gh the dungeon 4 times.
There was oher thing that they wanted from the dungeon as well. There was a low ce that the chest had a knife in it.
Goblin Killer - Strength +25 - Possin ce 5%
This was an excellent knife for assassin type hunters. They wao get this for Abby. It is only a 10% ce that they get it. They decided that they would go until they get the shield then decide if they want to go for the knife.
But before they left the dungeon, Noah stopped Mia.
He asked her to talk to her off to the side, away from the group.
“Mia, I don’t want you talking to Zenith any longer” He said, deg to be direct.
And Mia decided to do the same.
“I don’t care” she said, with barely aion. She had begun pieg it together. Her friends, for whatever reason, did not like Zenith.
“What? Mia, I’m your boyfriend. If I don’t want you talking to another boy, you should listen” Noah said, trying to use logic to expin. He was right in a way. If he didn’t waalking to him, then she should respect that.
“Why are you my boyfriend?” She asked. “I wanted your help to go out with someone else and you somehow twisted it into us going out”
“You agreed that if Zenith had ion to us going out, then you wouldn’t tihat we would go out” He said, a little anger entering his voice.
“But that was your idea. It sounded good at the time, but I think it was wrong”
“So, you don’t want to date me?”
Mia was silent for a little. “Not if dating you means I ’t be friends with Zenith. And after the festival, I don’t want to date you that much” She ended up saying.
This was a shock to Noah. But he eventually responded. “Fine. I won’t stop you from talking to Zenith”
“The way you said you proves my point” Mia said under her breath, finally seeing her friends for at least part of the truth.
When they went back to the group, there was a distaweewo of them that the whole group noticed. Katie decided that she would ask about this ter.
But quickly, Noah put on aed attitude and spoke up. “Alright guys, I think we might have enough time for one more run today”
“Yeah, let's do it” David said, excited about the new shield he was going to get.
The rest of them agreed and all of them walked towards the exit circle.
When they exited, Mia started to look around for Zenith. She khat if he had agreed to wait so they could talk, he would not have left. Ohing about Zenith that she had learned was that he always kept his promises.
But he was o be found.
At this, Noah decided to push a button, hoping Mia would see what he wanted her to see.
“Well, the person you want to be friends with, didn’t even wait for you” He said into her ear.
“Well, how about we take a small break before we head ba” he then said to the whole group.
“Yeah, we o recover our MP” Katie said. “Hey Mia, e with me, I have something to talk about while we take our break”
Still looking around for any sign of Zenith, Mia mindlessly said, “Sure” and they walked away together.
When they were detly away, Katie just went out and started asking questions to Mia.
“Mia, why are you so attached to Zenith?”
“Because he’s my best friend” Mia answered with a straight face.
“What do you mean? You have way better friends than him”
“What do you meaer? I’ve knowh for around 10 years. Other than Noah, he’s been my friend for the lo. And for a long time, he was the closest to me.”
Mia was referring to the time before Noah became popur when he always tried to be close to those groups. He had been trying to distance himself from them during middle school, leavih and Mia by themselves.
“But, you're dating Noah. Why are you still trying to be his friend? You choose Noah”
“What do you mean choose? I never asked Zenith to go out with me, and that seems to be the main problem.” She started, then said the ter part under her breath.
“Yeah, but when Noah asked you, you said yes”
“Not really, I just didn’t say no. And he hasn’t really respected my decisions sihen.”
It's a little bit before Katie talks again. “Ok, i'm going to tell you this once. If you tih Zenith, there isn’t much I do to help you. You might even lose the friends you have now” and she walks away.
“Mabye I’m ok with that” Mia says and goes back to the group.
It’s a little bit but eventually, Noah speaks up. “Allright, we should be good enough to head ba. Is everyone ready?”
“YEAH!” the group, minus Mia, says in unison. Then they all head towards the door. But from behind them, Mia heard another person ing.
Quickly turning around, she saw Zenith walking in and holding a drink as well as a bottle of aspirin.
