School Pt.2

The door of the class opened. "Oh Grand's here, good morning Grand!!."His His

Grand paused then with a faint smile waved at the girl. "Good morning Thea and others.

Thea rolled her eyes, she knew Grands habit of greeting her put not the others. "Dude, atleast greet your classmates properly.

Grand ignored her and went to take a seat. "No such thing, I only greet you because I know you and you are too persistent.

Thea chuckled, her emerald eyes glowed with delight as she walked towards Grand, and stared down at him, her blonde hair casually streaking down her face. "Really...but since you say that, you should accept my offer to be your girlfriend.

Thea blushed slightly, and Grand sighed he could sense she had a lot of passion for him, his hand reached her head and gently patted her. "I don't think you should have a crush on someone like me and I can only see you as a friend...my one and only friend.

Thea blinked, caught off guard by the gentleness in his voice. His words weren't sharp, nor were they cold, they were painfully sincere. That was just how Grand was. Always distant, always honest. Yet, she still found herself hoping for more.

She let out a small, defeated laugh and looked away, her cheeks still tinged pink. “You always say stuff like that... but whatever. I’m still not giving up.

Grand gave her a faint smile, one that didn’t quite reach his eyes. “I know"

He retracted his hand and kept it to his side, Thea stayed there for a few seconds, looking at him then sighed, slowly moving towards her seat.

Grand knew he had ruined a bit of her mood for the morning, bit she would recover...she always does.

Class won't start for the next ten minutes and Grand had no passion to draw anything at the moment, so he closed his eyes and envisioned the nine colours that resides in his 'heart'.

They were made from small circled that formed around a disk that was coloured black and white and in the white disk contained a hole where a black orb resided and on the black one was white

Thus was his 'heart' the forest of all his 'nine' emotions and this was his entire self, there was a bit of emptiness and a bit of the black emotion

He felt like he could somehow, one day put one of this emotions in one of his drawings...maybe that would make them complete.

He opened his eyes and the world was in black and white, but he could see the colour coming of plants, animals and people, all things that live have emotions and all emotions mix together to make a new emotion

Grand’s vision sharpened as the classroom around him faded into monochrome. The world was in black and white, a canvas he was all too familiar with. He could see the emotions swirling in the air, each person’s feelings manifesting as colors, vivid against the dull greys and whites of the world he inhabite

Thea’s bright green aura, full of hope and longing, clashed against the deeper, calmer blues of the other students around

Her emotion was an almost tangible thing, swirling around her like a lively breeze, mixing with flashes of yellow and orange, happiness, passion, warmth. It was clear she cared deeply for him, but that emotional intensity, that warmth, was what made it impossible for her feelings to be returned.

Grand couldn’t share in her emotion. Not completely. Not when his own emotional landscape felt so empty.

His fingers tapped lightly against the desk, following the patterns of the swirling colors in his mind. Even in this form, this empty world, he could still feel them, the other emoti

But that was his heart composed of nine colors, it was who he truly is and who he will continue to be.

He closed his eyes once again and opened it, the world in his vision returned to normal. Soon fifteen minutes passed quickly and the teacher came in, he had a tired and gloomy expression but there was no darkness in his emotion, only a passion for his job and a protectiveness to his students.

"Hello guys, we have three transfer students joining out class today, would you introduce yourself." He then glanced at the students he brought inside.

The first one was the short boy with green hair and eyes. "My name is Velev and I like painting and drawing."

The students murmured as they gave slight glances at Grand, of course Grand didn't react to those glances, he was an artist like him, so what, he couldn't experience the vision he had so he has no such thing as familiarity to someone he just met.

The next person stepped up energetically. She had blue hair and blue star shaped pupils. "Hiya, my name is Eta and I love observing the stars and basking in the sun, nice to make your acquaintance."

Then the next person....was someone Grand met and drew yesterday, the white cloth was still covering her forehead which made him frown. "My name is Pinnel and I don't think I have a favourite thing...but I love making new friends and sharing experiences with them."

The students then clapped their hands. Grand wondered why inly in Class-E the new students would introduce themselves and also indulge in relatively weird activities.

The teacher smiled. "You can sit behind Grand on the empty row."

The trio mad their way towars the back without any problem...but Velev paused when he walked passed Grand.

He saw something. Something thay shouldn't be active in the psyche of this race, he could sense the energy they use to manifest their bodies and abilities on Grand.

Inetia was present in the mind of a human which made him completely baffled. He was now more intrigued in the fellow artist.

Velea moved and sat on a seat near Eta with a faint smile on his face. The orb present on the back of his arm glowed a strange green.
