Very close to the dungeon was a venieore. There I was able to buy a drink and a bottle of aspirin.

  I would ofte headaches like the one I had right now, so I had tried a lot of things to get rid of them in the past. Aspirin helped a little, but not that much. The drink would also help. It was an energy drink, a pretty crappy one, but with a lot of caffeihat sometimes helps the headaches I get.

  After paying, I headed back to the dungeon. My mp still wasn’t good enough, but I still wanted o run for the day. I also promised to have a talk with Mia.

  I was just going to tell her to stop talking to me again. I wao respect what Noah and her friend asked me, so that meant making sure she stopped whatever she was doing.

  When I got back to the dungeon, I had to res my Id and walked bato the entrance.

  There I found Mia and Noah’s group going bato the dungeon. But right before they went in, Mia turned around and saw me. She stopped iracks, letting the o in without her.

  “Zenith, where were you?” she asked.

  Instead of answering, I instead just lifted up the drink I had bought to show her.

  “Oh, well, I’m just going to start,” she said, gathering her fidence. “Why shouldn’t we talk? You said at the festival I shouldn’t talk to you anymore”

  “You have a boyfriend now. He probably doesn't feel good when you talk to uys”

  “So, if i wasn’t dating Noah, you would still talk to me. You wouldn’t tell me not to talk to you”

  “Yeah, probably. But you are, so it doesn't really matter”

  “I think it does,” she says, quietly.

  All the time we were talking, my headache just kept getting worse. But eventually I hear a familiar sound ing from my phone. When I pull it out to check, I see a text from Mana.

  ‘Hey’ was all it said again, just like the one I got the other day when I was asleep.

  “Hey, you're just going to pull your pho during our versation” Mia said to me.

  “I got a text from someone I’ve been trying to get a hold of. She finally texted me back”

  “She… Anyone I would know?”

  “I don’t think so.”

  While we were talking, Mia had gotten closer to me, and when she was asking me questions about my phone, she was able to look at it from over my shoulder.

  “Zenith, is everything OK?” she asked me.

  “Yeah, why wouldn’t it?” I ask her.

  “Because your phone…”

  “Yeah, Mana is my friend,” I told her.

  But she didn’t say anything else. But she had a lot of in her eyes.

  “You should go, your party is probably waiting for you” I tell her.

  “Yeah” she said, theered the dungeon.

  I then go back to sitting down by the entrand reply to Mana.

  ‘Hi Mana, where have you been’

  ‘Sorry, I haven't been on my phohat much the st few days. I was texting to tell you happy birthday.’

  ‘Oh… I hadn't even noticed that you missed my birthday’

  ‘Wow. Do I mean that little to you?’

  ‘No, I was just busy’

  ‘Well, Happy beted birthday! I ’t talk for long but I wao make sure I told you that”

  ‘Thanks, I also o go. Have a good day’

  And like that our versation ends. As well as my headache. I don’t know why but it is pletely gone.

  Still dedicated to the pn of doing o run, just to find out how long it takes to do one speed run.

  So I started my run.

  Every time I find a goblin on my path I kill them and keep running. By the end of floor 1 I had killed around 20 of them. I was able to grab the 4 stohat dropped as well.

  Moving onto the sed floor, I had to gh 35 moblins. I never came across any of the ones on the scaffolding on my speed run, so no magic was used.

  That finally led me to the boss room.

  Deg to try out swords during the whole hoard, not just the boss, I equip both of them and head inside.

  The goblin chief calls on his horn and ht begins.

  And it is over in a matter of minutes. I was able to rip through all of the goblins quite easily. And with my practice with the swords, and one good pced magic shot, I was able to take out the chief without him hittihis time.

  All in all, the run took me about 45 minutes aed me 25 SP and a few dolrs. Nothing two great but both the exp i was gaining was helpful for skill levels and it was more effit still then the slime cave. It is about one SP every 1.8 minutes.

  After I was doh the speed run, I decided to head home, still in charge of dinner for the night.

  When I got home, Aria and Anthem were still there. They told me they had spent most of the day talking about something private.

  It was still too early for dinner so I decided to work out some math.

  I didn’t want to hunt for more than 6 hours a day, so with my current time of 45 minutes per run, I could do 8 runs a day. At 25 SP per run, that was 200 per day. Going back to the slime cave would get me 120 a day. This meant that goblins' den would be better for SP, my main goal.

  But thanks to the longer route to the boss room, I came aoblins and therefot more experieny skills.

  There is one more tier of E rank dungeon I could switch to, but reerength was around 25, so I could go just yet. With some predi, I figured that it would take me about an hour for each run there, and each gave 50 SP. That would total 300 a day.

  With my current path I needed 50 days to finish. I think I could get the time down if I upgrade speed.

  But switg to the better dungeon would bring that down to a little over 33 days.

  I needed a little more data to be sure, but I think that with a few more days, I could upgrade both speed to level 2 and strength to level 3.

  Both of those would leave me with no defense, but for that I had a pn.

  I looked up the item that the boss drops in the goblin's den. The knife I pced on an online au, so that was dealt with.

  But the horn was iing.

  Calling horn - When used by a hunter, causes a rge amount of moo charge at the hunter who blew the horn. All monsters will igher hunters as well, viewing the hunter who blew it as the only target. Uses remaining - 5

  This was the horn that the goblin chief used. I had two of them si was a guaranteed spawn.

  If I used this in the slime cave, it would call a rge amount of slimes that I could use to grind defense boost EXP. None of them could deal damage to me, so I wouldn’t get hurt, and they attacked detly fast. I would also o kill each of them, so there was also a little strength EXP as well.

  I had a day soon where I couldn’t hunt the whole day because of the test I was taking, so I thought then would be a good day to test it out.

  With this, I had a good idea of the few days.

  “Thank you for dinner, Zenith” Aria and Anthem said after we finished eating dinner.

  “Yeah, you're wele guys” I say back to them.

  We were currently sitting together in our living room after we finished dinner.

  Our parents told us they would be home pretty te, sihey had a lot of pns for the night.

  Whenever our parents are home, they try to have at least oe night a week. They have always been a picture perfect married couple to me. They have always been super loving, and I have never seen them fight.

  Currently the three of us are each doing our own thing. I had a book out, Aria was doing something with her phone and Anthem was watg the TV.

  We often hung out like this, and it was o do it agaiually though, something catches my eye oV.

  The news was currently doing a news story about a sihat had retly annouhat she was going to start out as a hunter.

  The only reason I cared about this was the fact that I enjoyed some of this singer's music. I had actually been listening to her musice she was just posting her songs on youtube herself.

  This retty on idea with celebrities actually. They bee hunters and join a guild to make the guild a lot more popur, and for the most part they just bee the guild's spokesperson.

  Very rarely do they bee a high ranking hunter.

  I have no clue if that is the same for this singer, but the news very specifically said she had not agreed to join any guild, which I found surprising.

  “That's iing” Aarted, “I wonder if she is going to really try to be a hunter” he said, mirr my own thoughts.

  “I hope she still makes music” I say.

  “Really, huh? I’ve never really listeo her musithem said.

  “It’s pretty good actually” Aria said, looking at the news as well.

  “Really? I wouldn’t think that she would be an artist you like” Anthem said to her.

  “I meah got me to listen to her. He reended her enough over the st few years, since she signed with a studio” Aria said.

  With the news moving to a less iing story, Aarted talking to me.

  “So, the first few days of hunting. How have they been going?”

  “Fine so far. But I think going for MP growth might be a little too hard.” I said.

  “Really, how long is it going to take right now?” Anthem asked.

  “If I do 6 hours a day and focus solely on killing the boss, about 50 days” I respond.

  “50 days. That's not that long, but since you have to stay at level 1, it might be a little disheartening. When it es to a normal hunter, in the beginning they get stronger every day for a long time” Aria said.

  “Yeah, I remember our first few months. We leveled up like 5 times every day, and got a bunch of skill levels as well.” Anthem said.

  “Yeah, I already got two of my skills to level 2, and am close with oher. But things like speed boost are going to take forever to increase.”

  “Yeah, the speed one is pretty iing to level up. Most people just end up doing a lot of running or using SP to level it up, but that won’t work for you. Well, don’t give up. Who knows Growth will do for you”

  “Yeah. outside of that, I was thinking to get a swordsmanship skill. I think that would be pretty cool. It also only 50 sp. But that is two extra runs on the current dungeon I am at.”

  “Well, yoing to need a bat skill eventually. But I think you could try and wait on it.” Aria told me.

  ht tinued like that for a while. Eventually mom and dad got home, but they were both kind of drunk.

  They seemed kind of out of it ao bed quickly. The rest of us did the same as well.

  And I was ready for the day as well.
