While Cedric watched as the humans heed his warning and prepared themselves to prepare for the sudden popution growth, he switched his attention to the dwarves.
Different from the humans who discussed their pn to the tee, the dwarves are much more casual.
They have long since found a few suitable mountains that tained a siderable amount of ores. Although not as ri minerals as the magic mountain they currently reside in, those mountains also tain a lot of easy to access mineral veins.
When the current chief of the dwarven race expiheir situation and the danger of the sudden popution increase, some dwarves readily agreed. They also wished to experiment with metals found iher mountains to create better metals. It is also the best time to put into practice the crafting teiques they have learned.
Furthermore,. it’s not like they couldn’t return to the magic mountain. The dwarf chief promised those who have greatly tributed to the vilge’s stru shall be granted access to the mountain’s ining area that has been proved to tain many magical metals.
Acc to what Cedric could see, those so-called magical metals are metals that have been nurtured by mana and awakened some sort of extra properties. Just like other things that have evolved because of mana, the properties they gained are extremely varying. Some have extraordinary endurance, capable of gei, geing cold air, or evehat simply weighs extremely heavy.
“It seems the dwarf’s situation is also stable.” He slightly nodded and gathered the mental power he has spread into the world.
“Now the’s also got to work.” Once his mental power had gathered bato his body, Cedric cpped his hand and ged the positio. He still o make sure the dwarves and humans have enough food.
Although he has spread the knowledge about vilges, which should’ve slightly eased the problem of high poputioy. He knows it is still not enough, and he o add more things.
First, he purchased three more [Species Fertility Blessing]. This time, the three [Special Fertility Blessing] won’t be used ohree se races in the Crystal Cube world, and instead will be used on the human and dwarf’s primary source of foods.
While he used his mental power to che the humans and dwarves, Cedriew that the animals they used as their livestock were of the same species. It is an animal that looks like the cattle he often saw on tv. But, it has slightly longer horns and looks a bit like a bull.
From his memories, Cedric recalled that the System has especially created a lot of these cattle lookalikes he settlements of all races. Which is the main reason the humans and dwarves have domesticated the same species of livestock.
As for the other two [Species Fertility Blessing], one of them will be used on a wheat like pnt and the other one on a spinach like pnt. Both pnts are also pnts that’ve been pnted by both races.
He is mindful enough to sider the race’s diet when deg which species he wishes to bless this time.
With the octahedron crystal shaped [Species Fertility Blessing] at his hand, Cedric began spreading his mental power into the world.
As he had used it thrice, Cedric already got some experieh the item. As he activated the [Species Fertility Blessing] while targeting the cattle like animal he wishes to bless. He trolled their spreading distah his mental power.
Under his trol, the energy from [Species Fertility Blessing] begins to spread out from the core of dwarf and human cities. Ohe energy spreads out far enough, Cedric restrains them so the blessing’s energy is tained within the surrounding of human and dwarven cities.
Ohe crystal in his hand ran out of energy, Cedric pced it on a table nearby and picked the other two [Species Fertility Blessing]. He repeated the a he had done and blessed the wheat like pnt and the spinach like pnts.
Just when Cedric cpped his hand to appreciate his hard work, the System suddenly sent several notifications apanied by siren-like sound that reverberated throughout the Divine Spabsp;
Among those notifications, some of them are written in blood red colors, which quickly pulled Cedric’s attention towards them.
[Warning! The density of ive Energy within an area has reached a dangerous degree!]
[Some creatures in your world have been ied by ive Energy and mutated!]
[Warning! The density of ive Energy within an area has reached a dangerous degree! A Demon King will be born in your world.]
[Estimated time until demon king’s birth: 20 years.
Estimated level of the newly born demon king: Middle to Upper level 2.]
“What’s going on?!” Seeing the tinuous warning, Cedric couldn’t help but slightly panic. Especially wheared at the word ‘ive Energy’ that’s written in an ominous blood red color.
Taking a deep breath, he asked, “What is ive Energy?”
[ive Energy, or usually abbreviated as NE is an energy that stands directly opposite of God Points.]
[Normally, once a living creature dies, their energy will ge into GP and NE depending on their experien life. The positive aral experiences will turn into God Points while the ive experiences will turn into ive Energy.]
[ive Energy will slowly accumute as time passes and ma as a camity ohe amount within the world has reached the limit. Creatures created or ied by ive Energy will try their best to kill everything in their surroundings and bring as much destru to the world. Furthermore, creatures killed by NE ied creatures will turn into ive Energy and stre.]
[Warm remihe previous god in charge of your current wot corrupted by too muegative Energy and fell.]
Cedric read through the long expnation before his eyes wide the bone chilling warm reminder. “Wait! Wait! You mean I’ll die if this ive Energy thingy killed or ied most creatures in my world? Didn’t you say I am now immortal?”
[Affirmative. You’re indeed immortal, as in having endless lifespan and incredible regeion. But, it’s uhe premise that your world is safe. Otherwise, with your status as a ‘fake’ god, you’ll definitely die once your wot destroyed.]
Rubbing his forehead, he asked once more. “Then, what should I do to remove the ive Energy?”
[You may increase the happiness of all living creatures in your world. When there are no more ive emotions from living creatures, ive Energy won’t cause much effect to your world. It’s because every world also has its own ability to slowly se ive Energy as long as not too much is gathered at once.]
Cedric rolled his eyes. Teag a brainless jellyfish about statistics is much easier than allowing all living creatures in the world to be happy.
So, he asked for any other means. “Is there any easier way to remove those ive Energy?”
[Removing the entire ive Energy from your world is almost impossible. But, you decrease its density to a safe degree by killing those NE ied creatures, especially the demon king, before they could destroy your world.]
Cedric rubbed his before opening the Diviem shop. When he saw the innumerable destructive on in it, he rexed.
Although those ons cost quite a lot of money. But as long as he could survive this camity, those GP are worth spending.
While he just sighed in relief, the System sent him a few other messages.
[You ’t! When a god personally used Diviems, especially destructive type Diviems. It will shatter the ban the world because of the god’s personal will, godhood information, and divine killing i carried within.]
[Support based Diviems like the Diviervention series or the Blessing series are still alright. They are created to especially suppress the effect of god’s information. Furthermore, the world restore its own bance as long as you haven’t used those supportive Diviems too often. But, if you personally used a destructive item on the world, your weak world will definitely shatter and you will die!]
Cedric’s relieved smile twitched after he heard that sudden news. “Then, are there other ways to decrease ive Energy?”
[Yes, but they are all around the same level of difficulty as making everyone in your world happy. Killing the demon king and NE ied creature is the most pusible way for the current you.]
“I ’t do this, I ’t do that.” Cedric scratched his head in exasperation. “If I ’t desd to the world, nor I use Diviems to kill them, what should I do then? Wait for death?!”
[Of course not. This is exactly when the inhabitants of your world e into use. You must find a way to make them kill the demon king and NE ied creatures.]
Upon hearing the System’s answer, Cedric calmed down. “Damn it, I panicked so much to the point that I fot about the creatures in the Crystal Cube World.”
“Calm down, although it is dangerous, I still have twenty years to ha. Furthermore, the demon king or whatever is merely level 2. It doesn’t sound all that strong.” Cedric closed his eyes as he took a deep breath while muttering to himself.
Upaining his calm, Cedric tapped on his chair’s armrests as he began to recall the versation he had with the System.
Thanks to the godhood’s power, wheried to recall his versation with the System, he could recall every siail. Even the panic, fear, anger, and despair he felt right then could be recalled.
While reviewing his memory, Cedric suddenly ected the dots on something.
He recalled the System’s first warning. The ohat said the density of ive Energy within an area has reached a dangerous amount. The keyword here is the word ‘density within an area’.
“Does that meaive Energy won’t spread evenly throughout the world? Then, where is the area mentioned in the system’s notification? Will the ive Energy iion begin there?”
[Both of your statements are correct. Also, as you’re still in a prote phase, the System will give you a free estimated area for the source of NE iion. Based on calcution, it should begin around the River Stoy.]
The sudden s shocked Cedric out of his thought, “Whoa, stop peeking at my thoughts!”
[The System didn’t read your thoughts. I just heard you muttering those questions out loud.]
“Urghh, this stupid mouth.” Cedric checked his memory and found he indeed actally muttered his thoughts out loud.
He shook his head to discard those useless thoughts and begin to rack his brain once more. But, while he tried to pn how to annihite the demon king and NE ied creatures, he actally deduced the culprit of this whole mess instead.
River Stoy being the source of ive Energy and the fact that ive Energy is geed by ive experience of dead people is a dead giveaway for the culprit’s identity.
Due to the anger from that realization, Cedri’t help but scream the name of the two main culprits. “Lacius! Gratian! You little piece of shiet!!!!!”
He seriously regretted showing that illusion to Gratian. Especially the bullshit illusory pace he created that is the root cause of humanity’s war.
He is one hundred pert sure that war is the cause of this whole ive Energy mess.
If he got the ability to go back to the past, he wished to sp the Cedri that time until he got traumatized by paces. That oupid brain cramp of his has resulted in such a massive trouble that even endangered his life!
