December 27th - Kings End Hideout

  Elijah was currently standing over two people in a medical treatment area.

  These two were two of the highest ranked members of his anization. He founded kings end when he was very young. It took him a while to gain allies, but now it was a massive multinational anization.

  Not everyone knew about his goal, but the two people in front of him did.

  They were the most important members to him. His adoptive mother, Lucy, and his beloved girlfriend Ava.

  “Sir, the two of them took extensive damage, but they will make a full recovery. The alchemists are currently w on potiht now” one member told him.

  “That's good. We’ll o rethink our pn for dealing with the targets. I should never have let them eh them alone. We lost two other members because of me as well” He said, pung a wall in anger.

  “Sir, there was no way of knowing this would happen” the member told him.

  “It doesn't ge the fact that I should have been more cautious. Please tell me if either of them wake up” he asked the member, theo his offi The Hideout

  The Hideout for the Kings End was quite plicated. to hide them from people, they use a plex magioatial magic Elijah captured from a mage in Engnd

  He used it to expand the inside of an abandoned building, creating a much more plex interior.

  The magi stantly off of a Magic Stone ihe building's, so even if he left, the building would stay the same.

  They had bases like this set up all over the world.

  After a while of going over reports about the twets, Aria and Arying to find a way to plete his goal, Lucy came barging into his office.

  “What the hell,Elijah, I thought he was dead!” She yelled at him.

  “So did I” he said back calmly.

  The two of them were refereng Zenith. Lucy was Zenith's mother for a period of time, and she was led to believe that he had died, along with the rest of her family. This was thanks to several different people, a her alone.

  She spent years trying to deal with this, until she met Elijah again And joined his guild. Elijah was only about 12 at the time, so she also became like a mother to him, and a lot of the others in the guild.

  “What are we going to do about this?” She asked him. Her goal, ever since joining, had been to find a way to get her family back. She, like many others, including Elijah, believed magic held the key to getting lost loved one's back. And now, a member of said family was found alive.

  “That's where things get plicated. It seems that he was taken in by the target's family. And he is apparently reted to the goal” Elijah expined.

  Luew exactly what this meant. “What’s the dition you were given?”

  “I o make both of them break a promise to their brother, whicludes hurting their brother” Elijah said.

  “That would mean that they have to hurt Zenith, right?” Lucy asked.

  “Yes, I believe so” he said.

  Lucy issed about this. Hurtih was something unthinkable to her. But after a sed of thinking, she said, “All right, I’ll still help out on this mission under one dition”.

  “What would that be?”

  “When were done, we take Zenith with us”

  After the sed explosion was heard, the remaining group of hunters split into groups to search the building. There was no way of knowing how many terrorists there were or how many more bombs they had.

  Aria, Anthem and Madison made up one group. Aria and Anthem both wao go after the leader along with the two people who attacked Zenith at the festival.

  Gideo with a group of association huo search. One of them set up a telepathic web between the groups so they could unicate to each other.

  If any group came across something they couldn’t handle alohey would send a message over the web so others would e help.

  But very quickly it became clear that not that many terrorists were there. Even the groups who found bombs bei up only found a few people doing it.

  The people who were found tried to put up a fight, but were quickly stopped. They were by no means weak, about A rank, but the groups were all well coordinated and even had some S ranks with them. Even high ranked A Hunters do not stand a ce when they are alone.

  But this easy a of the different groups put Gideon on edge. What did they do with such low level people? And why now?

  But ohought fully took over his mind, a question he fot to ask.

  How did Andrea know about this?

  He never asked her. She was right so it only mattered a little. But it still otentially important.

  Turing to the member of his group who created the telepathic web, he told him to go Andrea outside so he ask her a few questions.

  But the answer he received was heartbreaking.

  The member he sent to fiells him that both Andrea and Daniel are speechless on the ground, just staring back at the building. Thankfully, Nyx was there to tell him what happened.

  Turns out that one of the members of King’s Eo the ground floor and took Zenith, then vanished.

  Gideon quickly told the member who went dowo remove Aria and Anthem from the web.

  When that was doold everyone else to move out of the building.

  He told them that the main targets of the terrorists were Anthem and Aria, but not that they had taken a hostage. He khat ohem or Aria herald that Zenith was taken, nothing would stop them.

  These as left just Anthem and Aria, along with Madison following behind them. They were mainly searg for Elijah, or anyone else from Kings End. It had been awhile sihe st explosion and they hadn’t heard anything about the others in a while as well.

  At one point when they were stopped to let Madison and Aria rest, sihey were doing this ihey talked about a pn.

  “Ok, so we're pnning on going against a pretty strong oppo, if we do find Elijah that is” Anthem says.

  “Yeah, what about him” Aria asked.

  “I know he has reflect magic at least, so Aria. I think we o use that”

  “Really? Are you sure?” She asked.

  “Yeah, he blocked pretty much everything I through at him st time, so we o do more than I do alone”

  “Fine, we do it,” she said, after thinking about it for a sed.

  Madison was fused by this versation, but didn’t have time to ask about it, sihey started moving quickly.

  And after moving though a few different floors of the association, they found Elijah.

  He had made a home base ihe association in one of the training rooms. It seems he had hacked into the security system as well, since he had dispys of a lot of the cameras showing bombs throughout the whole building.

  He was also alone.

  Deg to open the fight with a direct attack, Anthem and Aria both charged a bst of their respective elements. They then headed into the room, and biheir attacks into one, creating a fusion skill.

  A fusion skill is when two skills bio create an expoially stronger skill, like magianship. That is the result of fusing elemental magid swordsmanship into one.

  The fusion of Absolute Darkness and Absolute Light is known as Absolute Eclipse.

  The spell they unched was one of the stro attacks on record, ohat would kill anyone under S rank instantly and would do serious damage to any S rank they knew.

  The attack created a rge amount of dust iraining room.

  But when it clears the three of them didn’t see Elijah's body where it should be. But instead, they fih, blooded and cut upm lying unscious where Elijah should have been.

  “Aria, Aria, you make a bird again!” A youh called up to his sister.

  “Of course. I’ll make anything you want” A 16 year old Aria said to her beloved little brother.

  This was right after Anthem and Aria became hunters and joihe association. And currently Aria was showing her skill, Absolute Darko Zenith.

  She was using it to create small little structs of birds and other animals for him to py with.

  But watg from a distance was Anthem. As he watched them py, he became jealous of Aria fging all of Zenith's free time. He also wao show off his new power to Zenith.

  Their skills did basically the same thing, just with different elements.

  And finally jealousy took over him.

  He walked over to the two of them.

  “Hey, Zenith, how about I show you my skill?” he said to his younger brother.

  “Really?!” Zenith said in pure excitement.

  And from there, he started making things just like Aria had. From there, Aria also started to make more things to try and one up her brother.

  But eventually, they learhe true extent of their skills.

  Two of the structs they made came into tact with each other and caused a major explosion ihe house.

  When the dust cleared, they found that their brother had been caught in the explosion. From there, a lot of things happehey called their parents and brought Zenith to the hunter association to deal with the injuries.

  And for the week, he did not wake up.

  Anthem and Aria over that week barely spoke or ate, or even moved, both bming themselves for what had happened, and assuming that the other also bmed them.

  And when he finally woke up, they made an agreement, to never use their skills like that in front of Zenith again, and to never harm him

  This promise would form a fual part of their being going forward.

  Luckily, Zenith didn’t even remember what had happened. He remembered seeing the pretty birds and animals they had made, but not the explosion.

  He assumed he had atack, and that was why he was in the hospital again.

  From there, the family moved forward.

  After grabbih from his parents, Lucy gave him a potion to heal the damage she was forced to do.

  From there, they set up their trap.

  Using Ava’s illusion magic, they made it look like Zenith was Elijah, watg security footage of the bombs ihe building.

  In all hoy, they only ever pnned oing off 2 bombs. And all the other people they brought, khat they would be getting captured.

  Their pn was to solly get the twins to attack Zenith, then take him and leave the building. That was it.

  And whehing was set, they once again used Ava’s illusion magic to lead the three hunters into there trap.

  And they fell for it hook line and sinker.

  Once Aria and Anthem found who they thought was Elijah, they unched a massive attack at him.

  And right when it did, Elijah's skill went off twice.
