  Chapter 98: The Winner!

  Clap, Clap, Clap!

Vulely: “Wonderful, just wonderful!” She praised, clapping away.

Before Celia, were twelve people. Even without her System, Celia could tell that… the twelve here were the Wills of various Universes.

Vulely: “My name is Vulely, dear Celia. I know, I know… Not very creative. I gave myself this name so very long ago, you see. Even before I was a Will…” She said with a happy smile, walking over, and patting Celia’s head.

As she did so, Vulely was annoyed that her precious strings were removed. But, in the end, Celia did everything she wished her to do, so the anger quickly faded.

  Celia: “…”

  The Other Wills: “…”

Vulely looked like a child, but, with a flick of her wrist, Celia was healed. Of course, it was only temporary healing, just enough for Vulely to prepare. After this, the blond girl stared deep into Celia’s soul, and she… easily noticed what this look meant.

Celia: “I am…” She didn’t finish her words.

Vulely: “My bed warmer, that is your role. I did soooo much to turn you into my perfect wife… Yet so many worthless pests have soiled you so.” She replied, lovingly rubbing Celia’s cheek.

At this, Celia felt like her world was ending. Like she feared, Celia was merely a tool, someone following the path that this Will laid out for her.

Vulely: “Aww… don’t be so sad. I rarely controlled you. I just… steered you into the proper course for growth. Though, it seems to have been a failure.” She coaxed.

Celia: “F-failure?” She repeated, sounding like a weak, defenseless child.

Vulely: “I drew too much attention to myself, and to you. Now, everything will end, it is my fault.” She answered with a laugh, seemingly unbothered by all this.

The other Wills were silent, and unmoving. This wasn’t due to any respect that they had for Vulely, who had now won the Game, which decides their fate. Rather, it was because they were all restrained via Vulely’s Magic. That includes their ability to speak, as well.

Vulely: “Live and learn, I guess.” She shrugged.

  Celia: “…”

Vulely: “Still sad? But your dear wife, Faith, has the perfect plan to save you. I won’t interfere, nor will I eat those fools over there.” She said, still haughty while pointing behind her.

Celia: “This… won’t you be killed for your crimes of inaction, and not properly running this Universe?” She asked with a curious tone.

Vulely: “Killed? No, no. I am lazy… simply because I have the power to do so. Ah, I will lose my position as a Will, of course. But this wasn’t a job that I ever cared for, you know.” She answered with a playful tone and expression, lustfully intertwining her fingers in Celia’s hair.

Even with all this, Celia quickly regained her composer. At the very least, the Will, Vulely, while lusting after her, was decently sensible. Swallowing her saliva, Celia was about to ask Vulely another important question. But then… Faith and Xena appeared in front of her, blocking Celia from Vulely’s burning gaze…
