Sylph stood there, dumbfounded, as she looked at the spacious room. There was only a single double bed. No two beds, no three beds—just one!
Kenley had thought about this too, and he let out a sigh.
"Master, Tia can sleep on the floor. I'm an undead, it doesn't matter where I sleep. You can sleep on the bed," Tia said, glancing around before speaking her mind.
Sylph frowned but then gritted her teeth and said,"I'll sleep with Tia. You sleep on the bed, human, I won't fight you for it."
Kenley rolled his eyes, thinking, as if I wanted you to fight me for it.
Kenley didn't speak but instead walked over to the bed, gently pressing on the surface, then walked around the bed in a circle.
"Tia, I remember vampires are supposed to be nocturnal, right? You're not on the same time schedule as us. Can you sleep during the day?" In general, that's how it was, but Kenley had never really looked into the background of vampires; he was more focused on actual combat stats and abilities.
Tia answered without hesitation,"Master, actually, Tia doesn't need to sleep. I don't get tired, and I'm never exhausted—except when I'm hungry."
Kenley looked up,"So, does that mean you have to stay awake all the time?"
Tia thought for a moment before responding,"Not exactly. Vampires can enter a dormant state, similar to human sleep, but this state can be disturbed by intruders or by our own waking."
"I see," Kenley said,"So you can sleep, but it's different from humans."
"Yes, and Tia isn't affected by normal sunlight," Tia added.
Kenley's eyes lit up. He had not noticed this all day. Tia had been with him the whole time, and yet she had never seemed uncomfortable due to the sunlight.
Perhaps it's because of her royal blood?
At this point, Sylph added,"Tia is not like those common, filthy creatures. She has the bloodline of a hero flowing through her veins. Even as an undead, she remains under the protection of the Mother Goddess, so the sunlight doesn't harm her."
It was as Sylph said. After hearing her explanation, Kenley nodded. As the princess of the Elven Forest, her words carried significant authority.
"Tia, are you hungry?" Truthfully, Kenley had noticed Tia's condition. In Kenley's servant profile, he could clearly see that her blood thirst was almost at zero. But Tia had been silently enduring without saying a word.

Tia's face instantly paled. In the end, her master had asked the question.
"Tia is not hungry," Tia muttered, lowering her head.
"That's a lie!" Kenley was angry. As his servant, how could she act so recklessly?
Tia immediately trembled, quickly turning her head away to avoid his gaze.
Kenley stood up as he spoke. He walked up to Tia, his eyes locking onto hers as she tried to avoid his stare."You are my holy servant, Tia. You are mine! From the moment we signed the contract, I swore before the Mother Goddess to be your master and take care of everything about you—including your life!"
Upon hearing those words, Tia immediately looked at Kenley with eyes full of color—not in shock, nor surprise, but with a warmth she couldn't explain.
Sylph, on the other hand, didn't quite understand. She thought Kenley was asserting his dominance. Frowning at Kenley's domineering behavior, she stood up and said,"Tia, drink from me! If you're hungry, just drink my blood! I'm an elf, and my blood has a powerful life essence that will be beneficial to your body."
Tia panicked, shaking her head repeatedly."No, I can't! Sylph, if your father sees the wound, he will be deeply, deeply hurt! And I have the dark seed inside me, I can't let you be tainted!"
"What should we do, then? We can't let you stay hungry like this! Do you want me to just watch you die in front of me? Tia, I can't do it!" As she spoke, Sylph's tears welled up, clearly overwhelmed with emotion.
After all these years, Tia remained the pure, kind-hearted Tia from the past. Even when she was suffering, even when she was in pain, she didn't want anyone around her to be affected by her own burdens.
"Sylph, please... don't make it hard for me..." Tia's eyes were filled with tears, and it was evident that she, too, was in immense emotional pain at this moment.
Just then, Kenley spoke up."Stop arguing!"
With that, Kenley walked over to the table, picked up a water cup, and then pulled out a short sword from his backpack. Looking at the short sword he had gotten from Stephen, Kenley couldn't help but let out a self-deprecating laugh. Truly, he was seeking his own demise.
Kenley then focused, his eyes sharp. He drew the sword across his palm, and blood began to flow, filling the cup beneath him.
"Tia, drink from me," Kenley said, filling the cup. He pressed a cloth against his wound to staunch the flow of blood and then held the cup out to Tia.
"Master, you!" Tia looked at him in shock. Was this something a master would do for their servant? She was just a servant—she didn't need... she didn't deserve such kindness.
"It's still fresh. If it's left too long, it won't be drinkable. I remember vampires don't like stale blood, right?" Kenley said, pressing the cloth against the wound and frowning.
Tia stared at the cup filled with her master's warm blood, and at that moment, she felt as though something inside her chest was being filled. Sylph, standing nearby, also looked at Kenley in disbelief. She never imagined that Kenley, a human, could possess such a broad heart.
Since she was a child, Sylph had heard many things about humans from the elves. Some were heroes, of course, but most were villains.
She had always believed that humans like heroes must be clad in golden armor, fearless warriors radiating light. But those lowly, shameless humans—driven by their own desires—were often portrayed as merciless pillagers. They were ugly, or their beautiful appearances hid their wicked souls.
The elves had suffered much at the hands of humans. Many of their kin had been kidnapped and sold in slave markets, reduced to human playthings. This history led the elves to shut themselves off from the outside world, forbidding outsiders from easily entering the Elven Forest, making it a secluded, isolated place.
