Chapter 21. Elves and Dwarves: 💃 Humans: ⚔️

  Ihe Divine Space.

After seeing Yuma have settled down, Cedric tapped his fingers on his armrest. “I already got the hero to settle down for now, so what should I do ?”

He mulled over his step before at st deg to check the dition of every ra the Crystal Cube world.

This time, the instant he sensed something wrong, Cedric would immediately take a preventative measure.

Just one demon king mess is enough for him.

Closing his eyes, Cedric quickly saw the whole Crystal Cube world from a god’s view. Then, he sent his mental power and trolled it to travel toward the elves’ territory.

Currently, the elves still gather iheir magical forests.

From a quick observation, Cedric could see the elf he previously met now has aed status pared to the other elves. His status right now is no different from a king who could gain respect from the other elves.

After activating Past Observation, Cedriew that elf had gaiher elves’s respect due to the knowledge he shared. That knowledge has further pushed the elven race’s artistic talent, as they have long stopped merely pying with mere mud statues.

With the introdu of furnad the actal creation of a kiln by one of the elves a few years ago, the current elven race’s art trend is skewed more to crafting pottery aal accessories.

While the elven arts indeed captured his attention, what Cedric focused more on is the amount of elven race’s blessed.

Although there are only slightly more thahousand elves ihe forest. Through a casual glimpse, Cedric saw the amount of elves who have awakeheir blessed power is only slightly lower pared to the humans.

In curiosity, Cedric activated his Divine Sight and observed several random elves, starting with the elf he had met before.

  [Life Level: Peak level 0

  Potential: Lower level 1]

â€œHuh?” He is a bit surprised as the elf actually has the same life level as Lacius, even though his potential is much lower than him.

Furthermore, in terms of human year, the elf he has met is only around his twenties, which is still in the prime of his life. That means he could still tio advand reach level 1 through the sheer lifespan the elven race has!

Then Cedric moved on and checked close to a thousand random elves before stopping.

Among those thousands of elves, the probability of an elf with blessed power to appear is only around 5 times higher than that of humans.

This made him sigh. pared to humans, not only do they have a much longer lifespan. But, their average potential is also much higher than the humans of the Crystal Cube world.

Luckily, uhe humans, those elves seem to be pretty peaceful at using their power.

For example, ahat has been blessed with ice power merely used it to show off their power by creating an ice sculpture while receiving the awe from other elves. Or ahat has awakeh or nature reted blessing will use their power to create a giant mo or a tree house.

Evehat have awakened violent power like fire and strength blessing are using them to create more beautiful arts.

Seeing the elves probably won’t cause any trouble anytime soon, Cedric switched his focus towards the dwarfs.

First, he checked the mountains surrounding the dwarf’s magic mountain and saw one of them had begun to be inhabited by close to a thousand dwarves.

From a quispe, Cedric found the dwarves on those mountains are extremely busy.

They are either opening the wastend to pnt more corps, tending to the corps or animals they have tamed, mining some ores on the mountain, or busy crafting some unknown thing from the ores they mined.

Because of their hard work, half of the mountain has turned into a beautiful field pnted with wheat like pnts. Occasionally, several cattle like animals be seen grazing on an open field on some part that hasn’t been pnted with corps.

After doing a simple calcution, Cedric found out the dwarf’s harvest should be enough to feed everyone on that mountain. There will even be a lot of excess left that be transported to the dwarf’s magic mountain.

Seeing the situation is quite stable, Cedric moved his attention towards the dwarf’s magic mountain.

When his mind power arrived on the magic mountain, Cedric’s attention immediately focused on a male dwarf wearing a massive armor made of magic metals. Behind the armor, that dwarf has a giant hammer on his back.

Due to that armor and hammer, a dwarf who should’ve had the height of one and a half meter now looks like a two meter tall bulky humanoid creature.

By moving his mental power around that armor, Cedric could se least five types of magic metals merged together to create the armor.

Their bination and craftsmanship make the differeal types bined with each other perfectly and increased their durability and flexibility.

While appreciating the dwarf’s armor, Cedric saw a dwarf walking toward the armor wearing dwarf while pulling a metal stick.

The se gives Cedric a sense of dĂŠjĂ  vu. He has seen such a se a long time ago in the dwarf races.

  Long ago, he has seen the dwarven traditiowo dwarfs will craft metal sticks and challenge each other by pushing their metal stick against each other in an attempt to bend the oppo’s stibsp;

Just whehought those two dwarves were going to do that tradition, the development of things diverged from the one he had seen before.

Instead of smashing the stick against each other, the armored dwarf entered a house and pulled two gigantic metal cubes.

He pced the two metal cube with some distance from each other before pg the metal stick brought by the dwarf that challenged him above the two metal cubes.

The armored dwarf then pulled a metal stick from his armor and pressed it against the metal that had been pced on top of the two metal cubes.

Cedric is a bit curious about what has caused the dwarf to alter their tradition, so he chooses to activate Past Observation and check it.

After activating past observation and finding the correct time point, Cedric’s expression turned weird.

His initial guess is correct. What they’re doing just now is the tradition to obtaile of leader.

It is exactly the ritual where two dwarves will cross their metal stick against each other while trying to bend the oppo’s metal he has seen a long time ago.

But with the dwarf’s adva iallurgy, the metal they created keep oing more and more durable.

At st, the metal of most dwarfs is already strong enough to be uable by normal dwarf’s power.

Luckily, there exists a dwarf who has awakened a strength reted power, which is exactly that armor wearing dwarf.

That means, to start the traditional battle, the assistance of that armor wearing dwarf is required to determihe winner in a metal stick duel.

So, as the current dwarven race’s chief and also the stro dwarf with strength reted blessing. That armor wearing dwarf has bee aionless humanoid hydraulic press., stantly doing his best to push oal stick against each other. Yet, some metal battles still ended up in a draw because of the strength of metal used to craft the stick has surpassed what he could bent.

The bination of that tradition and the dwarf’s g strength resulted in the dwarven race’s governance system to take on the shape of elder cil.

Where those dwarves whose metal stick ’t be bent by the armor wearing dwarf took ole of elder.

Meanwhile, that armor wearing dwarf is the nominated chief of dwarven raot only because his metal is unbendable against other dwarves’s but also because he is the only one everyone could depend on to tiheir tradition.

At first, the first few dwarves who had bee elders gathered in a meeting and wished to make him have the same status as other elders. But that armored dwarf deed and coerced them to make him the leader, otherwise he won’t be helping other metal stick duels.

Not only that, the armored dwarf also threw a massive tantrum in the meeting.

Seeing a short stout hairy man throwing a tantrum makes Cedric wish to his eyes with a detergent. So, he quickly turned his sight to check the expressions on the surrounding dwarves.

He saw most of the dwarven race elders rubbing their eyes. Most likely also feeling the same disgust as the one he felt.

Then, after a brief discussion, they quickly allowed him to be their nominated leader ahe title of dwarven chief.

When watg up to this point, Cedric deactivated Past Observation and held his forehead. “That’s so stupid!”

Ahing worthy to mention is that he found out the armor wearing dwarf is actually the one Cedric has pulled into the Dream Space through [Diviervention: Dream].

So, as his curiosity is piqued, Cedric activates Divine Sight to check how that dwarf is doing right now.

  [Life Level: Peak level 0

  Potential: Mid level 1]

  â€œWhat kind of ce is this? The three people I pulled with [Diviervention: Dream] somehow reached the peak of level 0 already?” Cedric muttered while sitting in the Divine Spabsp;

But thehought for a moment and realized, “Hm? Perhaps I mixed the cause and effect. Maybe they could reach the peak of level 0 so quickly because I pulled them to the Dream Space?

â€˜Is there something special about the Dream Spaeeting me will cause the creatures in the Crystal Cube world to bee stro a faster speed?’ Cedric mulled for a moment and realized he might be overthinking it.

Except for their gehe meeting with Cedrid gaining some knowledge from him. Those three people have one gring simirity among them.

That is, all three of them are the leader of their respective race. Which means they could e a massive amount of magical pnts and magical beast flesh to advaheir level quickly.

That should expin how those three could tally reach the peak of level 0.

Satisfied with his own genius dedu, Cedritio check the dwarf’s magic mountain for a while longer.

Seeing the magic mountain is also mostly peaceful, Cedrially went to the humaory.

Previously, he had already checked Winter City’s pace. Sht now, his focus is on the pce where the demon king will be born.

Upon arriving at the battlefield where Lacius’s army and Gratian’s army previously fought, which is located nearby River Stoy. Cedric immediately saw something weird.

While fog his mental power on that area, Cedric could see a thin bck cloud that looks like a miasma blog his view. Unlike clouds that float high in the sky, the miasma is more like a mist that gathers nearby the ground.

Although it doesn’t block all of his view, those miasmas still obstructed the se he saw.

He then checked the surroundings and saw the animals and even a person that’s walking nearby didn’t seem to see the miasma. Yet, in his mental power’s perception, that bck miasma is exceedingly clear.

â€œWhat the hell is that?” Seeing su odd se, he unsciously muttered in fusion.

Then Cedric quickly respoo his owion. “Wait, is that ive Energy?”

  [Correct.]

The System’s sudden affirmative noise shocked him. But as Cedric is already slowly getting used to it, he calmed dowy quickly and asked a question. “Why didn’t I see it before?”

[The terminology is quite plicated. But in simple terms, the ive Energy hasn’t begun to de when you check that location before.]

Cedriored the System’s useless first sentend quickly focused on the main point. “So, what ge will it cause?”

[When the ive Energy be seen through a god’s mental power. It means it is already dense enough to cause creatures that already have ive emotion to mutate.]

[Warm reminder: based on the amount of NE you’ve seen, the System has deducted the NE you see already has the ability to cause creatures to mutate since approximately a year ago. It’s reeo find the mutated creatures before they wreak havo your world.]

â€œHuh?” When Cedric read the System’s warm reminder, he quickly checked the surrounding area thhly and indeed found a weird animal standing nearby a tall cliff.

The animal looks like a giant chi at least two meters tall with occasional scars and balding spots that y feathers.

Except for its size and balding spot, it also has several unique features pared to other chis. The three most promi ones being its dark purple color, the dozens of eyes growing around its body, and the fact that it actually has three beaks.

Cedric the more effort to trol his mental power to observe the chi further.

He found that the chi seemed to have fought a tough battle some time ago. Because Cedric saw one of its beak seems to be damaged, while many of its dozens of eyes have turned blind with traces of scars around it.

After cheg the chi, Cedric cursed. “What in body horror monster is this thing?”

He then got struck by an idea and quickly activated his Divine Sight on it.

  [Life Level: Lower level 1

  Potential: Peak level 0]

  â€œWhat the hell? A level 1 chi?!”
