Kuroya left the main residence of the Uchiha cn and returned home.
His home wasn’t anything special: just a typical house, nothing particurly eye-catching. It was a single-story house, not very big, with three rooms, a main living area, a bathroom, and the essentials.
His sister wasn’t home, likely still at work. She had a job at a small restaurant, so she wouldn’t be back for a few hours.
Kuroya entered his room. It was already clean and tidy. Some things were clearly missing, but they were all repceable, so there was no reason to worry.
He also had a lot of money saved up. Even though he’d spent quite a bit earlier, it was still just a small portion of his total savings. The only thing he appreciated about the Land of Fire was how much cheaper everything was compared to the Land of Grass, so recovering his expenses would be quick.
—Well, now I have to gather information and all that... But it’s not like I have much to say anyway —I murmured as I started pcing seals on the walls.
Since this room —and the residence in general— would be my home for the next few years, I had to secure the pce so I could rest peacefully.
Of course, the chance of being discovered was very low… but not zero.
Kuroya finished pcing the seals in a few hours, just as his sister returned home.
—Kuroya! —she shouted as she threw herself at me, wrapping her arms around me.
"You’ve got two big reasons to win me over now."That was the first thing he thought.
Kuroya hugged her, burying his face in his sister’s chest.
—Hey, sis. I’m back —he whispered.
His sister, tears in her eyes, nodded.
—Yes... welcome back.
They stayed like that for a while, hugging, until Kuroya’s mental stability dropped enough for him to finally let go of the embrace.
—How was your day? —he asked, sitting down on the sofa.
—It was a good day. Lots of people came to the restaurant, which was a bit tiring… but we got a bonus, so it was a good thing —she replied while heading into the kitchen.
Kuroya nodded with a smile. The restaurant where his sister worked was quite popur within the Uchiha cn, so it was a happy moment when she nded the job there. Thanks to that, they were able to live more comfortably financially.
Of course, from Kuroya’s perspective, he hadn’t noticed much at the time, since his sister always took care of everything. But now that Akihiro had taken control of the body, he understood the many sacrifices she had made to support them both.
And because of that, he felt deep respect for her.She was also cute, which earned her extra points.
As they enjoyed a quiet day at home, someone knocked on the door.
—Kuroya, can you get that? —his sister asked from the kitchen.
He nodded and headed to the entrance right away.
When he opened the door, he was met with a figure that looked extremely familiar.
—Oh, crap… —he muttered just before someone, only slightly taller than him, threw herself at him.
—Kuroya, are you okay?! —asked a clearly distressed young woman, grabbing him tightly.
—Oh, yeah, yeah. Rex, things didn’t go as badly as it seems —Kuroya replied, trying to calm her down.
—Not that bad?! You were kidnapped, Kuroya! You could have died! —she yelled, checking him from head to toe for any injuries.
Kuroya felt a bit uncomfortable with how close and familiar she was being, but said nothing. He knew she was doing it out of concern, so he held back and let her be.
Eventually, the girl let out a sigh of relief and released him.
—Okay… you really do seem fine. I’m so gd.
—Told you, it wasn’t that big a deal —Kuroya replied with a slight smile—. Come in, please. People are starting to stare.
Looking out at the street, he noticed several neighbors watching them with curiosity, and a few women chuckling softly at the scene. The girl blushed when she noticed the attention and, embarrassed, accepted the invitation to come inside.
Once in, Kuroya’s sister greeted her with a smile.
—Hi, Mikoto. How are you?
—Hi, Sister Chiharu. I’m good, I came from the academy to check on my little brother Kuroya —she replied with a smile, returning the greeting.
Chiharu and Mikoto began chatting while Kuroya sipped some tea, quietly observing them.
He couldn’t help but feel a bit envious. Having those two young women in front of him was a visual luxury: Mikoto and Chiharu were genuinely attractive, even by the high standards of the Uchiha cn.
Mikoto stood out with her long, straight bck hair. She wore a sleeveless dark purple blouse paired with a short beige skirt and bck shorts underneath.
Chiharu, on the other hand, had equally bck hair, but it was much shorter, just reaching her neck. She wore a simple dark blue kimono and pin bck pants.
Both could easily make it onto a list of the most beautiful women Kuroya had seen since arriving in this world. Of course, if it came down to personal taste alone, he still preferred the style of the girls from Kusa out of simple familiarity.
Unfortunately for Kuroya, his fate wouldn’t be tied to Mikoto’s. Her future was already written: someday she would be with Fugaku, and together they would have Sasuke and Itachi.
—A shame, really… but that’s life —he murmured, resigned, as he enjoyed a pleasant moment in the company of both girls.
