Chapter 93: To The Fated, Final Battlefield.
Knowing full well that negotiations weren’t something that these two were keen on, Melta steeled herself.
In the end, Senra’s words rang true, even for Melta. If she was to die, then she’d at least fight to the death, rather than let Celia kill her while she shakes in fear. Higher Beings were pride incarnate, you see…
Clang!
Melta flew off her throne, shooting directly at Celia. With her sword materializing out of her storage, Melta then clashed with Celia’s own weapon.
In that instant, Celia’s eyes widened. Why? Because… Melta was almost evenly matched to Celia in terms of strength. Though, if Celia still had her System… then this wouldn’t be the case.
Woosh!
Celia: “This is…” She voiced with a shocked tone.
Melta: “…”
Luckily, since both were in awe, the fight paused here. Right after their swords contacted each other, Faith, Celia, and Melta were sent to a different dimension.
Melta was only shaken from being teleported away, while Celia… knew exactly where this place was, and or is.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Faith: “It was… still around, this entire time?!” She exclaimed.
Celia: “…I thought that it was truly gone.” She added, still surprised.
Around them were watchers of the Game. This area was now a giant coliseum, with Celia and Melta clearly being the entertainers for it.
But, Celia didn’t care much about this. For one, she mostly focused on her family, who were sitting with the audience, looking at her with worry clear in their expressions.
Other than that… Celia was familiar with this final location. Yes… it was that empty, snowy wasteland from so long ago. Like told many years ago, it truly was a place slated for a grand battle…
Heena: “Gentlewomen, and gentlemen, I am Heena. I welcome you all to the finale of the Game.” She appeared, using Magic to transmit her voice to everyone here.
Everyone: “…”
The woman, was, of course, that spider woman Amelie met years prior. Her name is, as you know now, Heena, and is the one responsible for the final section of the Game.
Despite being destroyed, this area remained untouched, and ready for the Game to end. Heena stood still, waiting for everyone to catch up.
Heena: “Today, the Game will end, and, from what I’ve heard… it will be the last one of this nature.” She added.
Amelie: “You… I’ve seen you before! Is it… really about to be over?” She asked, shouting so that the spider woman could hear her.
Heena: “Of course, it is the end.” She answered with a nod.
Amelie: “…”
Celia’s group wasn’t happy, while everyone else cheered, happy about how… not only did they all survive, but the Game was about to end. They, of course, completely forgot that not everyone here was of the same Universe, and that, Celia’s original Universe’s Will… is the one which will live, while the others, and those belonging to those Universes, will be erased… Let alone the Players who actually died in the Game…
Heena: “Now, please give a round of applause for the two remaining Players. The contestants are one Celia, and Melta!” She exclaimed, her voice loud.
