“I inherited these ten rings in a secret realm,” Sven said while opening the door of his modified pickup truck for Elizabeth.

  “Yes, I know. You already talked about it before,” she replied as she sat on the pilot seat.

  Sven closed the door, walked around and got into his seat.

  After driving his vehicle out from the small wood back to the main road, he explained, “it is not that simple. I hadn’t awakened my spiritual sense at that time so I was only able to use two rings.”

  “Go on,” she said while opening a familiar chicken flavored potato chips bag which was put on the dashboard. She then ate one and smiled.

  Elizabeth’s eyes were immediately attracted by the beautiful ring. She didn’t hesitate and tried to take it off. Unfortunately, the ring seemed stuck and she couldn’t take it off no matter what.

  After a while, Sven looked at the highway road signs and asked, “did you inform your parents?”

  “I did. I called my mom and told her that I was going to have a great American road trip with my boyfriend. My dad doesn’t know it because he would certainly ask us to meet him first if he did. So, I didn’t tell him,” she said calmly.

  “No, no, no, we can have a family dinner if you want. If I were a dad in the same situation and my daughter did that, I would be really, really pissed off. We are turning around,” Sven said.

  Just when Sven wanted to turn the vehicle around, the scenes in front of him suddenly changed.

  On the highway road, tens of vehicles magically disappeared at the same time.

  It scared the drivers at the back so much that they pulled over their vehicles to the roadside in emergency. Then, they all started calling 911 nervously.

  Some got out of their vehicles to check and starting communicating each other.

  Some waved at the incoming vehicles and told them to stop as the unknown happened at the front.

  All of a sudden, a small traffic occurred.

  It lasted shortly until a few I don’t know and I don’t care guys drove over the problematic area safely.

  Some also left because they had things to do. Some stayed and waited for the police.

  At the other side, it was a beautiful beach of a big island in the vast ocean.

  Suddenly, a group of vehicles appeared out of nowhere at the midair several feet above the seawater.

  There were pickup trucks, a few sedan and a U-haul.

  Everyone was screaming as they suddenly appeared in a strange place and started feeling the free fall.

  But the screams didn’t help beside being unpleasant to hear.

  The vehicles fell straight into the water. It was just several feet high and the entire free fall process only lasted like a few seconds.

  Fortunately, it was shallow water area as if luck had really favored them.

  Everyone felt the impact but it wasn’t much and no one was injured.

  After looking around through the windows, daring men got out of their vehicles and started touching the water.

  It was all clean and appeared slightly bluish. One could see the clean sands underneath and some strange plants waving along with the water here and there.
