Chapter 15

The Kusa team woke up with renewed energy and excitement, ready to explore every corner of Konoha. A day had already passed since their arrival, but the accumuted fatigue had overwhelmed them, allowing only an hour of sightseeing before heading to a hotel to rest. Now, with their energy restored, they were ready to enjoy a short vacation before returning to training and missions.

Miyuki led the group, with Aiko, Hiroshi, and Akihiro following closely behind, all with looks of curiosity and wonder. Although their mission had concluded, the thrill of visiting such a renowned vilge as Konoha made them feel like a new adventure was about to begin.

They started their tour at the main square, a bustling pce where the vilgers carried out their daily tasks. The shops offered everything from ninja weapons to traditional sweets, and the group stopped at a local bakery, tempted by the aroma of freshly made dorayakis. After buying some and enjoying their sweet taste, they continued to one of Konoha's most iconic spots: the Hokage Monument.

—It’s impressive in person… —Hiroshi murmured, looking at the faces carved into the mountain, one for each Hokage who had led the vilge. —I can’t imagine how much work it took to make this —added Aiko, in awe. —Why don’t we have one? —Akihiro wondered.

Each of them silently observed the monument. Akihiro, recalling his knowledge of the vilge's history, began recounting simple anecdotes about each Hokage, enjoying his role as an impromptu guide. Of course, he avoided mentioning sensitive topics like the story between Madara and Hashirama. He didn’t want to attract the attention of Konoha's ANBU.

They then headed to the Ninja Academy of Konoha. For security reasons, they couldn’t get too close, but they watched from afar as the young future ninjas trained with precision.

—Those kids there would already be genin in our vilge, but their precision is even better than some of our chunin —commented Miyuki, evaluating a team practicing kunai throwing. —Yes, you can tell they receive rigorous training from the start —Hiroshi replied.

Later, they visited the herbal and medicine market. Miyuki couldn’t help but be interested in the pnts and ointments used in Konoha, comparing their quality to those in Kusa. She bought some for personal use and gifted a few to her team.

As the afternoon went on, the group explored alleyways, parks, and even passed by the entrances of the most important ninja cns, like the Senju Cn and the Uchiha Cn. Upon seeing the Uchiha district, Akihiro couldn’t help but think about the future of the cn. For the moment, the Uchiha still lived in their homend, in an extensive area matched only by the territory of the Senju Cn. The thought that both powerful and respected cns would eventually vanish filled him with questions.

—Could Danzo or Hiruzen have had something to do with the Senju Cn’s disappearance? —he wondered, but quickly decided to push those thoughts aside and continue enjoying the vilge's scenery.

Finally, they arrived at a famous ramen restaurant they had heard about and couldn’t miss. Aiko and Akihiro were excited, and after a few minutes of waiting, they received their steaming bowls.

—This is the best ramen I’ve ever had! —Aiko excimed, savoring the broth joyfully. —I’d leave Kusa and move to Konoha for this ramen —Akihiro joked.

As the sun began to set, painting the sky with shades of orange and purple, the team walked back to the center of the vilge. Suddenly, they heard an argument on one of the main streets and, driven by curiosity, approached. There, in the middle of a small group of spectators, they saw two figures standing out.

—How can you be so irresponsible? —one of them yelled, frowning and with clenched fists. —Oh, come on, Tsunade, it wasn’t that bad. It was just a small investigation… —the other responded with a nervous smile, scratching the back of his neck.

Akihiro recognized them immediately. One was Jiraiya, and the other, Tsunade Senju. Although they would be known in the future as two of the legendary Sannin, at that moment, they still appeared to be genin. Jiraiya tried to calm Tsunade with jokes, but each comment only seemed to make her angrier.

—Is it always this chaotic here? —Hiroshi whispered, amused. —It seems even the great vilges have their own problems —Miyuki commented with a smile, as they watched a group of ninjas disperse the crowd.

Finally, Tsunade let out a huff and walked away, leaving Jiraiya behind. He just shrugged and walked off in the opposite direction. The Kusa team exchanged amused gnces before heading back to their lodging, satisfied and with unforgettable memories of their visit to Konoha.
